you just gave me goosebumps - how cool would that be :Pinkbounc :cool1:

Were there any other big announcements from Disney today? :confused3

We LOVE the cheesecake factory! Is Allie working there?
If I remember correctly, I believe Lynn and Keith are getting in late, something like 11:00. Lynn?

I saw the Wonder today!...from the Berkeley Bridge on I-264. Lucy, I think that your best restaurant vantage point will be from a waterfront restaurant in Old Towne Portsmouth. It will be from quite a distance though. The Wonder is in drydock in a shipyard. It is not a scenic location.

I got braces on my bottom teeth today. My bottom teeth has shifted slightly since I had braces some 25 years ago. My next-door-neighbor is an orthodontist so the price was right. I'll only have to wear them for 3-4 months and then I have a retainer to maintain.

We've got Open House at the kids school tonight. I'm about as excited about it as Jenny and JoAnn are when they have back to school night at their schools.

Well I just got back from the dentist. Since I typed the last paragraph Owen had an emergency dentist appointment. He's determined to knock out his new front teeth. Yesterday he fell off of his bike and today he chipped one of them on our granite counter top.

I've gotta go get ready for Open House.

Debi and Lucy
Our flight is VS017 Deps Lon heathrow 20:30 arrives newark 11:10pm, Lucy we'd love to see you but isn't this past your bedtime :)
Also We may not be the best company as it will be 3am our time!!!! and I'm flying after a full day at work, however we will be up and raring to go on saturday morning as our bodies will think we've had a good lie in.
Only 12 more work days..It seemed so long to wait after your summer reunion and now it's nearly here!!!!

Jenny you know how to turn those sad faces to happy ones right...just pack up the kids and all of you come to the city for a weekend...maybe John would give me some more football advice...
BTW I've had an e mail from your friend

sorry Lucy you also wanted to know our sunday flight 06;50am Newark to Orlando by lunchtime we'll be at Tusker House AK with a fast pass for EE in our hands!!!!!

Maybe we could ALL go to Cheesecake Factory on Saturday night??? If not, I don't care, anything is fine, probably not too crazy expensive, honestly, good NYC pizza can't miss either! As long as we make a big FUSS over our new septarian (is that the correct term?), it will all be worth it! :rotfl:

Yes, Lynn, I'm psyched too! We're so happy to see you two again! :cloud9:

JENNY, WE'LL MISS YOU SO MUCH, BUT WE UNDERSTAND, anytime you can go to Florida, YOU MUST GO! :moped: I guess we'll have to call you all day long!! :smooth:

Anyone notice, I'm not complaining about my job or my kids??? My class is so great (it's why I'm so glad to be a teacher!)

We will be down in Rockville, MD this weekend for a soccer tournament. Jessica is playing in the "WAGS" tournament. This is a huge college showcase and she is playing U19 Cup Flight, very cool. Wish us luck!!! :dance3:

We are also going to St. Joe's vs. Temple girls soccer game on the way down on Friday night.

Debi, PM me your new store address!!

her new store address? :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3
Maybe she doesn't remember it yet :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Ah, Ms. Jenny, girlfriend, Bob and I are staying at the Homewood Suites, or something like that, a suite equals an extra bed girlfriend......get it? :woohoo:

Lynn - I just got told by 'Mr. Bob' that I AM staying up to see Lynn and Keith....it will be a pleasure....the time with you guys will go so quickly.

JoAnn - I believe the Cheesecake Factory is on Staten Island? Am I correct Debs? We gotta pick another place in the City - fun, Debs, and somewhere where we can be loud and stay a very long time....LOUD? This gang? :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao:

Cheesecake Factory is actually in New Jersey, so I wasn't sure if you wanted to hike there from the city on Saturday night. Alex just started working there. We may want to choose someplace in the city or if you want to go to Peter Lugers in Brooklyn (it's a little pricey, but excellent food) I would have to see if Micco could get us ressies now. Just let me know. Alex knows some good places to eat in the city (we don't go out in the city much, Micco and I).

JoAnn - I am glad you are enjoying your class this year, makes up for those bad years.

Lynn - British Airways????

Lucy - Maybe I'll have to take you to the airport with me Friday night, just to keep you up. Captain Nemo could be passed out by then. :cloud9:

Jenny - We will definitely miss you.

I am heading down to AC Saturday night to see Elton John (thanks JoAnn - you were the one who told me about it) and really looking forward to it.

Weather has turned cold here in NY, 60s today and cloudy, we had a lot of rain last night.

Debi

"my Allie" Friday night, Debs.

about 11:30 arrival - maybe you and BOB could go....i'll be passed out by then too - Oh, Lynn, just stop by the hotel and wake me up and say "hi" :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

We are heading to the Wonder this weekend....get it? Wonder - VA?
I can't wait to see 'her' again.

Debbie It's Virgin Atlantic ...(no wise comments please!)
We're easy about eating but would love to see NYC all lit up so somewhere in the city would be good but it should be Bill's choice right!

