HEY!! You DL people!! A pinbag question.

I need a new pinbag, and historically, the DL ones have been WAY nicer than the WDW ones. What does the latest large DL pinbag look like? I hope it has a castle on it?

There are currently 3 large pin bags available at DLR. Two of them are standard 5 page large bags ($38) and the other is a new 3 ring binder style ($48) with removable pages (the pages are the same construction as a standard bags pages). The two large pin bags have either a Mickey Pin Trader logo (Disneyland) or a 2002 with Mickey on them (there are NO DCA logo bags) and the binder style has the Mickey Pin Trader logo (Disneyland) as well. They also have the small backpacks with the MPTL (Disneyland).

If any new bags have been released since December, I am sure that Barbara will let you know.

BTW I am meeting Sharon at DLR next month, when are YOU coming to my lair..err...Kingdom??

I thank thee for thy most informative report on the status of pin bags at Disneyland! I shall now have to give it some thought before I make my choice. I was hoping for a 2003 bag with a little more pizazz though...perhaps a castle with the crest of the Boa Brigade over the main entrance. In the window of the tallest turret I picture thee, wearing a boa and blowing kisses to pin traders the world over!

And alas, thy Queen hast no plans to travel to the distant land of Anaheim. I hope thou art planning a joyous pinmeet in honor of fellow Connecticut trader Sharon and her family...perhaps she will act as my trader-by-proxy for this royal event!

I am sure that they will come out with a 2003 bag (when the 2002's run out). But I doubt that it will have The Royal Pain in the...err... Royal Boa crest thingy and it will certainly not have Me wearing a boa on it (they can't afford me). Although since I will be on the Disney Creative Design Team I will be lobbying for a Villain bag with ME on it!!!

So, What is the Disney Creative Design Team? Since there is already a Disney pinbag with villains on it, how about a bag with 4 castles on it...DL, WDW, DLP and TDL...beautyful!!!

The Disney Creative Design Team (DCDT), sorry, but your clearance level is not high enough for you to know (If I told you, a little Mouse In Black (MIB) would come to your house and do the flashy thing on you)! So please don't ask. Four castles..hmm..Cinderella's, Cinderella's, Sleeping Beauty's and Snow White's??

The pin bag with Villains on it did not include ME, and if it ain't Blue, then it ain't Coue (That needs some work).

Perhaps the "Queen of Pooh" will have some good news for you on Thursday!

OK, I have a bone to pick with someone....

The castle at DLP is called Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant..ie Sleeping Beauty Castle. What is up with that? Why does she get double billing? Was her movie nominated for Best Picture? NO! Did her movie take place in France? NO! I think we should start a campaign to have the name changed...

It should be called Le Château de la Belle et le Bête!

So, until the name is changed, I do NOT want that castle on the pinbag..

And BTW, as it is about 20 degrees here in CT, it would be very unwise for anyone (man or mouse) to "do the flashy thing"!!

Engr-Chas- If you helped put in the BRIGHT RED Exit signs in the Peter Pan ride. I'm very outraged that a "Dark ride" would be ruined by those 5 blazing exit signs that light up the night ride over london showing the minitures,BAD BAD Show!! That was always the show I wanted to brake down on,and sit in there over London for weeks!! Walts spinning!!
