HH Restaurants

Going to HH in June. I have only been there once before. We will be having breakfast and lunch in the villa but will be eating out for dinners. Need dining info. What are some of your favorite places to eat and why?

When we were in HH, we found a restaurant that had left the Philly area several years prior & re-located to HH!! We were so happy!

Crane's Tavern is a GREAT place to eat and drink. Delicious steaks, and the best French Onion Soup there is.

San Miguel's across the marina in Shelter Cove is reasonably good for Mexican, and, if the weather is comfortable, there's outside dining. Red Fish - down to Sea Pines Circle and then right - has a wonderful wine list and consistently good food for both seafood and beyond. The Old Fort Pub off Squire Pope Road is our favorite splurge place. If you go, try to go near sunset. CQs in Sea Pines is also consistently good. The Crazy Crab on the north end of the Island is very casual, has seafood, and out side dining. The locals will tell you Charley's Crab, also on Squire Pope Road, is a favorite for seafood. Have a great trip .... wish I was there ...

Right near the resort, we liked Scott's Fish Market for seafood. Also, there's a place in Sea Pines we enjoyed, but it's changed names recently so I don't know how it is now, it used to be called Cafe Europa (truthfully, we went for lunch). We also liked the British Open Pub in Wexford Village for English/British food (reminded me of the Rose and Crown in Epcot) and It's Greek to Me, right across the street from there for (what else?) Greek food.

Jazz Club (I think that is the name...make Reservations!)

The Grill at the Beach house or at the Pool House. Make sure Joyce is cooking. She makes the best burgers anywhere!

If you come over to Savannah, there are a pile of great restaurants here.

Signes is great! The only reason I didn't mention it is that they serve only breakfast and lunch, and I thought you wanted dinner places. But one day you really should go there for breakfast or lunch.
I'm so glad to hear a recommendation for the Jazz Club. That's one place we've always meant to get to, but haven't gotten round tuit.

We went to Marley's last month and loved it! I will have to remember Cranes for next year it sounds great!!

MagikMom, I just bumped a thread about HH Restaurants. It is an old thread but has been added to over the years by all of us and has some great tips about HH restaurants. Hope that this helps! Have fun in June, we will be there too!
