I was noticing & wondering the same thing Bruce. Merrill-Lynch (I think) upgraded earning estimates (based on ABC & radio performance) today...

Looks like Mikey's catching some air...

No positive rumors I’ve heard. Given the way the market has come back during the same period I suspect it’s nothing but mutual funds and other blind stock purchases. Diller and General Electric are making noises again about acquisitions so maybe some of the run up is another batch of take-over speculation.

And don’t worry about these high stock prices either. Earnings will be out soon.

I guess I'll just have to accept the 'rising tide' theory and believe that Merrill-Lynch's analyst has that much of a following.
