HH restaurant

Just back from HH 7/28-8/4. Found a fabulous restaurant, Red Fish. I can't say enough about how wonderful the food was here. We also ate at Black Marlin, Old Oyster Factory, and San Miguels. I wish we had eaten at Red Fish every night - outstanding seafood. San Miguels was the worst mexican food I've ever had and overpriced. Black Marlin and OOF were average seafood dinners. Red Fish is also 10% discount for DVC which of course we forgot about when we were there.

Did you get to Signe's?

No, we didn't make it to Signe's. Are they known for their breakfast? We did go to Stacks, love the creme brulee french toast and crab eggs benedict. My husband and I shared both and were stuffed until dinner.

It's been one of my faves for a couple of years now. They're great to go to for lunch too!

Thanks for the information about Red Fish. Are they only open at dinnertime? Are they near the resort? And we're also big fans of Signe's. Haven't had lunch there yet-just breakfast. But maybe we'll try lunch there sometime.

We also enjoy Red Fish. I had a simply wonderful shrimp and grits dish. If I would not have embarrassed my DH I would have licked the bowl

Glad someone else enjoys Red Fish - hmmmmm since it is not mentioned on the boards much, maybe we should keep it a secret?

We are on our way this Sat. for stay at HHI 8/12-15. We'll have to try it! We found a new favorite last trip(june06), Frankie Bones-great food and atmosphere and to die for Lobster Mac & Cheese! Look forward to trying Redfish...counting down. Love the DVC discount.

We felt the same way about Red Fish after trying it this year. The filet they gave me from the Earlybird menu was so large I asked the waitress if she heard me say earlybird filet before I cut into it. It was the best meal we've had to date on Hilton Head.

Son had the way expensive burger and is still talking about it. Worth every penny.
