I pronounce the H, but I am from Texas and we tend to use every single syllable and draw it out as long as possible! So we actually say it like "HHHHHHuuuummmmble"
Only in England as far as I know. And while we're on silent h's, it should be "a historic..." not "an historic...." Is it "an humble...." No, because you pronounce the "h". Is it "an history class"? No. Is it "an hour"? Yes, because the "h" is silent.
So what's with the newscasters changing to "an historic" a few years ago? Is the "h" in "historic" silent in your region?
I noticed that too with the "an historic" thing. It bugs me, and sounds awkward because it is incorrect.
In my region at least, the "h" is not silent in "historic."

Haha, that's true!! Apparently we pronounce our vowels really nasally, too. Flag, bag, rag, etc., are pronounced with a long, drawn out "a" rather than a short "a" like in "can."
