HHI 6/30-7/1 waitlisted

(Sorry-6/29-7/2 are real dates).Just decided to try HHI again this summer(last 2 summers went late June and early August) and got waitlisted for 2bdroom. I added points at HHI in 2002 to get the 11 month window, but made the decision late this year. Hope it will come thru....if not well I hope I won't have to think about alternatives. Its the first time I'm doing the automatic procedure. Anybody have good/bad experiences? I have not had to be on a waitlist since 2001 at (HHI). No problems ever getting OKW; and no problem with BCV @7 months for summer. Hope for a positive outcome!

The week of July 4 is probably the week most quickly sold out at the Hilton Head resort.

There is always the possibility of a cancellation -- I guess it just depends on how many are on the wait list in front of you.

I thought this year might be a little different, since July 4 is on a Friday and a lot of people don't like using points for Friday nights -- I thought they might choose a different week.
