These cases are
gorgeous, has anyone ordered them? Would love feedback, best pricing you've found etc. TIA!

We just bought 2 sets of the Heys XCase. Each set had a 30" 4x4 and 26" 4x4, and cost us $114 per set. One set was the stainless steel color and the other was black. Yes, we got a great deal! (They were selling the luggage each piece at HBC for $129 for the 26" and $139 for the 30".) We bought the 2 sets at Costco in Marysville, Washington, the first week of January when we did some cross-border shopping.
They are very nice, but durable?? We'll have to use them to give you a verdict on their duability. The real test will be when we use them in March to Hong Kong/Macao/Phuket, May to Las Vegas, and then July to Southern California.
Will keep my eye out for them at the Bay! Thanks!I don't have the xcase but did get the 20" 4wd.
We bought them for a adults only trip and fit a weeks worth of stuff into both of them.
The 4wd drive has 4 wheels on the bottom that swivel so it's very easy to get in and around the airport and was even easier to pull down the aisle in the plane.
It is also expandable which makes it nice for the return home.
We bought at the Bay for $99.
Okay... DH wants me to post again. From his perspective:
I think the Heys products are overrated. Compared to the "cheaper" or plain looking luggage you can get on the market today, I regret spending the money on the Heys sets. Apparently DW wanted trendy, and did not think about long term quality!
That's all from the "man of the house"... otherwise known as the jet setter![]()
p.s. do you really have 4 dogs and 2 cats? What breeds?
We have a really large collection of Heys suitcases (Curzer2's), in addition to two bright red original xcase's.
While I loved the shiny new car exterior at first, and we NEVER checked the xcase per the Heys warning - they scratch *very* easily. In fact, DH has noted that sometimes if he's running through a terminal to catch a flight, and the xcase topples a little, it's caused the entire bottom corners to lose paint and turn white. I might have to post a pic to show what I mean, not sure if that makes sense.
In any case, the other problem we're having is the bottom support on BOTH xcases has either come loose or fallen off. Per Heys, this is a "common" problem - and if we choose to spend the money to ship them to Mississauga, they can likely fix it while they are under warranty
Wow. That doesn't sound good. But is the XCase the same as the Cruzer2? I did some research on the luggage and they seem to be 2 different models. But despite that they are different models, they're probably made of the same exterior and would be susceptible to the same damage. Now that's disappointing to hear.
Winners almost always has a few Xcases. I'm not 100% sure of the price...about $45 - $50. They also have some other Heys products.
I bought a couple of the kids Disney xCases for the children as carry-ons. I hope they hold up!