Ok, Ok, thanks for responding to all my questions!!!! It sounds like NYC will be more convenient, so Debi, where are we going, anywhere is great for us, make those ressies, (I've never been to Brooklyn!) :woohoo: Also, it's time to plan our itinerary......what are we doing, where are we going???? :moped: Dad is easy, he'll go for anything! :smokin:

Thx for the address, FINALLY!

Jenny, we will miss you soooooooooooo much!! :guilty:

I guess we'll never again be in one place at one time............unless.............EVERYONE GOES ON THE MED CRUISE NEXT SUMMER!!!

Med? we'll talk

SO, it is 9:35 and Lucy is still awake
We will be leaving for VA at 4 AM tomorrow morning
I must still pack all my 'beauty' products - it takes SO many when you
are this old - ONE COMMENT and I'm not coming to NY!
Tyler still at the high school football game and of course he wore
everything to the game that he needs to pack, so i must do laundry
tonight too.

Who's gonna miss me? :confused3 :confused3 :lmao: :lmao:

NYC ~ I guess it's not in the cards for me. :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: Two weekends flying? Not unless I marry Donald Trump or Bill Gates (EEEEEWWWW! :sad2: ). I have to admit, it is KILLING ME. I would love to see all of you (no offense guys; I miss you all too), but I am particularly sad about not seeing Lynn and Keith!!! I will miss seeing them AND the frog shirt!!!! :thumbsup2 I guess my alternative will be King's Island with the kids for Fear Fest. What a payoff :rolleyes1

I have a weekend at home, finally! I have a lot on my plate to try to "catch up". I need this weekend. The week will be a rush. End of the quarter (yes, I am 1/4 of the way finished girls!!!) and grades have to be filed by Tuesday 10/17 at 8 a.m. However, I leave work at noon Friday and don't return to work until Tuesday 8 a.m. from our trip, so that is a priority. There is the usual Cub Scouts, piano lessons, football practice, association discussion meeting, etc. And, now John's school "block" is planning a spirit week including tailgating on Thursday night prior to his game. Here is one of my rare opportunities to participate in something at the junior high school. So, all packing must be done on Wednesday... Five of us going three different ways next weekend.....

Lynn I hope you can give my friend Mark some good advice. He is really excited about the opportunity to teach in the UK. Great kid and very mature for his age.

Debi I would love to see your new store sometime. I bet it is awesome! Mark and I want you and Nemo to definitely come to the Bengals/Jets game next year. We have two tickets (M&M's) that you can use. Right now, there aren't any tickets out there otherwise. They don't argue about missing a game. They like not going!!! Will row 24 in the south end zone work? We get a little crazy, but have fun there and you don't sit during the game, so get your workouts in!! :rotfl2: We have a fun tailgating crew. THey accept "outsiders"!!! :rotfl:

JoAnn I like my class, but the "Little Lucy"s are killing me!!! :rotfl: Good kids, but full of energy! They must be busy, busy, busy, or I pay dearly!!!!!! :joker: So, has Jess thought about Indiana for soccer? We have one of the top programs in the country and the men's program has won something like 6 national titles. THe women's program is fairly new, but successful! John's godmother has a sister who was a student athletic board member at Indiana a few years ago. Her area was the soccer program. THe IU coach (now retired) got her a job after college working for the WORLD CUP!! She traveled the world and lived in Switzerland. SHe is now working for Coke in Atlanta doing promotional work in soccer and still travels the world!! She goes to every World Cup! WHat an opportunity for a young single girl!!!

Lucy Get off your duff and go see Lynn at the airport!!! What's one night? Who else is going to keep JoAnn from running into the plate glass windows???? :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Kathy is in WDW right now, correct??? I cannot believe I will miss her by so little. We looked into changing flights and going earlier in the day, but it would negate our "great deal" and cost way too much!

Mark changed our ressies next weekend to return to WDW on Sunday. We go to WDW Friday night and stay at BCV. Saturday evening we'll go to Tampa and meet up with our friends for dinner and the game Sunday. There we are staying at the Hyatt on the Bay where the team and media will be. We are now returning to WDW Sunday after the game (everyone else is flying home that night) and staying at SSR. Both nights were dictated by vacancies. I would prefer BCV or BWV, but it will be nice to investigate Bob and Lucy's "home" that they bought and haven't seen or been to!!! :rotfl2: :lmao:

Happy weekend! :woohoo: :woohoo:

:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

OK, Jenny, what was the "plate glass window" remark about? :Pinkbounc :goodvibes I just heard about the Indiana program from another girl who played with Jessica last year. So......get me the coach's name and I'll have Jess contact her/him?......sounds like a road trip!!! :cool1:

We just checked out some teams last night and now we are rained out in Maryland, waiting to hear about tomorrow's games....... popcorn::

Have a nice trip, Luvy!!! :moped: and Kathy!

