For you folks that keep an eye on the Apple Store regularly, Have you seen any of the Pink 8Gb Nano's come through there? I am beginning to think I am out of luck, and should just go with a different color.

Why not order a silver one (or really, any color they have available) and then order a skin or case in pink? I just ordered a case from www.handhelditems.com for DD's new silver ipod. It comes in two pieces and snaps over it, so it really covers the true color. I think I paid $10 or $15 with shipping. I also bought a skin there for my ipod, they have really great stuff.

It is great! She loves the purple color and the little rhinestones around the screen. It also comes with a cord that you can attach to the bottom of the case, so it can be worn around the neck.

FWIW, I kept looking for a few weeks hoping for a pink Nano with no luck. I ended up buying new. Perhaps pink is a very popular color. I considered getting another color, but DD is all about the pink (like her Mom), so I spent a bit more to get the "right" color................P
