Hey whatch doing this weekend?

I am about to jump in the shower and put some comfy clothes for the day. Oh Yes I am staying home today, not going any where! I am working in my office today, I've taken everything over to the accountant yesterday for my company. Today I will file all of 2008 paper's...ugh, glad that is behind me,, I have a nice system that will things so much better for when next year tax time rolls around..

Going to make some homemade soup today, do some cleaning. maybe put in a good movie. Looking forward to a productive day!

Let's see, here's my day:

Woke up, put 3 little candy boxes and the Madagascar 2 DVD on the kitchen table for little VDay presents for the kids. They liked the DVD and haven't even asked about the candy yet. Now we are just vegging, but soon we'll be heading off to my son's basketball game at 11 and then my daughter's basketball game at 1.

This evening, I bought popcorn and we'll do a family movie night with Madagascar 2. None of us have seen it, so it should be a fun, low key Vday.

Just realized you said "weekend" not "what are you doing today".

Hmmm..tomorrow is church. Haven't planned beyond that. Monday is a school holiday, haven't planned that far yet either.

Today we're going to walk 2 1/2 miles (each way) to CVS, so my wife can buy new mascara. (Exciting day, eh?)

Tomorrow is church in the morning, but no Chalice Circle in the evening, so it'll be a pretty quiet day. Probably just food shopping.

Going to a black tie thing tonight but I'm going to try to hit the gym this morning and possibly some housework before I start getting ready.

Not a very exciting day here.
Woke up. gave DS5 his Vday present
Made heart shaped eggs for DH (we will exchange cards later since he hasn't bought me one yet.lol)
played a family game of Mario kart
now I'm going to take a shower, put away some laundry , then go grocery shopping

No romantic dinner for us tonight. DS5 has a wrestling tournament tommorrow(630am weight in)

This weekend, my best friend is coming in to visit. She should be here in just over an hour. We're going to go to the movies, go bowling, give each other make overs, basically pretend we're kids again (we've been friends since we were 4, so it's not too difficult). We're also going to be doggie sitting for my dog. I am staying in my parent's house because my entire family, except me, left for Israel last night to go to my cousin's wedding. I couldnt' go since I have class and an exam this week, so my parents asked if I could stay with the dog. It means an hour commute without traffic to class though, but I love my pup, so it's ok.

Its a major shopping weekend for us- we are going to Costco to stock up, then to Justice to buy some summer clothes for my daughter and then I have to buy things to fill 18 themed baskets at our chinese auction- one from each class. Each kid donates 3.00 and then I shop for baskets from each class!
I also want to stop off and buy myself a new cell phone- I hatethe one I have now so I am hoping for a nice touch screen one!
