Hey! July 30th, 2005 cruise to Mexico DISfriends!

I love track and field and Paula Radcliffe is the darling of British running so I was cheering her on with my nose pressed up against the TV.
Keith says they can't hear me but hey it makes me feel good.

The last 2 weeks have been hell here something really nasty happened at work and I had to involve my union etc. I have never had to do that in my whole career before, it was a member of staff's husband who started to write really horrid stuff about me to our school governors!!!
As if we don't have enough to contend with with the kids and their parents.

Still it appears to have been sorted out, although I think he's getting away with blue murder, but I've been advised to not rock the boat!!

There is good news here Keith's boss has had a sudden change of heart and has now agreed all holiday so we will be doing the Panama canal and we also have the week at christmas we wanted too.

BTW the football was excellent there was sucha friendly atmosphere and I think I know more about the game now. It wasn't the best game as they couldn't throw much due to the good ole British weather but it was a lot of fun glad I went.

Hope Ken's aches get better soon, Mark hears about his job and we all hear from Lucy and Debi!

You poor thing! That is horrible! Keep your chin up. YOu know you are great at what you do....there's always one in the crowd!

Wow that's alot of good news (the trip part)......sorry about the work part, glad it's fixed! I guess you're never free of it! Ken is fine.........we're par for the course around here! Where are you going for Xmas?

Yes, the play is this coming weekend and we are just praying the weekend will be over SOON.....kids getting sick, we are fed up with lack of help by parents, we just need this whole thing OVER....this week it isn't fun anymore.....I can't tell you how many Advil are taken in a day.....

Going out for dinner with friends.....that will be a change....Bob working his real job tonight. Tyler feeling ill (OMG, he can't get sick THIS WEEK)...

Just to confirm...........Tara and BF are going to Hamburg, Germany next quarter (January to March) and hoping to go to London for second quarter.....................Tracy plans to study in Rome from mid-May to late June...........so we're hoping to visit them at some point next Spring..........hopefully, we'll be able to see our UK friends along the way!

I thought of you, Lynn, when I saw Paula Radcliffe in Time Magazine this week. There was a darling picture of her after the marathon holding her baby. It was a cute shot.

I totally am enamored with Paula Radcliffe.............her training schedule during pregnancy was so amazing...........she was so confident........it was really cool to follow her progress!!

As you all know, Ken's next race is in WDW for the HM, I've told him that.....the HM is his race..........so please track his progress on this one, I'm sure he'll do well (the younger DDs and I will also participate, expect NOTHING from me, but DD20 - Tracy- may surprise us all!!!)............

Congratulations to Jess!! Drexel....great school!

Christmas shopping?? Yep, we have been working on that. Going to be some unusal gifts here. Marshall has ALWAYS wanted to see Wicked, so we are taking a w-end in Januuary, going to Chicago and M&M and myself are going to see Wicked on Friday. THen the whole family is going to see Barry Manilow at the United Center (Chicago Bull's arena) on Sat. That is part of their gifts. We bought the kids a lap top to share since their PC is about seen it's better days. No gifts for Mark and myself. He bought me a new video camera this week and we are going to Key West and Miami Dec. 26-31.

Isn't this Bob and Tyler's big performance weekend????
Break a leg!!!

Marshall and I went tonight to see Seussical the Musical. It was a junior production at our middle school. It was neat to see and the kids I had in class performaning made it especially cool!

Report cards?? We did midterms today!! Our semester ends Dec. 20th!

Where's everyone going Thanksgiving? We are going to Mark's parents on Wed. p.m.-Fri. a.m. Then off to Cincinnati for the rest of the weekend. We can only "do so much time" up there with the MIL/FIL.....

only TWO more performances, our first one being last night, and as bad as rehearsals went this year, the show was absolutely PERFECT last night and kids were having fun on stage, which makes for a GREAT show Tyler was SUPER in his performance last night, it was a VERY proud evening for mom and dad
Our sales are down this year, which is sad because this is a FUN show, with alot of comedy, and BOY do we have comedians in this show

Gotta bake again today (our music associations sells baked goods at the shows) and cook (going to a party AFTER the show tonight)....yep, Lucy was still awake at 1:00 this morning, tonight/tomorrow morning it will be even later, and tonight includes alot of WINE!
Jennster - BARRY MANILOW again....I am SO JEALOUS! you know how he is my favorite...even though he is old! (and so am I )

When again is that marathon? second weekend in January?

Christmas shopping - I'm SO excited about that this year - we are NOT shopping....since we will be in WDW there will be NO major shopping for us - just stocking stuffers for the boys Christmas morning. We have ressies for Mamma Melrose Christmas Eve (our flight has been changed and we are arriving in the afternoon) and on Christmas, LeCellier and Candlelight Processional with Gary Sinese. Have you seen, the Yak and Yeti (Animal Kingdome) have opened, no reservations accepted, only walk-ins.
Have any of you seen pictures of this castle this year at the holidays? It looks beautiful - can't wait to see it.
