Did you check your cabin # online...just to make sure it's right?[/QUOTE]

Hi Lisa,

Yep, we are in 2610.

About the spa reservations--well that's just weird then :confused3 I have no idea why one of us would have access and not the other.

I have booked everything I could think of for now--even booked High Tea--have always wanted to do a tea, but haven't gotten around to it. Also booked an excursion in Cabo--some hotel/beach deal--the name escapes me now.

Thanks for the Pirate info, will have to check it out. pirate:

Are you feeling better?

Talk to you later,

Liz

Kathy-if we're lucky enough to get PLA rotation then the character breakfast is on Friday? We have main dining so isn't the it early, like 6am or something crazy? I know it's based upon what seating you having, I was just wondering. I booked our Palo brunch on that day, which I guess should be OK because we are not used to eating breakfast until about 8am or so. What days do the other rotations have their characer breakfast? TIA

Lisa,

ALP rotation has the character breakfast on Sunday
LAP has it on Monday
PLA has it on Friday

(all sea days following first Animator's Palate evening)

For main seating your character breakfast is at 8:15 am and at 9:45 am for late seating.

I'm starting to think that the shows are going to be on the same schedule as on the Eastern Carribean itinerary since that sea/port schedule is the same as ours. We'll just have to wait for the 28 May group to let us know.

I also checked with DCL regarding whether we'd be docked or tendered at each port. Here's the scoop:

We'll be docked in Puerto Vallarta (8:00 am-9:45 pm)
We'll also be docked in Mazatlan (8:00 am-8:00 pm)
We'll be tendered in Cabo (7:30 am-3:30 pm)

Kathy

I was able to go back in and make our spa ressies, FINALLY! I also changed our brunch from Friday to Monday. I thought with a character bfast at 8:15, we won't be in mood to enjoy all the Palo's has to offer at 11am.

Thanks for the port info also....we're such a great group! :flower3:

Wow, those port times have improved Kathy. When we booked we were leaving each port by about 5pm! Mexico at night could be really fun! Thx for sharing!! :cool1:

Kathy there's someting wrong with these rotations I think it's the first one I think it should be APL otherwise L comes on day 2 for two rotations.
Thanks so much for the info on times for the rotations etc. :flower:

Lynn,

Thanks for catching my typo. That rotation is indeed APL. The later port times are nice. I think we'll take a stroll after dinner in Puerto Vallarta before what looks to be a sail away deck party. We'll be at Palo when we sail out of Mazatlan.

What are you all thinking about doing regarding dressing up for Pirate's Night? Our course my DS6 is excited about wearing a pirate costume. DH has no problem wearing one either. (He dressed up as Mr. Incredible at DS's 6th birthday party) Do you plan to dress up for dinner? Then what? The Deck Party doesn't start until 9:45 pm. I'd feel silly walking around Puerto Vallarta dressed in Pirate garb and it seems like a pain to dress for dinner, then change, then redress for the deck party. We missed the deck party (which was a tropical theme) on our cruise last summer. The kids just couldn't stay awake (OK, OK, DH and I couldn't stay awake) but I really want to make it this year.

Kathy

Well, the kids will dress up for sure, either Pirate, Capt Hook or Peter pan...whatever they want. For me and DH I think I'll order hats for us and whatever else I can see on the websites that is cute. I don't think we'll dress up fully though because like you said Kathy, who wants to go and change back and forth type of thing, seems like a waste of precious time. Maybe I'll find pirate themed tshirts for us to wear, I just don't want to be in full garb cuz I ain't walkin' around PV that way, that much is for sure!

If we get PLA it will be a pirate day for us because we're doing the pirate sail, so that should be great fun for the kids! pirate:

I know a lot of you already have plans for Puerto Vallarta, but for those of you who don't or only have morning plans, check out Splash Water Park:

http://www.splashvallarta.com/index_eng.html

It is supposed to be a great water park. Clean and safe. The site lists Dolphin swims, but every one I have talked to say they don't have them set up as of yet. We are looking at doing this after our scheduled morning excursion. It is located about 20 minutes north of the port.

This sounds like a fun place to go after our canopy tour I was going to go to a beach but this looka good.
Thanks lynn

Happy Mother's Day...!! :sunny:
Boy, these Hall Mark holiday's come around fast..... :Pinkbounc

We had Guests today... One Son ,wife,2 male red head dynamoes, and of course ...the "Favorite
Daughter " with some :cheer2:  of her family ....JOANN :love2:

The 2 male red heads (Keenan and Trevor) come, full of energy,50,000 baseballs flying all over the place....!!
somebody should cut their feed.....!! :rotfl2:

Darling Daughter helped us pick our shore stuff, nothing exciting, mostly beach time.... :teeth: We tryed to con the Son and Daughter in law to sign up...but no go this time :sad2:
I'm disappointed with the Beach trips... no nude beaches....! :rolleyes1

Hey! It's been quiet here on our thread! I had to retreive us from the bottom of the second page of the cruise meets!! I got my DL DVD the other day...did anyone else get theirs?

