I'm exhusted, working those elections are tough....!!5:30 to 8PM... all for 17% of the possible vote....!! These jersey folks just don't get it...!! the last election (Bush vrs "The other Guy"),,,brought out over 85% in the same ward..!! :

What is NJ voting on? Sorry, I only keep up with CA elections....but since my Dad lives in NJ and he'll be here next week, I guess I should be in the "know".

I am familiar with their Governor issues...who couldn't be. Interesting stuff there!

I'm jealous your going to WDW....I'm actually off to the Disney outlet in the next town. I'm making goodie bags for the boys which I'm hoping I can get the cabin steward to sneak into our room before we all get to the room together.

at the Disney outlet - an idea, look for some cheap pins - maybe your
boys could do some 'non serious' trading - my husband got some of the
kids from our last Magic trip interested.....kids don't care about their
value, maybe they have a lanyard too. Just a suggestion.

Have fun in WDW. I am jealous. My DD is also going in a month with her friends from school (kind of a graduation trip). So she will be in WDW and DL in the same month. She gets back on 7/18 and we leave for DL on 7/28. Now how lucky is that. The World and the Land in the same month!!!

They had tons of Disneyland items, but no pins AT ALL!!! Lots of DL tshirts, sweatshirts, a few hats, a tote with DL embroidered on it and coffee mugs. There were a few WDW items, not many. They had nice polos for men with a golfing Mickey on the left chest (you know where the polo horse normally is). Ryan wants to take his best buddy to DL for his 7th bday so I got some items to make goodie bags (as well as for the cruise). I got a pack of erasers that had Mickey, Goofy, Puto and Donald and another pack with the Pooh characters...those were $2 for the pack. I got sticker sheets that have Mickey dressed in the theme that matches the themed areas of DL, .60 for those. I got a Mickey pin (not like the trading pins) that is clear plastic, shaped like a mickey head and you can turn it on and it lights up in different colors, that was a few dollars also. They also had a neat ball ornament that had a picture of the WDW castle and it said Happy Holidays on it, that was $3.50...and since we went to WDW last year, I thought it made a great momento...a year later but it works for me! Just call me goofy.........

As previously noted ,it's the primary for Gov...there was 8 republican guy's and one unopposed Demo..... also some local issues in Atlantic City...which I'm told had become a Black /white issue... : Not being close to any Political issue this election (there was none in Brig....!!) I'm sure your Dad will have more to say,being from North Jersey....It was pointed out to me that New Jersey has the latest( by month) primary in the country ....
Brig is pretty much a "good 'ol boy" community.....which because of all the influance from Phila/NY is slowly losing that home town "flavor"...
Now that the "players" have been chosen (Both Millionares) I would expect a real bombardment on the TV,and also in the mail ,hawking their man....

I live in CA and I don't even know about it How long has it been there Lisa?? I don't think I have been to that Outlet since Trent was a baby--so I am sure they have changed things a lot!! Maybe I'll have to make a trek out that way...we are going to SD later this month, maybe we could come back up the 15.

I know of two Character Warehouses in Southern California:
one around the corner from Disneyland (check out Mousesavers for more information: http://www.mousesavers.com/otherdl.html) and one that comes and goes at the Lake Elsinore Outlets (about 60 minutes southeast of Disneyland).

I just noticed on your thread - ONLY fifty days - I can't believe it

JoAnn: which Paradise Beach tour are your parents taking, morning or
afternoon (in Puerto Vallarta) - we would like to go on the same tour.

We were in Disney Outlets in Orlando - they are great - they also had
a Universal outlet - real cool things for cheap! My husband got alot
of pins at the outlet. Won't have time next week (unless it rains the
entire time like it did last June).

Hi all! I took the kids to King's Island yesterday and about roasted!! I finally told them we had to leave because I was miserable!! They had a great time though.

We went from cold weather to hot weather; no in between weather here!

It's at the Lake Elsinore Outlets and it's seasonal. It's been at that location before and I overheard them talking about other locations but I didn't hear where. Here's the company's website that does the liquidation for Disney:

I was holding out!!!! Actually, like I mentioned in my previous post it's seasonal. It was there at Christmas (same storefront too) and at that time I had signed up to be on their email list. Last week I got an email it was open (with a 10% off coupon) and it will be there through July 17th.

Have you seen any posts about the Dolphin Encounter for kids? I have looked around, but you are much better at digging the info out

Brighton...did you see that post of someone who had one of those Brighton bags? On one side she put a picture of the ship taken from the beach on Castaway Cay and on the other side was a picture of her family taken on the ship...no that's an expensive souvenier!

The only thing I saw about the dolphin enounter is this thread and I'm not sure if it's the encounter she's referencing....

OT-has everyone read that some people from the May 28th cruise caught the flu onboard? I read the wait staff has been REALLY pushing the antibacterial stuff, to a point where some cruisers have been annoyed. That last thing I would want on a cruise is the flu....a cold, but not the flu! UGH!

Reading too many reports - I did notice, from someone posting
this week, stomach flu all over the ship.

Second, seems they changed the entire cruise staff, some being
"let go" - what is going on?

Third, the report from this week is interesting - I've been to Mexico
before and the residents/merchants on the streets really do come after
you to sell their merchandise - people with small children, beware, it
can get quite scary for young ones, the way they approach you.
I know when our kids were smaller, they really hated Nassau, the
straw market, because of the people constantly following you.
Just a 'heads up' for families.

Lucy-I also heard that the food is different; some are speculating it's because we have different supplies on the west with different qualities. I specifically heard that comment related to the "all hands on deck" cheese platter. People rave about it from the Caribbean and several people had it this time and said it wasn't as good as in the past. I do know the ricotta cheese you buy on the east (specifically in NJ) is MUCH different than the ricotta I buy here (the eastern ricotta is better-and I'm talking the grocery store kind, not the ethnic deli store kind). Interesting, isn't it?

So where do I go for some great deals on Brighton???? DH bought me a small purse/wallet for Mother's Day a year ago and I love it!!! It's an all in one thing.
