... can a ressie be made? Is it really busy at HHI on Easter?

April 2006 school vacation starts with Easter weekend and we would love to make a trip to HHI for the break.

I am concerned that I won't be able to get a room at this time with a 7-month booking window.

Any HHI owners want to trade your 11-month window with my BCV 11-month window?

I believe you have a pretty good chance for Easter week as long as you book at the 7 month and book a 2 bedroom. The really tough time to get in is during June, July & Aug.

The point for Easter are a bargain compared to the other resorts.

Thanks for the info. Our plan is for a 1-bedroom, but the difference of the 1 to 2-bed is 30 points, so if we HAVE to get a 2-bedroom we will!

We just did this past Easter (Mar 26 to April 1) and I booked the 1BR at the 7 month window day by day without a problem. I think Easter 2006 is mid-April, so maybe the demand will increase as the dates are more desirable than this year. After I booked at the 7 month window, the Disney VISA ran a special so consequently the resort was full during our stay. A 1BR is harder to get as the HH resort has fewer of them (most are in the Main Lodge building).

PS - they also cater an Easter dinner at the resort - dropped off to your room if you happen to be there on Easter Sunday.

I know that the two major school districts in North Carolina have their spring breaks in March next year- not connected to Easter. So I know that is one less family competing for a Spring Break Ressie.
