HH report

Are there any buildings where you can actually see the marsh, or do you know if all Marsh view buildings have a good layer of trees between the building and the marsh?

We stayed in building 31, 1st floor last July. We had a wonderful, unobstructed view of the creek from our villa. The week before we were there, the resort cut down all of the trees/brush in front of the balcony.

We spent hours looking our at the creek and relaxing. It was awesome. I don't know if they normally do this but we said we'd probably never be able to top that view.

We were at HH over Thanksgiving -- resort was full. We had 2 two bedrooms and 3 studios.

The elevator was working but we heard it had been down previously. The resort is showing signs of wear in spots.

One of our toilets overflowed and the problem was rectified immediately. Also, air conditioning in one of the units didn't work and was fixed right away.

Front desk people were cordial and helpful, though check-in was a bit slow. Went out of their way to supply utensils for the grill -- we used the brick grill right outside Big Murgie's den -- it was great.

Can't remember our building number (13, maybe?)-- it was next to the parking garage and had an unobstructed marsh view.

We ordered Thansgiving dinners from the resort -- went to see the turkeys frying. Jeff, the chef, was friendly and informative. Saw Shadow and B'Lou Crabbe. Weather was good. Spent a couple of afternoons at the beach and the pool with the kids.

We all a great time and will definitly go again.

We had a dedicated 2 br #3122 for the Dec 10 & 11. We had a completely unobstructed view of the marsh and it was obvious that they had cut down some trees so the room could have this view. Others in the same building had trees in front of the balcony.
