HH activities on Easter Sunday

Are there any special activities on Easter Sunday at HH that would make it worthwhile to have to arrive on a Saturday and to pre-register for?

Currently have GV reservations for arrival on Easter Sunday. Now, I'm considering adding a cash reservation for Saturday if it's worthwhile.

Hi!

Here's what they did this past Easter at HH. Egg hunt in the morning (divided into age groups) with a bag of treats for all participants. A Bunny Hop Sweet Walk at the beach house pool. I think there was face painting but we didn't do that. From what I recall we didn't have to preregister for any of the Easter activities, but I could be mistaking.

I think there was supposed to be a campfire that night too...but it started pouring out at around 7 p.m. and rather than cancel it entirely and let the CM's go home for Easter night, they held an impromtu session of Goofy Bingo.

One more thing... When we arrived on Saturday, all of the towels in the room were done up like bunnies. Very cute, though it slowed housekeeping down a whole bunch. So don't know if they will do it again.

It was really a special touch for the kids.

There is also Easter egg dying on Saturday afternoon--I believe you need to sign-up ahead for that, but not for anything else. It is old-fashioned egg dying with real eggs, dye, and things to decorate the eggs with. There is a small fee for the activity. I know that two years ago they couldn't accomodate all the kids who wanted to participate, so last year they just kept rotating kids (and adults) in and out during the allotted time and I think everyone who wanted to do it got a chance. You take the eggs back to your villa with you. They use plastic eggs for the hunt on Easter morning. DVC-HH has several nice activities for the Easter holiday.
