HEY -What the heck happened to my Post Count?

I am not one of those 'post count' kinda people - trying to get a huge post count, etc...
A long time ago, after an outage I lost about 250 on my post count. The other day I noticed that my post count was well over 570 and had thought 'wow - if the other 250 were on there it would higher than I ever expected" - now it is down to 350 something!! EEK - why does this happen?? I really don't care a whole lot if I have 1 post or a million posts showing - just wondering why it happens?

The boards went down for mainenance and when they returned a few people had lost some posts. Dan Murphy lost something like 13,000.

I just noticed that I lost a bunch also!! I worked so hard this sumer to get to the 1000 number and now I have lost around 300 posts.

It was nice of Alex to try and cover for me. . . but the thruth is, I sold all the missing posts on the black market in exhange for cheap whiskey, Canadian Sudafed, and a bootleg copy of Shep Sings All Your Favorite Polkas!! . . .

I didn't know this about Shep! The things you learn on the dis! I bet Simba, Cali, Whisk, and Melody were his backup singers.
