Hey peeps,

First post here :cool1:

Just wanting some information on how Florida is in June? I'm looking to go around 25th of June for a week - does anyone have any information on the school times? (like will it be busy?) also I heard its very hot and humid so I'm prepared for that!!

I've been before in December but never in the summer, I was kind of hoping June is before the schools all start to pour into the theme parks! Ideally wanted to go to Universal only though.

Also anyone know of good, cheap, no hidden extra car rental companies? flying to Sanford and looking for a Grand Cherokee or similiar for a week.

Thanks guys,
US020.

Hi Welcome to DISboards.
Can't help a great deal with that time of year but it will be hot and it will be busy, its middlle of US school hols. Be prepared and you will be fine. Usually US school hols are June and July go back early to mid August.

Car rental I use these 3 all with no problems, there are more but I like all these with their all inclusive pricing. Main option is gold/platinum which gives you extra drivers and your 1st tank of gas, something we have alwayspaid for but with rising cost of adding it you need to compare.

Hi and welcome
Never been in June but im sure someone will see this and tell you exactly what to expect!
Car hire I have used www.yescarhire.com and found we priced them up it was a lot cheaper than usrentacar but it worth getting a quote from everyone as they do vary a lot from car to car

Thanks for the welcoming and replies :)

Thanks for the websites, been all around to find the cheapest deal and I think I've got one :)

Looking to get unviersal tickets, as I said, what would be best purchase here or buy over there?

Also if anyone could comment on June time aswell (i.e; wait lines in universal parks etc). Thanks.

Hey

If you're only looking at Universal, it may be worth looking at staying on-site and making use of the front of the line access your room key provides. Will make crowds that bit more bearable! Have fun. :thumbsup2

I was there the second fortnight of june last year.

Every other time ive been is the first fortnight in july.

Disney was just as busy as usual, but universal was dead. We did both parks in one day and got on absolutley everything we wanted to without waiting more than 30mins for anything.
