I called MS last week to see what the availability is at HH for the week after Easter and was astounded to find nothing was available at all. Not a single unit was available anytime that week. Now I know alot of schools have Spring Break that week, but I was still surprised. Don't folks realize how cold it can still be then? I was thinking about switching our ressies at VWL and AKV for that week to HH because we were/are thinking about doing another stay at Christmas 2008 at VWL and I'm thinking four stays at WDW within a year span might be a little bit too much Disney even for me (much less DW who isn't the Disney fan I am). I guess I was thinking this would be easy to do - but apparently that is a very busy time even at HH. Anyway, we decided just to keep the ressies we have and perhaps just not go to the parks as much in March.

We've done Spring Break at Hilton Head before (not at Disney.) It can be cold, but can be very nice... I think the thing that makes Hilton Head appealing compared to other beach locations is the many things to do. The weather can be chilly for the ocean but quite nice for golf, tennis, bicyling, etc.

Plus, as one cast member explained to me one time, Hilton Head is really a very tiny resort, (just over 100 rooms) so it fills up quite quickly.

Hope you enjoy your time at WDW. Sometimes I wish we had more time to spend at the resorts when we're there.
