I have a list called the "Disney Vacation Ultimate Packing List". It is set up in Word in checklist fashion. While it's too extensive and somewhat repetitive, I enjoy using it. I highlight the items I want to pack and check them off when finished! If anyone wants a copy, just let me know and I will e-mail it out.

Me...email me....!

If any one is still interested, I am making activity books (based off Disney's kids online activity pages - color, dot-to-dot, word search, crazy stories, etc - plus pencils/crayons for my nieces to use in the terminal. If you want one or more, just let me know.

I just raising my hand all over the place today :wave2: ! I would love two. I'm planning to be at the terminal at 9:30 or thereabouts. DH and kids are going to join me at about 10:30 or so. Thanks so much for offering, I've been looking for little things here and there for them so this is perfect!

packing - already???? :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

We don't leave for another week :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I feel like we've started just because we got the suitcases out of
storage....that's good for this week.

Don't even think of 'talking' to me next Monday (I must work till around
2 in the afternoon - DH is home - he is the packer anyway) - i really
get cranky when it comes to packing - he is great at it.

Hi,
Not packing until Monday either
Lucy: Not sure we can meet you on Friday. we'll be touring the parks and I know idea where we'll be then, sorry!
David: Glad you can join us on the zip lines, We'll all have to talk about when to leave that day.

Packing list too please!
Wendy

Kathy - Congrats on the upgrade, that is awesome

David - Glad you will be joining us at Los Veranos. Like Wendy said, I guess we will figure out the transportation details before we go.

All We leave for DL next Thursday am. We will definitely try to meet at Whitewater Snacks on Friday, not sure what DH has planned for that day. He is the planner with this trip.

Haven't been on the board in 2 days and boy do I feel lke I missed a lot. This week is going to be a long one for me, I am running a Summer Scrap Camp for kids all week (3 hrs a day) plus I have an all night crop night this Saturday from 7pm to 1 am. A 60 hour work week for me, hopefully it will go fast. I am going to try to start packing on Sunday, which is my only day off (usually I pack the night before - but since I have to work Wednesday night, I don't want to be too stressed and forget something.) I have already started putting stuff to the side that I am taking. The suitcases are already out, as DD just returned Sunday night from DW.

9 days till we leave. This is so cool, we are in single digits now. Yeah.

Debi

It's 11:40pm first performance of Robin Hood went well and so did my final Governors meeting of the year, One more performance tomorrow night and I'll be able to think about our vacation , final preparations and packing.
We leave on Saturday but we are bringing a laptop so we can download photos and hopefully I'll still be able to get on line at least until Wednesday.

LIz I need that packing list please :cool1:

Thanks I'll have more time to type on Thursday
Speak to you all then
lynn

I did some research--Jenny has the packing list:

I bought a skirt and shirt for pirate night. Not exactly "Piratish" but a good effort. DS11 still has nothing (beyond a pirate bandana). Any ideas? DD6 has opted for Tinkerbell as a pirate outfit in her eyes would not be "cute".

Have Disney plans or ball game, will travel!

Kathy – DS has volunteered to take your old stateroom  ….What’s the number for All Season’s travel. Next time I’m booking thru them! :cool1:

Debi, Wendy, Lynn – I solicited some info for the Canopy tour, sounds like taxi’s outside the port gate are $2 pp. If you tell them Pemex station, they’ll know you’re on the canopy tour. :moped: Cab ride is 20 minutes or less to the office. I’m trying to find out if there’s time afterwards to visit one of the hotels.

Macbaby – put us down for one… thanks.

All – Anyone have the Ultimate procrastinator’s packing list? At least we’re doing Disney after the cruise, so I get another week to think about it. :hourglass Hope you pre-cruisers enjoy Disney, we’ll be hitting you up for hints and suggestions. :earsboy:
Dis David

Liz is right, it's Jenny that has the packing list...not sure why I thought Kathy. I think the packing anxiety is getting to me...and we don't even have to get on a plane  so I'm not sure what I'm worried about!

Hello July 30th group, LiserAnn suggested that I check out your thread, boy you have been busy with 87 pages. Sounds like you all are ready to have some fun. Liz, it is great to see another FR cruiser on this cruise. I was surprise to see someone else from Foothill Ranch, CA.

What ages are your kids, we have DD6 and DD3.

SoCal - our daughters are basically the same age. We also spent many years in the OC. Welcome to the thread.

Welcome! My kids are DS7 and DS3 and we used to live in FR also! We moved from there to Murrieta about 5 years ago. Another family cruising with us (they're not on this thread) also moved to Murrieta from FR...but I didn't meet them until I moved out to Murrieta. Small world it is! In fact, there are several of us on this thread that also went to UC Irvine, although we didn't know each other. I'll repost the thread list and if you want you can give me your info to add to it! ;)

littleowensmommy I think that lkohawaii gave you a good idea.If you do want to go to El Cid, go to Castilla section. There are 4 Hotels, go to Castilla. Meet around the bar, it is by the pool. Perhaps if your husband talks to Randi, he can be sent out a little earlier to catch a taxi. Randi is very flexible like me and I am sure that she can arrange something. There are taxis passing by the embarcadero (dock) and they should charge around 12 us per taxi one way. It is easy to get a taxi back to the ship from El Cid. Aprox time to get back: 25 minutes. If you leave by 3.30 you will get to the ship around 4 (maybe 3.40, deppending on the taxi driver, hahaha).
Any other questions please ask.
lkohawaii I am still buying the lottery tickets to see if I can buy that little Hacienda and turn it into a bed and breakfast! hahaha. Have a great week!

Lisa, Mazatlan Frank posted this reply to my El Cid questions. If you guys don't finish up with Randi until 2:00pm it might not be worth it to bother getting a taxi to El Cid since you probably wouldn't arrive until about 2:30pm and we'd have to leave at around 3:30pm to get back to the ship for 4:00pm. Your thoughts....
