Hey Mom, Check out my new Spider-Man move! (Last day & Final Thoughts - 1/10)

30-40 minutes for Nemo?! I agree, while I like the ride and think it is cute I don't think I'd wait that long for it. Can't wait for more!

So sweet to take cooper to do something fun. Too bad the wait for Nemo was that long. Glad you got to see Turtle Talk, and explore a bit.

DD got a misting fan on our trip. Those things drive me crazy and I always seem to get sprayed by some kid in line that won't stop straying me. It sort of bothers me a bit but not too much after all it was hot ;) and I am sure my kid was spraying others at some point. :sad2:

:goodvibes

WOW!! I can't believe the line to get into Nemo and Friends! You were very smart to enter from the giftshop!! :thumbsup2 YAY for Turtle Talk with Crush!! Always sooo much fun!

Yeah! It's cute ans all. Cooper likes it, but I am not waiting that long for it. Getting ready to update in a bit.

The one thing Bryan and I have always agreed on is that the point of the trip is do stuff that the boys enjoy first. Disney throws a arench in that plan since we have to prepare for certain attractions first due to time constraints. The boys lead us through the parks doing what they want to do. Bryan and I get to what we want later.

They drive me crazy as well. I spent the majority of the day fussing at him for the random spraying of the fan.

I know! It was unbelievable. That was really the only unexpected line we encountered the whole week.

I have been a complete slacker with doing updates lately, so I would like to apologize for that first. Now, it's time to move on with our story.

When I last left off, we had taken a bathroom break at the Seas. The boys wanted to look through the aquariums and my sister wanted to see the manatee feeding.

After we all got back together, we started upstairs looking around at all the aquariums. The boys became fascinated with finiding Crush. They loved the sea turtles. We spent a good half hour up here just staring into the tanks.

We then moved to the area upstair that has the smaller fish in it. Cooper got all excited when Madeline told him that Nemo was in the tank. Cooper took one look at the clown fish in the tank and very sadly told her "That's NOT Nemo."

When she asked why he thought it was not Nemo, he pointed out all the things that were wrong. It was too big, the stripes were wrong, the fins were the same size, etc. We thought it was pretty funny that my three year old son would not accept this, but we eventually got him to accept that this was probably a cousin of Nemo's instread. He stayed and looked at the other fish for a while. He squealed with glee when he saw Bubbles and Gill though.

After we looked around upstairs for quite some time, we made our way back downstairs. Sam wanted to check out the area with all the whales and of course wanted to take his picture in Bruce's mouth.

We eventually catch up with Madeline at the manatee exhibit, she had been there watching them forever. She really likes them, so we stood and did some manatee watching for a bit before heading out the Seas to meet up with STacey and the family.

Upon exiting, we looked at the line for Nemo & Friends. If it was pretty short, we would go ride the clams before leaving. It hadn't gotten any shorter, so it was skipped on this trip. Maybe next year...

Before I move on, I want to point something out. Everyone was saying how smart Cooper was for getting the fans last update. If you would, please note what is in my hands in the pictures above. That's right. I became the carrier of the fans for the day!

What's next on the agenda now?

We didn't have a chance to look at the animals in the tanks from the lower level. My dad was rushing us ... and I admit, I was kind of scared (I have a fear of sharks on top of every other irrational fear I have!). But from your pics, it looks really fun! I just may not go as close to the tank window!

How CUTE that Cooper didn't accept the fact that that was Nemo! Showed how much attention he pays to detail! That's a great thing!

HAHA, the mom is the one always stuck with carrying the kids' things. Matt likes bringing his DS or PSP around, and when he doesn't want it, he gives it to my mom, and she has to find room to stuff it in her bag!

Wow, Cooper IS smart for noticing that they weren't Nemo. That's very bright of him.

Haha, I had a feeling that either you or your DH would end up carrying the mister fan. But it's not that heavy. It looks bulky, but it fit fine in my shoulder bag.

Great update! I love that Cooper was able to tell that wasn't Nemo. He is very smart! Poor baby though, he really did look upset in that one picture! Sorry you didn't get to ride Nemo this trip. :guilty:

Awwwwwwww, I couldn't help but laugh when I saw Cooper's expression in that picture! He really knows Nemo, doesn't he?

Too bad you had to skip Nemo this time...I think we ended up skipping about as many things as we did. It was a strange year...:sad2:

I feel like we could stand there and watch the dolphins in that tank forever.

:rotfl: on the fans---Isn't that how it always works?

Megan--don't feel bad--I haven't even started my TR yet!! Summer has been a lot busier than I expected!! Ok--Cooper is too cute pointing out all of the reason why that fish is NOT Nemo!! That's a VERY observant little boy that you have there!!

LOL, aww, that is too cute Cooper said the clownfish wasn't Nemo! But it was the real Bubbles and Gill? ;)

In all my years, I have never seen a line for the Clamobiles (sp?). I just know I would NEVER wait for that ride. Lol. I do like it but not that much. I've heard horror stories about the wait time. Great update!

Great update! I think it's too funny that a three year old is schooling the rest of you on the "non-Nemo" fish. Ummm, I noticed the fans in your hand. Still think Cooper is a pretty smart kid for choosing the fan though.;)

Got a little behind...all caught up!:thumbsup2

Aww...too bad the line for Nemo was so long! We love that ride but I'm not sure we would wait that long either. But..YAY for Turtle Talk! That's always so much fun!!

That's so cute about Cooper knowing that the clown fish wasn't Nemo!! Cute picture of Sam in Bruce's mouth! We always try to get that shot too!:goodvibes

Stay and explore there one time. It's a nice relaxing part of the day. No need to be scared.

He is very observant of details. The clown fish did not have enough stripes to make him satisfied.

Yep! Mom always ends up carrying everything!

Yeah, sometimes he is too smart for his own good though.

The minute I saw that he bought the fans I knew I would be the one to carry them. Carrying one is fine, carrying two just becomes annoying.