My first quarter ends early in November so you're way ahead of us!! :stir:

Lynn & Keith are almost in America!!!!!! :wave2:

GL with store, DEbs, sorry I missed your call, I was at the college game! :hourglass Let's plan our weekend, tell us what to do!!!!! :yay:  :thumbsup2 :cool1:

we don't do quarter but our autumn break is halfway through our first term of which there are 3 so i guess that's called a sixth!!!!
Only 10 more workdays, one more weekend...we're going to be on the right side of the pond soon....I like this football fighting talk, but I need to be careful I'm playing my NY hosts again this week after beating Micco last week I might have to find a hotel room if I beat Debi!! :rotfl2:

Lucy have a great trip
Kathy tell us about WDW, Jenny and Kathy you know that there is a DVC/AP preview of Nemo right are you there for that? I'm really hoping they do soft openings when we are there it's official opening is the week we leave.

Okay Debi I'm going to bed winning but you have a WR and a defensive unit still to play so I guess by the time I wake up you'll have clinched it, maybe it'll make up for the Jets Loss, now you really are impressed that I know that right!

OMG
Guess what we saw today:
DISNEY WONDER IN DRYDOCK
We are in Williamsburg for the weekend - that's another story (drove
into a nor'easter - pouring rain, flooding, high winds - let's just say,
yesterday was a complete washout)....BUT, today
Bob drove to Norfolk and we saw "her" - "she" looked beautiful, even though there were cranes everywhere and she was partly out of the water.
I know this won't surprise you but when I first saw her, I SCREAMED -

I enjoyed the "noreaster" as well this weekend, just back from Maryland.........Jess's team won one and lost one........however, ask Daddy-O who won FF this weekend??? :rotfl:

Lucy goes away and you can't chat with each other :confused3 :confused3

Got home around 3:30 (5-1/2 hour drive), ran Tyler to the school (music instructor had practice tonight, even though school was closed)....fell asleep on the sofa for about 30 minutes...and then the darn family was hungry - WELL, MOM told them - find something - I'm tired.
OH, and get this - my house was SO clean (Bry stayed home) - either he paid some friends to clean up or he 'didn't' have a party?!!! I'll find out
tomorrow - I have very, very "nosey" neighbors who tell someone i work with everything we do.....BUT, there were NO police reports waiting at the door!
But a really cool looking book from the Disney Vacation Club.

DID ANYONE SEE THOSE EAGLES!
even Bob and Lucy watched part of the game (the last 2 'innings' as I call it)...but, you know, Bob and I found that it is so much easier watching a football game when you are sitting in the bar during a manager's reception for two hours! Maybe that is why we never understood the darn game. Two hours of free drinks (yes, Ms. Jenny, I actually had TWO glasses of wine last night, and on Saturday night, THREE glasses of wine)......
Oh, my friends, what a disaster of a trip. Our friends drove their car too.
We got to Williamsburg around 9:30 AM, it was pouring rain, and windy, checked into the hotel, and then decided to go to Historic Williamsburg and walk around, even though it was raining. WELL, what a very stupid idea. We got SO wet, through and through. Went in a few shops, then decided to go back to hotel - our friends drove their car into Williamsburg - ah, we 'thought' the "puddle" we drove thru wasn't bad - ah, IT WAS. Their car broke down.
To make a long story short, it should have taken 10 minutes to get to hotel, it took 1 hour, we started, we stopped, we started we stopped. Then it finally died close to the hotel, and Bob walked in the pouring rain to get our car....Fortunately, there are some very nice people in Virginia! (hint-hint, Kathy) - they got their car towed, and a garage fixed it on a Sunday.
BUT, as Bob drove us back to the hotel (Embassy Suites - we love it there),
and we check back in, managment is running around, seems the water is coming into some of the rooms, the lobby (I can't explain to you how hard it was raining)....and everywhere there are buckets - people are being turned away from their reservations....Let's just say, by this time, we could do nothing but laugh, giggle and collapse. It is pouring, windy, car stuck in the pouring rain, must find a garage.....AND THE DARN KIDS WANNA KNOW WHEN WE'LL EAT!!!! We went out to eat (yea, in the rain), and came back and had many drinks before the manager's reception ended (our friend does NOT drink, at least for the past 15 years, and HE even had a drink or two or three). At that point, everything was funny!

THEN, on Sunday, Bob drove to Norfolk and we saw 'our Wonder'!

Hey, Luzy, I did my part! I'm so tired today, I drove back late last night, I'm beat.......we also had TOO MUCH RAIN! :sunny:

Anyway, we're all home today, I can't do anymore w/e road trips for awhile! :happytv:

No worries, we'll be there IN JUST TWO WEEKENDS!!! Hello, Lynn & Keith! Mom and Dad are coming over the next two w/e due to our get-together and my sister-in-law's surprise b-day!! :cool1:

Let's plan our w/e, Debi, Lucy,etc.............my girls are currently planning on being there..........we can't wait!

We miss you, Jen, but I'm sure we'll be seeing you soon! ;)
