do you know if they have a kids menu (we will need it for 1 child)?

Of course, It's Disney World!!! :lmao: Seriously, we took our kids with us on our anniversary to the CG one year. They actually did really well. They had white butcher paper on the table instead of a white tablecloth and gave the kids crayons to write directly on the table!!! I have not been to a restaurant in WDW yet that didn't have at least chicken strips or mac and cheese.

Jenny - Have a great time in the World. Definitely get in touch with Alex while you are there, she should have at least 2 days off during the week, and she can spend some time with you guys if you want. I am so excited you will get to see her at work!!!! Give her a hug and kiss for me!!!
I will definitely check in with Alex and hook up with her. I have her cell number that you gave me in January, so we should be good to go. I absolutely CANNOT WAIT!! It's been a year for us, and that's a long time! We usually go 2-3 times a year, but DL and DCL pretty much took all of our $$ allowance for a while!!! Definitely a cuddle for Alex from anyone who wants to join the "Cuddle Alex Club"!!!!! :grouphug: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

....Alex :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:
I am so hoping Alex will be working a little while this summer when we
are there.....I've never known someone SO FAMOUS!

Jenny - have a FABULOUS time, my friend. I'm really not jealous for you
(well, maybe a teeny-tiny) because you haven't been there in such a
long time. It is wonderful "going home" again. Will you have access to
a computer in Disney, so you can update us? If not, don't forget to tell
us everything when you get home.

Kathy, when I heard about Dana Reeve this morning, I just screamed - what a horrible thing to happen to their son Will. One of my professors knows someone who knows someone and said her life was really rough during
Christopher Reeve's illness. One of my girlfriends used to work for Robert Kennedy Jr., as a nanny, and she said Dana was a wonderful person. (I wish you could meet my friend, she HAS STORIES about the Kennedy's!!!!!!)

OK, JoAnn, someone explained the "grandma" thing to me (or was making this up!) - around here, kids get married at a very young age, so by the time they are my age, they are grandparents (you know, it sounds like bull....but I'll take it!) :lmao: :lmao:

Where is our beautiful little mouse? pixiedust:

I will have my laptop at WDW. Remember, it's prime ticket season! Gotta keep the business going even though I am away! It's really taking off!! I am busy EVERY NIGHT!!!!! I will definitely keep you up to date.... Maybe if you are good, I might send you all a picture of our favorite MOUSE!!!! pixiedust:

:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

but do it quickly, Lucy can ONLY be good for so long! :woohoo: :woohoo:

AND, since you are taking your computer, I want daily updates from Disney, please. :worship:

You all are the BEST!I'm so psyched that Kathy and family is coming on Wednesday!! Whoopee!! I know that Tracy and probably Tara are going to leave early Thursday morning due to school concerns. So, where and when do we want to do dinner and how many? My ressie for CG is Monday night at 7:30pm. When I called I believe the ressies there got worse as the week went on (due to the holiday crowds.) So perhaps, we should pick somewhere else and make our ressie now. Where does everyone want to go, Kathy? Deb? I would be happy to arrange! :cheer2:

Have a blast Jenny and provide updates!!!!! WE WANT TO HEAR EVERYTHING! Say "HI!" to our favorite MOUSE!!!

Now, Lucy, it's about time to call a spade, a spade, THAT LADY WAS AN IDIOT!! Feel better?? :stir:  You so cute and fun, she's so STUPID! Now, faget about it! REMEMBER, WE are the COOL ones [remember when I got blasted for that statement???] :lmao: :rotfl2: :thumbsup2 :goodvibes :teeth:

So Lynne & Keith, WHAT'S YOUR EXCUSE?? :woohoo:

:grouphug: Cuddles all around! :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Lucy~ The more I think about that "lady" (for lack of a better/appropriate word ~ this is a "family board" right?) she obviously has no tact! I think you a doll myself! Not to mention what a "cool" person you are. Not everyone thinks we're cool ;) , but hey! We are cool people.........face it!!! :thumbsup2