How was everyone's mother's day? We had a nice day...went to brunch with my family and my MIL and mom.

Alright, just wanted to say "hi" :wave2: ....where is everyone?!?!

Sounds like you had a nice M.D. Lisa! I got a manicure/pedicure while DH took the kids swimming at our hotel. We had dinner at the baseball park club before the baseball game. Beautiful day, beautiful weather! :sunny:

Can you believe the Magic sets sail west on Saturday? I wish I were on that two week cruise!!! (That would mean that school is over!!). We only have 12 more days with students!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I got our Palo ressies made for Monday night (at sea). I registered two of the three children in the club. DS11 registration is so messed up. The ressies show his B-day correct and so does the initial date on the club opening page. But, when you get to the page to print with the final ressies, his birthday is wrong!!! I called DCL and they said that they had the correct dates, but for some reason that one page is wrong! I have to wait until they correct it. We have the dolphin encounter for the kids (me as an observer), but that is it for excursions. I think we are going to see how it goes. There's nothing else that really appeals to me for the $$.

Soon the May 28th group will be giving us trip reports! You think we are excited now!!!! :cool1:  :cool1:

I was speechless and had no reply (you don't know how unusual that
is for Lucy!!! :rotfl2: ) when I read about the "nude beaches" from Bill -
what a 'card'!!!!!

I've been kindof upset too, everyone talking about shore excursions, and
we have NO plans, I hope we are not making a mistake by waiting, but
at this point, nothing appeals to me. I really want to wait until the
DISers report back on shore excursions and hope it is not too late.

We also made our PALO ressies...I'm more excited about that than shore
excursions - told 'ya eating was very important to me :cool1:

Mother's Day was OK, my wonderful husband gave me a casual dress to
wear to dinner......I love that he buys my clothing. :cheer2:

Our lives are so busy right now, but I do have time to check this thread a couple times a day - you guys are so important to me. 19 more school days for my 7th grader - let's hope he makes it! My university is finished - I worked commencement on Saturday, it was a beautiful day - Andre Reed (former Buffalo Bill) finally received his degree at our university on Saturday!

keep in touch - Lucy :grouphug:

Boy ,I hope so.... I hope they are a lousy team....!! :teeth:

I mean like ,they only have 5 players....!! :jester: all over 70 ....!!
with no gloves ......!:cheer2: Maybe....maybe then the Phillies could beat them...

everytime I turn them on, 1 run lead,8th inning... bases loaded, no outs, and they fail to score anything...!! :badpc: they then give up 3/4 runs to lose...!!
I think they should ALL go to Arizona and become "super stars"... :rotfl:

Have a nice day.... :wave2:

The Reds are in Philly Thurs.- Sun. The Reds absolutely STINK! It is so sad. They blow more leads than Carters has little pills (oops! dated myself there!)!
But, I will be watching them faithfully...... Some people just live for pain!! :confused3

My next trips to see them we will see the Indians (Battle for Ohio), Nationals, Pirates and Houston. Basically, loss, loss, loss, get the point? pirate:

I'm with you Albill on the lead blowing thing! We have Danny "Blow the Save" Graves! He absolutely makes me want to explode every time he comes in in the 9th!!! :badpc:

ah, Bill, the Phillies - LAST place in their division - better watch it -
Reds MAY just beat them! (or your local tee-ball team, the way the
Phillies are playing this year!). :rolleyes1
I don't really follow any team but I love going to the ball park.
OH MY GOSH, two more days and they leave for the Panama Canal - taking
"our" ship out west. I'm starting to read some of their posts - they
ARE excited - I don't blame them.

We need to get the link and watch it sail by Two Palms!!! I need that fix.

Terrible week............I am about to have a "break down"!!! Summer can't come soon enough. I took the day off today as we have a water leak in the house. Always something (Rosanna Danna theory!!)!! :rolleyes1

Lucy.........we have our "towns back" now don't we? It's great! It takes 10 minutes less to get to the mall. :cool1:

Hope you all have a great rest of the week!

The group we're sailing with is going to have dinner at Acapulco's restaurant in San Pedro so we can watch the Magic sail by on May 28th. They have a patio that is right on the water and you see the cruise ships cruise by....and it's really CLOSE! So, that will be a nice way to get all of us really excited. I'll try to post pictures!!
