No word on dh yet. I guess they did a spinal tap but are just waiting for the results. I am talking to his regular Doc who is talking to the ER doc. I am sure dh doesn't know that I have been told to stay home. If I go there I will just be sitting in the ER for hours.

It appears that dh just has a nasty case of strep. Now I need to get in the shower, pick up ds, and try to figure out where dh is in the hospital. Oh well, he is not horribly ill. I am happy.

OK, now on to another dilemma, do I tell the people that are coming for the weekend to stay away? Strep is pretty contagious...

yes, strep is contagious.. they should definitely stay away.. i'm not a doctor but i do play one at work.. i'm a nurse..
