HH Kids Discover Club

What type of activities do they have at the HH Discover Club. We are new members and are thinking about HH in October or November. Kids 10 & 6.

The only info I have is from the weekly schedule that I got last week. It has a little blurb about the Disney Discovery Club. The programs include orienteering, biking, crabbing and beach/marsh exploration. For kids 3-6 they also have activities like Beautiful Butterflies. There are sing-alongs, storytelling, crafts, etc.

On the regular schedule we had two campfires (with s'mores), Japanese fish printing, Longview Arts and "Crabs", Beachside Trail Ride, Birdhouse crafts, Sweet Goodnights (bedtime stories), Unbirthday Party, Shadow's Tales, Magic demo, Kids Night Out (includes pizza, $20 for Members) and a Jr. Golf Clinic.

The website has five activities listed: Murggie's Marsh Adventure (3-6 & 7-12), Beautiful Butterflies (3-6), Unbirthday Party (3-6 & 7-12), Cel Painting (5+) and Creative Chefs (5+). When we there in February, my kids 7 & 3 didn't have a chance to try these, but did do the gyotaku. That is fun as well. We hope to do more this September. Good luck with your planning.

We will be there November 6-10 with my dh and two sons 5 and 9. The only activities I know of are the ones posted on the web site. I am curious too about the different activities and costs if applicable.

Maybe I'll see you there. I hope there are other families there the same week as us. I was afraid I was choosing an off time to go but that week is a short week for NJ school kids.
