Hey all!

Sorry it's been so long. We got a hit during presidents day week and we were busy busy busy and than the rents came and..well...you know how it goes!

On Valentines day I went skydiving! How awesome?! So instead of celebrating with a boy, I went with some of my best girlfriends down here and we jumped out of a plane at 13500 feet...and i jumped with a beautiful blonde australian man attatched to my back ;-) haha!!

Work has been fun. I've been at Animal Kingdom all week and cannot wait until I get out of there! Not a fan of working at the DAK!

Jenny what dates are you coming again? I get my schedule for not this upcoming week, but the week after tomorrow so I can PM you my schedule. I would love to take you guys out to dinner one night!

Lucy I hope your birthday was a good one!

Lynn Do you know I think of you several times a day! All the british folks tell there kids to "Give Mickey and Minnie a cuddle" how adorable!?! And is everyone in England named Olivia or Oliver...because thats all i've come to conclude!

I hope everyone else is well...I'd write more but I'm exhausted and its only 11!! oy!!

Hopefully Ill get an update in sooner!!

Love and kisses to all!!

Allie gator: how I enjoy your reports - they are so exciting to me.....
I love hearing what is going on in your life - somehow makes our lives
quite boring....let's see, Alex is jumping out of planes, hugging children
daily, living in Florida, WOW, today i'm going grocery shopping and doing laundry....some comparison.

Last night we had a fundraiser for the music association - quite a tiring night, especially for Bob who is president of our music association. I was not a happy camper, came home early, after some woman asked me if I was
Tyler's grandmother! :sad2: :furious:   :(
(OK, who in this group is laughing right now!!!!)

I AM happy for all of you getting out of this cold weather....I'm at the 'end of my rope' with freezing temperatures.

give Minnie a cuddle.....HOW ADORABLE - I just love those Brits!!

Lucy ~ Don't despair....the same thing happened to my dad and I was only a few DAYS OLD!! Moreover, he was only 35!!! Personally I think you look MARVELOUS!!! :thumbsup2

Allie ~ We will arrive at WDW next Saturday (March 11)!!!! We are flying into Tampa (good rates!) and driving. We probably won't be at WDW until early evening because of grocery shopping, etc. We will be there until March 19th (Sunday). We will be gone on Tues. and Wed. to Sarasota. Other than that, we are not on a schedule. (OH except Chef Mickey for Marshall's birthday party on Sat. 18th)........I wonder if Minnie will be there???? :confused3 I will send you my cell in a pm. Your mom sent me yours back in Jan., but I'll send it in the pm to verify.

JoAnn ~ I have had about 8 student teachers over the years. They are a lot of work. The good ones are rare, average ones usually, but I have had some doozies!! One guy was 6'4" weighed about 250 and was terrible. He told me he'd be the first to get a job because he was a MAN and could COACH! Ticked me off. :sad2: I never got a call for a recommendation and he got a job in one of the wealthiest areas of Indy.......... :furious:

Debi ~ Did you know your daughter was going to jump before?? ;) I would have been a wreck if so.

ooooooooooooooo, Lucy, sorry about that!!! The guy MUST need glasses!! :lmao:

Jenny, have a great trip, where are you staying?? Sounds like a blast! I have a student this year, whose Granny took him to like 5 ballparks last summer on the West Coast (I think they were playing the Phillies) and he wrote a story about it with unbelievable details. He isn't a great writer so this story was impressive (I can see him becoming a sportswriter one day!) Anyway, he's going to some baseball "world" event in Arizona next week. Whenever he talks about it, I think of you guys. Have fun at spring training!
(This ST experience is way overrated!)

Thx Kathy, I'll see what I can do!

GREAT TO HEAR FROM YOU, ALI, but enough about the skydiving! Ken did that twice, the second time the shoot wouldn't open. Then he met me later that day, and the rest is history.....................
I've been reading my Passporter book and planning for our trips this year. I'm so psyched (and so proud of you!) :woohoo:

Tracy & I went down and watched the America Cup - International Gymnastic meet at Temple University today. It was cool! We got the student discount! (She used to compete before her catastrophic knee injury in her junior year of high school. ) It was fun to do that with her!

