HH @ 7 month window for July?!?

Impossible? Next use year i have enough points left over for us to get a studio for 2 nighst at HH. (We're just a 5 hour drive away.) Anyone think it si possible if I'm flexible with the dates? Or go waitlist?

We got in right at 7 mos, no problem. But we got a 2-bdrm, which I hear there are many more units of than studios. But go for it. Give them a call.

It might work if you're flexible with your dates. July 4th would be a stretch I would think for a studio (with it being a holiday and not many studios to begin with).

We got five nights in a studio for the later part of July at the 7-month mark for this July, so I know it can happen! I would have them check the whole month and see how it looks and grab whatever you can.

We got it last year at 7 months , but had to get 2bd(most # at resort) and you will have to be very flexible. I have reservations for 6/22 and 6/24 that I made on Monday, but we had to waitlist for the 23rd. Sun-thurs are extremely popular as fri/sat are really high(%more than other DVC).

If you're flexible, you might get it but definitely count on being on the wait list. You might consider combining that with a weekend stay on cash or even renting the points and staying on cash over the weekend.

We managed to snag a studio for 4th of July week. But that was right at the 7 month mark.

We were there last July! We booked a 2BR and Studio for Sun - Frid at the 7 month window. I'm hoping to try again for Summer 2005.

We were able to get a studio at 7 months out for last
July 5-10th. It was in the main Lodge building.
Loved it!
We are going back this June 4-11th.

Thanks all. So it woudl be wise to at least equest to be near the main lodge or pool? (Is there only one pool there?)

Well if you definitely have your heart sent on a Studio..odds are you will be near the Lodge.

The pool at the resort is in the middle of the resort with the Lodge at one end. It's really not that big to walk to the pool no matter where you are. Personally, I don't care to be at one of the units overlooking the pool as it can get pretty noisy at times....of course when my kids were younger they contributed their share of the noise

Except for those first 2 building that face the marina..I think I would happy to be anywhere at the resort...

I got a studio at 7 months for last July and could have had two nights, but there was only one left, I think, at the time I booked. We went on the wait list for a one bedroom later, and it never came through. Good luck!
