"The Notebook" - my Dad has Alzheimers and it was all I could do to finish watching it.

"Stepmom" - I saw it at the theater with my DD and her fiance, just a couple of months before their wedding. I sat there sobbing and they were handing me tissues and patting my shoulder.

"Stella" - it's an older one, with Bette Midler - I cry every time at the end

While I absolutely love this movie and the messages it sends, it gets me every time ...

I've not seen it but I've heard Losing Isaah is a real tear jerker.

I can't think of others right now, but I remember one movie on TV when I was a kid (could be 20 years ago)about a boy that was sick with something and he had to have his stomach pumped on daily or something like that. I seem to think his name was Adam...does this ring a bell with anyone? I have often thought about that movie, but for the life of me can't remember anything else about it. I don't know if it was a movie, movie or a TV movie.

There was a movie and I cannot remember the name where the young boy was dying and his young friends were determined to save him. They concocted herb drinks for him and he seemed to be getting better until one day they added a new herb and he was allergic to it (or something along those lines). I cannot remember the name but it too was a tear jerker ...

So many of my favorite movies have been listed- Brian's Song, Life is Beautiful, Terms of Endearment, etc. I usually have an idea that I will cry through a movie, but one caught me unaware and hit me from behind. That was Pay It Forward. I had not heard of the movie and a friend brought it along on a bus trip from Pittsburgh to Toronto. Wow! Did that bus get quiet all of a sudden! We all had to pass the Kleenex around.
