Hey! July 30th, 2005 cruise to Mexico DISfriends!

It was FREEZING today and tomorrow is supposed to be worse! Yikes!

"The eagle has landed!"..........Tara and BF have arrived in Germany, they've chosen their new apartment (it's right near the ad agency) and they're sleeping right now. It's a 6 hour time difference. Things went pretty good today except for the language barrier. She sounded really good when she called me! So good news all around!

Sorry about the cold, LuLu, I guess it was just too perfect down in WDW! Hang in there AND DON'T GO OUTSIDE TOMORROW!!!

We were back to school after all the excitement today and it was actually nice, BUT I'M REALLY TIRED TODAY! Next week, the four of us are off to WDW for the Half Marathon (I really don't want to do it!) Everyone else will probably finish over an hour before me (so it's really pointless!) The only thing is............I WANT THE DISNEY T-SHIRT THAT SAYS "I finished!"

had to take Tyler to school and my head hurts SO MUCH after going outside
I'm SO SICK of lying around
I believe the temp is below zero this morning
OH, yea, this is SO EASY....coming from 89 degree to below zero!
I did see Florida is having a freeze also - doesn't help me feel better.

Jenny is still in Las Vegas?

if Jenny hit it big in Vegas? Can't believe her school has off for two weeks, but she is already half way thru her school year! We don't end the 2nd quarter until the middle of January.

JoAnn - are you going into any of the parks - IF so, please, if you have time, eat at Yak & Yeti - it was superb!

We did get a 3-day pass (I have to save my energy for the parks!)...........What's so great about Y&Y??

I was thinking to go to that park (It's near the registration - WWS).........I'm not sure if we'll do EPCOT b/c of all the walking...........when does Jen return?

Tomorrow Bob takes down Christmas decorations - guess I must sit on the sofa and tell him what to do
Kidding - he does everything - puts up the decorations, takes down the decorations....I think I might volunteer to sweep and dust, what do you think?

Great trip, but poor Mark was sick the whole time! He was such a trooper for me in Tempe and did all the IU gatherings, but as soon as the game was over on NYE he went straight to bed....9:30!!! I did go out to Old Towne Scottsdale a little and shopped. Beautiful jewelry. I bought a necklace and earrings that had inlaid native Arizona stones. Our resort was fabulous! It was overlooking the mountains, had 10 pools, & a golf course! Every night they had fires burning out on the patio fireplaces and it was amazing.

Vegas was kind of quiet. Most big names were on vacation since NY was over. I wanted to see Danny Gans, but no luck. We did an air tour over the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon. That was a great trip! I went back to the NY NY dueling piano bar which is a blast! I had a massage, but other than that I didn't do too much! Mark has a new girlfriend. I need to send you her picture!

Now, I have 60 days to WDW and have gained 15 pounds. My goal is to lose it before our trip ......and I am on the wagon!!!

Next weekend is our kids' big Chicago trip......no margaritas for me! Anyone taking bets????

Yes, you are right JoAnn...........Lucy's birthday is coming!

Poor Bob is busy cleaning up Christmas decorations...but think of ME! I'm cleaning the oven while I write to you all.....this is not an easy task

Hey all, I think I'm sick, I'm supposed to go to my Holiday Staff party but I've been sleeping all day........... Yes, Tara's blog is fun, it's cool to see her pics and reflections.........lucky her............we are visiting in March with Pops..............

Nothing like children............Anyway, I think I had something last night slept all day and night and I felt much better today. Now, I have to go to Jess's FH banquet (so instead of getting ready I'm checking my DISposts!) I missed my staff party but I think resting was the best plan! Haven't heard from Tara today, hopefully, that is good news!