Loving the Passporter book, I never read it before, it has awesome tips!! :cheer2:

Hey Allie, Don't you Americans cuddle then?
When we first got together Keith always gave me Kusses and Kiddles every night on the phone while I was away at college.
Everyone whose in the world during March and April make sure you give Minnie a cuddle from Keith and I
I'm trying to work on him for Easter we could do the accommodation we have timeshare points and I have an annual pass so we'd only need tickets for him but the airfare at that time is prohibitive, I'll keep checking for a bargain But I think this may be a dream that doesn't come true.... I can't really complain I'd never been to Disney before Dec 2002 and 3 years later I've been 4 times!!! (plus Euro Disney twice!!)

JoAnn The World Baseball event is quite a thing. However, some of the owners are upset (and I can see why) because it is right in the middle of spring training. They represent their "own" countries, so it takes even more players from camp. What happens if a really good player gets major hurt? :confused3

We are staying at BWV. I absolutely love that place!! :sunny:

I'd like to meet your student. Morever his Granny!!! That's my kind of woman! :thumbsup2 What great memories! Make sure you tell him to save it because when he is grown, he will not only have fond memories, but a treasure of his grandparent!!

I LOVE the Passporter! I have three WDW editions and two DCL ones!! ;)

you are making me a little jealous about this spring in WDW
I'm just wishing all of you the greatest time.....I realize I was just there
in December, but it still hurts, you know, not just being in the World, but
being with all of you. July seems so far away, but I'm just so excited that it is going to happen..... :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Debs, April 30, we will in the City to see Tarzan - don't know any more details, but if you and Micco are available, we would love to meet you for lunch, but lunch MUST be at Bubba Gump's, since Tyler will be with us.
I would hate being so close and not seeing you....BUT don't make me
get on a subway without you! NO WAY :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Check you PM's - i need some info from you.

Jenny, how can you possibly concentrate this week? I know the week before vacation, my mind is never on work.....i've been to Disney how many times? and still packing is an awful issue for me. Ask Bob. All he asks me to do is pack MY OWN stuff and I still get all freaked out about it. Goodness knows if I would ever fly over the pond......I would need an airplane just for my stuff.

Bob's weekend off and he is at work today, special sales going on. BUT, the good news, he has off tomorrow, when the rest of us are out of the house.
(don't worry gang, I made him lists!). :lmao:

I don't know why, but we are depressing ourselves before any details come out on the Med. We are thinking it MAY not be in OUR price range. How sad, when we planned 2007 together. It depresses us, believe me. :sad2: :scared1: :sad1: :sad1: :sad1:

10 AM - I better get to work.......don't worry, "I'll be back"
Cuddles to all :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

you are making me a little jealous about this spring in WDW

That's how I feel about your July trip!

I don't know why, but we are depressing ourselves before any details come out on the Med. We are thinking it MAY not be in OUR price range. How sad, when we planned 2007 together. It depresses us, believe me. :sad2: :scared1: :sad1: :sad1: :sad1:

Lucy, did you waitlist with All Seasons? If you did, have them book a reservation for you (you could hook up with Lynn and/or JoAnn). Did you book another cruise while you were onboard last July? If so you could transfer that reservation to possibly get a 10% discount (I don't know if DCL will give us that discount or not yet). If you book with All Seasons from the DCL waitlist you'll be getting Tier 1 pricing so it will be the lowest price available. The deposit is refundable. If it turns out to be too expensive then cancel, if not then start planning your European vacation! You could also rent out some of your DVC points to help pay for the cruise.

LucySorry you are bored! I am on my fifth load of laundry!! :rolleyes1 Mark stole my laptop because he had a tax return to do for a client. I get nervous when I cannot be at my computer! pirate:

KathyYou guys will have the time of your life on the cruise in '07. What a great experience for your kids! :wizard:

OH NO!! The M & M are SCREAMING at each other! Should I break them up  or see who has the most bruises at the end??? :lmao: Mallory has the worst temper! :furious: She certainly doesn't look like princess: when she's mad. Mark tells her she looks like "The Stepmother"!!! :rotfl2:

Wow, a lot of excitement today!!! Hope the kids are still alive, Jenny! :rotfl2: Have fun packing! My student's dad is taking him next week, his grandmother took him last summer. You should have seen the "dad" note asking permission for him to miss school. It was so cute, and my student was so responsible about getting his missed work. I told him he has to write a summary of his trip to share with us! :woohoo: Did I tell you that I met Pete Rose last September?

