Hey Mom, Check out my new Spider-Man move! (Last day & Final Thoughts - 1/10)

We ate at the Coral Reef last year and loved it!!! To be able to watch all the fish and divers in the tank is an awesome experience.

Today was Cooper's first day of school. I did fine. I knew I had to be strong for him because he wasn't sure about what to think about it. Well, he was excited until his teacher tried to take him to class and leave us behind. He screamed bloody murder. Cooper actually screamed "Mom, how could you" to me as we all walked away. I couldn't believe it!

However, he jumped into the car this afternoon and told me his day was so awesome. Hopefully, I'll be on here more as soon as things settle down at school.

I'm uploading pics to PB right now to try to get an update in tonight.

I could just see him saying that as well.. glad he had a good first day..

Both Chase and Zach have also said they enjoyed their new school. We were very concerned with Chase, but so far he seems to be doing well. One of the football coaches seem to be taking a liking to him...

I'm getting nailed with Options right now... long story.. but you know me.. It is all good!!!!

Oh I'm sorry to hear that Cooper's first day at school started off on rocky ground. But, it sure sounds like it ended on a high note.

When I left off, we had decided to skip Illumonations and head over to Kidani to move into our room for the week. We got there and noticed immediately that our room was exactly 2 loors below our villa from last year. We did a quick check of the room to make sure everything was in order before we moved anything in. It was just as wonderful as we remembered it!

Very homey! We love this resort!

My reflections on our day at Epcot...I ended up carrying EVERYTHING!!!! Bryan made the mistake of not getting the bag out of the truck like I had suggested. I wish we would have been able to get back to the resort earlier so that we could have stayed for the evening in Epcot, but that could not have been helped due to the room not being ready till 4.

Tomorrow...SWW at DHS.

Ooo, what a gorgeous room! Weird and I are thinking about renting DVC points for our Disneymoon and we'd probably stay AKV. I don't know much about it just yet, but seeing from your pics, I'm sure we'd be pleased with anything related to AKV!

Kidani and AKV in general are awesome.. great resort...
It is such a great feeling when you are first walking in.. it just screams "Welcome Home"!!!

Oh my goodness, what a beautiful resort room. I love the furniture...especially the table. Just gorgeous.

Beautiful room! I agree that it just looks so warm & homey! I love that line of red tiles in the bathroom--very pretty! :goodvibes

Aww! Kids are so funny.

I love those pics of Kidani! It's getting me SO excited for AKV in December!

The room is beautiful!

That's pretty funny about Cooper shouting that at you as you left him at school. Hope you didn't cry too much. (I remember that first child/first day......) Glad he seemed to forget being upset with you and had an awesome day.

OMG!!!! This is my first time logging on to the Disboards since the 11th. I so thought things had calmed down a bit, but I was so wrong. Keeping my fingers crossed that I can come back and talk to all of you some more tomorrow because I am just whipped right now. We had Sam's Open House tonight. She had nothing but wonderful things to say about him. Bryan and I both really like his teacher, so we are hopeful that Sam will have a wonderful year. Cooper, on the other hand, is still crying every day. We are making progress though. He did not have to be released of his death grip to Bryan's truck today. He got out the truck crying, but he walked up the walkway holding his brother's hand.

I had my first heartbreak. Cooper came home on Thursday and told us that he thought some of the boys in his class were mean because they called him "Cooper Pooper." Bryan and I talked to him about what he should do in that situation and proudly reported back on Friday that the boys had their light moved when he told his teacher about the name calling (after he asked them to stop forst though). He said that no one called him names today though, so he was much happier.

Oh, that is so hard when your children are being picked on. As a parent, you want to protect them and be there to fight their battles (or at least I do). So glad that you talked to him and he was able to resolve the issue quickly!

Poor Coop! Zach wanted to go handle up on those kids!!! We had a scare with Z yesterday.. he was in so much pain (lower back along his side) at school, that he actually vomited. Alisa went pick him up, brought him to the doctor and hospital.. thank God everything came back clean.. turns out he told mommy he didn't urinate ALL DAY.. so hopefully he has learned his lesson..

Meanwhile my "easy" options classes are an absolute ZOO!!! With the new law that kids can't get signed out of school until they are 18.. I'm stuck with all kinds of kids.. that don't want to be here..

LIFE IS GOOD...

Take your time on getting back on the Dis. We'll be here.

I am sorry to hear that Cooper is having a hard time. Hopefully, those bullies will leave him alone so he can enjoy school.
