We got in late last night around 12:45, all the flights coming into Newark from orlando were backed up, so our 7:15 flight didn't leave until after 9:30. They kept changing the flight times, playing with our heads. It was rather exhausting.
Anyway, the highlight of our trip (outside of seeing Alex, of course) was seeing JoAnn and Ken and family, Bill and Alice and Kathy and Ted and family. Since JoAnn filled you in on our get togethers, I just have to add this. The best part of the trip was dinner Wednesday night, celebrating Micco and Alice's birthday with a surprise birthday cake, and then heading back to SS at Kathy and Ted's and just hanging out with friends. Since they have the youngest kids, I thought it would be better to go hang out by them so they could put the kids to bed. Our girls all went off to the parks and had a great time together (even Briana went and bonded with the girls). Kathy and Ted were the perfect hosts, with champagne, beer and snacks, and Micco and Ted got to smoke their cigars out on the balcony. We felt so comfortable and so at home with friends that I feel like I have known for years. It is hard to believe we have only known each other for about 8 months.
Jenny - I had my layered margarita in Mexico, very good...but I found one even better...Have you ever had the Fiesta Margarita in MGM???
And yes, we are comitted to July
, and will either be staying at BWV or YBC. We are checking into maybe using our points for that stay. Not sure of the dates yet, but will coordinate to make sure we are down there when everyone will be there. Sorry Mark...
Anyway, need to get back to reality and get ready for work. Have a great day all, it is good to be home!!!
