So I'm trying guage what you guys mean by light and heavy crowds. DH and I were at DL/CA on Monday (no kids) and I'm guessing area schools *should* have been back in session. Although I did see a lot of school aged kids. The weather was GORGEOUS!! We got there about 15 minutes after opening and waited about 5 minutes to get through security. Then we waited about 20 minutes to get tix. I should have bought them online, but I didn't.

So we went to DL first and started with Adventureland. Indy had a 10 minute standby line, so we got FP then went on Jungle Cruise. Pretty much walked right on. Then to Indy where we waited for 20 minutes even with the FP. Pretty much walked right onto Pirates, Mr. Toad, Snow White. Waited 20 minutes for Peter Pan. About 10 minutes for Thunder Mountain. About 15 minutes for Space Mountain. We did all this before 1:30.

Had lunch at DTD, then got to CA around 3:30. Got Soarin FP, walked onto the Zephyr ride, and the ferris wheel. Waited about 10 minutes for Mulholland Madness. ToT was about a 40 minute wait and there were no FP available at about 5pm. CA closed at 6pm.

Went back to DL and waited about 15 minutes for Matterhorn and did Star Tours and Honey I Shrunk the Audience with minimal waiting. Wanted to ride SM again, but the line was 25 minutes. Park closed at 8pm and we left around 7:15 before the fireworks started.

So in one day we rode everything on my list except CA Screamin. We had a FP for it, but we didn't want to walk all the way back to it after ToT. I wanted to make sure to ride the Matterhorn, which I hated. I actually hadn't planned on any of the "dark rides" unless the line was very short. They were all short except Peter Pan. And Alice (20 minutes) which we skipped. Tea Cups were closed :sad1:

I know we had very little waiting for several rides. But the parks still seemed fairly crowded to me. We're thinking of taking the kids very early summer (right after Mem. Day). If Monday was considered "light crowds" I might be in trouble. :rolleyes1

That's not too bad really. I have been many times where the CM were waiting on people to ride, no lines at all. Then I have been many times where it was just insane to be there to begin with. If you got to do pretty much everything you wanted then I say you had a great day!princess:

Glad that you made it on most of the rides that you wanted too! Sounds like you guys had a wonderful trip!

Honestly, that's about as light as it gets anymore. You won't find the parks any less crowded than that, unless it is pouring rain.

I had friends there on both Sun and Mon, and they said Sunday was very, very dead in the parks. They walked on just about every ride, but that was because it was threatening rain all day long. It never did rain until later that evening.

BTW for future reference, Indy FP won't really help you unless the line is over 45 min. The only part FP bypasses is the outside que.

I was there this past Monday as well, and yes...I would consider that as light as it gets anymore. My daughter was with me too, but her school (here in the Bay Area) didn't start until Tuesday so we lucked out with traffic coming home too. Anyway, we experienced about the same times as you did, and we loved it. :goodvibes Hope you had a great trip :thumbsup2

Ack! Well we definitely enjoyed ourselves. But that worries me about taking the kids there this summer. School for us gets out before memorial day, so we would likely not be there during peak peak season. But seems like we can expect a lot more crowds than we had on Monday. Thanks everyone!

Yup, that sounds pretty light to me. I've been there when lines are 45 minutes to an hour or even more, even for some of the smaller rides like dumbo and the silly Casey Jr. train.

I would say that sounds like a pretty light day to me. I hope it's like that when I go back in late Apr/early May.;)

haha, i seen even slower. Indy was walked on. I remember walking on Indy with a fastpass asking the CM why i fastpassed :D

She was like yeah, FP is pointless :) at least you can say your a fastpasser :D
