Can you let me know the names of any Camera stores in Newark.
Are they on the main drag with Klondilkes, etc,?

I'm looking for a bag, maybe Sling type and I've been to C-City and Ritz at the mall to see what they have before I buy online and they don't have the sling type.

You would want Cameras Etc., it is right on Main Street. If you go into Newark off of Rt. 72 north and make a left at the US Post Office towards downtown Newark, it is not too far up on the left. There is parking in the rear, but try to go a little earlier in the day. The lot seems to always be pretty full.

Here is thier info:

Cameras Etc.
165 East Main St.
Newark, DE 19711

fax (302) 453-9575

Hey...I know this post was for ndelaware, but I'm from Hockessin :wave2:
And Cameras Etc. is the best around!! Just wanted to say hi!!

hey I'm not from there but i went with husband when he took one of his decorative painting classes there ... does that count?:rotfl2: ummm Durham bbq and spiced shrimp and i went to a cute little city ( Chesapeake City maybe?) and conquered my fear of heights ( not much choice when you drive across that stinking bridge)

Chesapeake City is 5 miles down the road from me jann. It is in Maryland though. Delaware is not very big. LOL

It might not be very big, but darn it does take a long time to drive from my parent's house in Newark to Trap Pond State Park.. *grin* (of course I have to drive along the long side of the state. ;)

That is a great little town. That's where DH proposed to me, but that bridge is something else.
I used to live in Middletown about 5 minutes from there, but now I'm a little further north. (Of course, in DE...I'm still close!)

It's A Small World after............I mean Small State.
Chesapeake City is a very quaint little city. we hit there a few times a year, hit the shops and finish up with Ice Cream on the canal.
Kids love it there.
Taproom for Crabs & crab soup....good time.

I broke down on that bridge many years ago, and had coast back down backwards, luckily it was off peak.Oh boy.....

We live In Middletown, 12yrs now, what a boom town.
We're away from the hustle & bustle though, up by 13 & 896 near Bogeys.

Spend our weekends in Earlville Md.

Gonna hopefully hit Camera Etc on the way home today.

Thank you again.
