I would love to see any show that night (it doesn't have to be MP, if that doesn't work out....)

Well...........Here's the deal. After careful discussion earlier today I think I am going to have to keep my plans flexible for Fri.-Sun. The whole intent of the trip is to definitely see Shea and Yankee Stadiums (since they are the venues to be replaced soon). The problem is weather. I am thinking on attending Shea on Friday, but if it would happen to rain, then I would need to rely on Sat. night's game. I hate (and downright refuse) to go Sunday with the kids. They are so spoiled as our seats (as Bob and Lucy know) are covered in Cincinnati. Shade makes the world of difference! They would never make a day baseball game in the sun. WDW, yes...baseball, no!! Both Friday and Sat. are night games.

Now, I do want to hook up with everyone. So, why don't you guys get tickets on Sat. as planned and we'll make plans to meet and do something that weekend. I am going to have 6 days to hit a show. Seriously, go ahead and get your tickets. We can plan on getting together Sat. or Sun.

Debi.....we woke up once to tire tracks through our yard before where someone took joy rides through all our yards just missing trees, mailboxes, etc. Can you believe people??? Maybe without a mailbox I would quit getting bills and other "junk" mail!!!

Jenny LOL about the mail....try explaining that to the bill collectors, I am sure they'll believe me.

As far as the Mary Poppins tickets, we have heard from Jenny (who wanted 3), JoAnn ( who wanted 7) and the 3 of us. Debi- are you and any of your family still possibly interested in joining us? We booked tickets in the balcony ($60 + tax=$67) and they are still showing availability, but I should know ASAP so that you can get tickets in the same row or 1 row behind. Please let me know, we would love to have you join us. If you decide to not do the show, we are all still planning on hooking up Saturday and also Sunday ( at this point we are planning on staying in the city Sat & Sun night (6/14,15) and leaving on Monday, so we still want to see you sometime. Let me know what you want to do about the tix. Can't wait to see everyone again !!

Mark and I are both getting so excited about this trip. We've really balked at it given all that has been "going on" in our lives, but we will definitely have fun. I honestly doubt you'll see him much (and John), if any. When their Reds are playing, they are all business! That's o.k. though. We can party with or without them!

I met my student teacher for the fall today. A Chicago girl. Seems quite nice and very mature! Hurray! Lynn~she is going to England (Surrey) to finish up her student teaching. She hasn't been placed yet over there. She is so excited to get the opportunity to go to England. Remember my friend Mark who got the teaching job in England? His school burned to the ground two days before he was to start! He got on a plane and came home! He says it was a sign!!

Holy smokes what a weekend.. I mean ....is that JoAnnski a party person or what ....?? Everyone who is anyone was around this weekend...We covered it all... Saturday nite dinner, baby's baptized, allthe beautiful daughters in their finest attair they were driving the young waiters nuts...::upsided food was great, the company was stimulating ...And our girl Tracy planned it all....!!
We enjoyed visiting the "other " Lawalls, who was celebrating Two new babies into the fold.... got to visit with mother Lawall
And then to top it off we got to watch Jessica demonstrate her numourouse skills on the soccer field I mean ,I'm ready for Snoozeville
Of course,the star for the day....KENski was feted like he was royalty And most deserved....50...

It was a communion not a christening by the way..............

Ok, OK, I'm back, whew!! Yes, we had about 20+ girls over last night........we lost today 0-1, the team (and Jess) are in a little slump (she WAS the leading goal scorer in our region but now she's in third place! )It's not that I'm not still proud but since she stopped scoring ....the team has been losing a few two many games .....we THOUGHT we had a championship team............ Anyway, our last regular season game is Thursday and then maybe playoffs next week (I'm a little depressed............ )

Enough about that, HOW ABOUT OUR LITTLE TRAY-TRAY, stopping by??? Is she cute or what? She just came home today for summer, so, of course, our home is full of her "stuff" right now!

Crazy changes at work, just trying to stay OUT of the line of fire......

Where is Lucy??? For that matter, where is everyone??

I didn't hear about the school burning down?! that must have been terible it was a listed building, I'm still up to my eyes in work but I have a weeks break in 13 days time. we had a long weeekend here in the UK this weekend and we went right up to the North of the country to see our friends theya rea young couple with a 8 month old baby, I had a lovely time baby worshipping, now the house is full of dirty washing!!