Tara and I are gearing up for the Academy Awards........... I can't wait, I love this night!!!!

Hey, don't get depressed, we all have something in common and we can keep planning, eventually we should all meet up again(How about a short 3 or 4 night Wonder trip sometime??) I'm still working on the Med trip, but I'm having trouble. An early booking saves a lot of money but who knows which daughter can make it by then?

I'm really psyched to see Deb and Kathy in April. Also, so psyched for Jenny & Lucy in summer. Really, Lynn..............YOU CAN DO IT!! I'm sure something will turn up on the airfare, don't forget, you two are WORTH IT! You work and you deserve a breakkkk!!! :cloud9:

Cuddles all around to all!! :grouphug: Enjoy AA night all!!! :bitelip:

Ms. Jenny - please tell me you weren't serious - AA night - Academy Award
night? I am also doing loads of laundry...it's Sunday, what else is new.
Then tonight everything gets put away and then it is time for work again.
The only reason I'll watch the AA tonight is to see the dresses....I don't see
any of the movies.
OH, Bob, Tyler and I enjoyed ourselves at home last night. Bob bought me
the first season of I Love Lucy (I wonder why this is my FAVORITE show?),
and we watched several episodes - it was so much fun. :lmao: :lmao:

Jenny, Bob and I were discussing Mallory yesterday - he knows how much
I would TOTALLY enjoy attending a Princess Breakfast or Tea....I really do
get into that stuff, but I won't go alone. Mallory having a temper, another thing the little princess and I have in common. :furious: :tink: ::MinnieMo

So funny you mention the 3 or 4 day Wonder. Bob and I also are discussing doing the 4 night next year, if the Med can't come thru for us. I can't go longer than a year without being on one of the ships. Castaway Cay is calling (you know, just like the song, Bali Hai is calling......you don't get it, do you?) :sad2:

I made a wonderful dinner for us, two salads that i'm taking to work tomorrow for a luncheon. This "grandma" is feeling very tired right now.

I went grocery shopping for my mom today and went I dropped off her stuff, she was watching her first baseball game of the season - she loves her
Phillies.

We might have to discuss this 3 or 4 day by the BWV pool guys! :thumbsup2

I Love Lucy is one of my very favorite shows!! Anything with Lucille Ball is so good! Another is Andy Griffith. I was so sad when Don Knotts died! He's the best. I have watched the TVLand marathon all weekend and laughed so hard (and have probably seen every episode 10 times)!!!! :teeth:

Maybe the AA thing wasn't in good taste! Sorry! :sad2: Not a good joke. Never been there and admire those who go and work to better themselves!

Academy Awards.......I'll just watch TVLand thank you. :goodvibes Maybe Princess Mallory should watch the AA dresses with "Aunt Lucy" tonight! :lmao:

:bitelip: Whew, it's over, WHAT AN UPSET!! All indications were that BB Mountain was going to bring it home ................. and then................CRASH WINS!! :lmao:

How nuts is that??.........oh well............I guess you HAD to be there..... :teeth:

Anyway, great show, first we had to go watch Jess play soccer and then, home for the OSCARS! I'll admit it, there were Margaritas involved...........but I stayed awake for everything, so much fun!!!

