Hey! I just got off the Easter Sunday Wonder Cruise and was wondering if any other teens out there were on it aswell!

Hey! How about a trip report so other teens on upcoming Wonder cruises can see what you thought!! How was your weather; food; Aloft? Excursions?

Hey! The cruise was great! Weather was perfect and Sunny all the time! The Aloft was wonderful too, it was awesome and had plenty of things for teens todo! There were over 300 teens onboard so we all had a blast. Food was great and I only participated in one excursion which was Wild Side for Teens on Castaway Cay and that was alot of fun, but because of the wind we finally were able to dock after a half an hour on Castaway Cay, and I was not able to do the kayaking portion of the excusion but did enjoy snorkeling and biking with the other teens! I definetly recommend it! But the best part of the cruise was Pirate's Night! At dinner all the waiters and waitresses were dressed as pirates and so were the head servers. When we sat down ( I was in Parrot Cay) Our servers gave us complimentary bandanas and menus! Then was the party on deck 9. I was the best Deck Party I have ever been to on Disney ( This was my 5th cruise!) With great music, characters, and alot more it was a blast! But the best part of the night was the fireworks! Set to music the fireworks were definetly the highlight of the night! This was my best cruise yet and I hope that this info helped! princess:

Sorry I meant "It was the best deck party" not "I"

SKMinnie or anyone else who has cruised recently-During the Pirate deck party they taught you a dance to a song kind of like the Macarena used to be-Does anyone know the name of that song?

Hi Mom_rules, in answer to your question during the deck party I remember a few dances they taught us and hope that one of them is the one you mentioned:

1) The Pirate Dance
2) Follow the Leader ( I think it maybe the name of the dance but I know that is what the song was called)
3) Heyyyy Baby, I wanna knooowww would you be my girl? ( Sorry about that, just wanted to explain the song hehe)
4) The chicken dance ( Disney version) " I don't wanna be a chicken, I don't wanna be a turkey, I wanna be a duck, like Donald Duck!"

That's the only ones I can think of at the moment, but if anyone else remembers any more just post them up please!

Thank you!

Thanks for the details Stephie Lynn- my son (15)will be on the 4/24 Wonder and wanted to know what the cruise was like from a teen's view!! Glad you enjoyed!!

Your welcome Macnjac8. I am 14 and hope you ( and whoever else you are traveling with) have a great cruise!

When I cruised the Wonder (Jan 2004) they had a song they used often for the deck parties, I think it was Follow the Leader mentioned above. Anyway, I couldn't understand what they were singing. It sounded sorta like "I love soda" but I thought that was stupid. I always sang it as "I love my sofa" which I thought was better.

I love my sofa, sofa, sofa. I love my sofa!

The song I'm trying to find sounds like they're
singing "Chikita Banana"-sort of like a salsa beat type of
tune.

Mom_rules, I am sorry but I do not remember the name of the song you are looking for but i hope you do find it out!

Thanks, it's one of those things that'll come when you least expect it.