Jenny, it's ok, I totally get your humor (I'm sorry, were you CRACKING yourself up??) Too funny, honestly! I'm so in for Wonder planning by the pool at BW in July! If you can't make it, just be ready for the times and dates!!!!! :grouphug:

Lucy, really, fa get about it!!! It's SOOOOOOOOOOOO not true!!! I just think it was bad timing with the b-day and all............stupid lady!!! :stir:

So tomorrow, Ken, Tara and Tracy, pack and then GO TO MIAMI!!!!!!!!aaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrgggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, HOW UNFAIR IS THAT?? :smooth: (i CAN'T WAIT TO HEAR THE STORIES, THOUGH!) :bitelip:

JoAnn and Debi, We cut our VB reservation by 1 night so we can see you guys! We'll be at SSR on Thursday (We're waitlisted for VWL, BCV and BWV.) We have APs so we're up for anything. We'll fly home around noon on Friday. It makes more sense for us to do it this way, as driving to WDW from VB and back would be silly. We'd love to have dinner with you guys on Thursday evening. We'll have Owen and Amy with us unless "Minnie" wants to babysit. Seriously, I can make a reservation with 'Kids' Night Out' if you guys want to go to the Jellyrolls or Pleasure Island.) Debi, Ted is really looking forward to seeing Micco again.

Sounds great, Kathy!! We fly out in the early evening on Thursday, so we would need to meet for a lunch get together if that works for you guys. I'm not sure what Debbie is doing, DEBBIE what up?? :confused3

Another manic Monday, anyone else!! :guilty:

Ken & the girls leave tomorrow at 5 for Miami, they will be scoping out Tara's new digs should she attend Miami Ad School starting in October.....should all work out.........I think we should agree to visit her sometime next winter........................ :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :rotfl: :cool1: I know Bill's in! :moped: :grouphug:

So Lynn, IN OR OUT??? :woohoo: :wave2: CUDDLES TO ALL!! :p

JoAnn,

I'm going to change our arrival to Wednesday 12 April. We'll be at SSR. I was thinking about this last night before I read your message. It would be a waste to just come WDW for one evening. Arriving on Wednesday will give us more time in the parks. I just went back and found Deb's post about her travel plans for April and she's leaving Thursday evening also. Would Wednesday evening work for dinner with you guys?

Yes, our flight leaves Thursday evening also. We have another couple with us (can't say who - the mouse is lurking). We are staying at All Star Sports. Yes, we are the cheapos, just trying to save a $$.

JoAnn - California Grill is great, we have eaten there. We were there during the fireworks show, and they actually pick a family to "light" the fireworks off. Our family got picked when we were last down with our cousins, and all the kids were taken into a room and flipped a switch to start the show. They felt like they really started the fireworks going, and were made to feel very special. It was very cool! do you know if they have a kids menu (we will need it for 1 child)?

Kathy - How do we get on the wait list for the Med with All Seasons. I am not quite sure if we are doing it yet, but I want to be able to make that decision when the prices come out. Or am I better to book it directly through DCL because of the CM discount.

I don't know about the 4 day cruise, I think it is too short and I would be very upset to leave the ship after 4 days. Plus, I am not sure I want to go to Nassau. Our cousins would like to do a Disney cruise with us next year, but not sure if they would do the Med, so maybe a 4 day would work for us. I would only do it if some of you were doing it. So we will keep that in mind.

Jenny - Have a great time in the World. Definitely get in touch with Alex while you are there, she should have at least 2 days off during the week, and she can spend some time with you guys if you want. I am so excited you will get to see her at work!!!! Give her a hug and kiss for me!!!

Anyway, been busy at work, sales have been picking up. Lots of new stuff coming in for customers to buy!!! Keeps me happy!!!

BTW, we got NO SNOW last week, my sister out in LI got 6", but we got nothing. It started out as snow, but then changed to freezing rain, then rain. And it's supposed to get close to 70 by the w/e. I am ready for spring.

Kisses and Kuddles to all :grouphug:
Have a great day.

Debi

We're so excited to see you guys next month! I hope we can get together for dinner on Wednesday night. Do you think we'll get to see "the mouse"? Regarding the Med cruise for next summer, call Sandie Clifford at All Seasons Travel. I'll pm you with her phone number in case you don't have it. Tell her you sailed with me last summer and that you may already be on the waitlist. Ask her about whether or not you should book with All Seas or through DCL for the CM discount. Ted and I would love to see you and Micco on the May Repo with us.

I just heard that Dana Reeve just died of lung cancer. She was only 44. I feared she wasn't doing well since she hasn't made any public appearances since her diagnosis...very sad.