I sure wish I could be at WDW in April. I need some more frequent flier miles! I used most of ours for Dallas. Oh well...... Maybe we could talk Debi into coming in July. Kathy ~ can't we sway you just a little???? Kathy is choosing wild horses over us??? :rotfl2: Just kidding Kathy! It's a joke around here because my FIL will drive all over the country to see horses (they have Tennessee Walking horses), but he can't drive here (6 hours) to bring Mark's mom to see her grandkids!! We get so frustrated....... Oh well, remember they are not talking to me anyway! Gets me out of going there for a while!! :cool1:

Bad day yesterday, and I don't see today and tomorrow being any better. If I weren't leaving for WDW Sat....... :furious:

O.k. ~ Lucy can relate, but I don't know if Debi and JoAnn can (Kathy your kids are still too young), but BOYS tell you NOTHING!!! So, I am trying to plan for leaving, paicking, getting my internet orders shipped, doing laundry, etc, etc. I have this all planned out.........yesterday, a teacher pretty much told me that she couldn't take my son on a trip (he was to go with another class on that "zoo trip" that he got sick on)! Except she didn't 'TELL ME' she had my principal do it! Mind you, I have worked with her for 22 years and "THOUGHT" she was my friend. She offered to take him (which I didn't know could be done), but now isn't sure she can. She's worried about him bein comfortable!! The kid is an angel when he is at school. He will sleep at night because he takes meds to sleep. He doesn't say a peep. I HAVEN'T SLEPT ALL NIGHT!! Mark cannot go.....long story. I have our music program that night (like they are going to let me out of that!). The kid has spent all of his life going from place to place with and without us. Heck, he just leaves us on DCL to go to the clubs without any hesitation!! o.k. so where does the "boys don't tell you anything" comes in? After all that, at 3:00 JOhn calls me. "Oh mom, by the way........my basketball banquet is tonight at 6:00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious:

Bet I don't go to bed until midnight tonight!!!! :sunny:

JoAnn, you just tell us when and where for dinner and we'll be there. My kids are pretty well behaved when we go out to dinner and they'e usually angels at WDW so don't worry about them. We are staying at SSR but we'll have a car so we won't be dependent on Disney transportation.

Jenny, have a great vacation. I can relate to the story about your "friend" who can't take John on the zoo trip. I have a "friend" who was going to coach Amy on her soccer team but then set up the weekly team practice right in the middle of her ballet class. She wouldn't move the time by 1/2 hour for me so Amy could make it. Mind you, I had offered to watch her son (for free) 2 days a week this summer so he wouldn't have to go to daycare while she worked. Owen is playing T-Ball so I have to juggle his practice/game schedule also. I can't count on Ted to help out as I never know what time he'll be home and he often has to round on the weekends. Now Amy can't play soccer this Spring.

Lucy, when we lived in Coronado (where Owen and Amy were born) there were no '20-something' moms let alone teenage moms. I was 35 when Owen was born and I never felt that I was any older than the other new moms at Spreckel's Park. Of course there were the trophy wives married to men 25+ years older but they don't count as no one took them seriously. Here in Suffolk, I'm like a senior citizen with kids. Not necessarily in my neighborhood, but as soon as I drive out the gates of 'the Riverfront', I enter the world of 21 year olds with 3 kids and 35-year-old grandmas. For the record, I think you look great! Hey, us 'grandmas' gotta stick together!

Lucy - Sometimes people say the STUPIDEST things. Anyway, most people I know are having kids later in life these days...it's not the 1950s where you sit home all day with your apron on, bearing children, cleaning your house, and making dinner so its nice and hot when your honey comes home from work. NOT. Different world we live in. A friend of mine is turning 48 this year, and his youngest daughter just turned 1. So when she graduates HS, he will be ready for Social Security.

JoAnn and Kathy - We are game for anything for Wednesday night. Lots of places we have never been, but places we have been and we really like are Whispering Canyon Cafe and Ohana. But we are easy and anything works.

Things have been picking up at work, thank God. The weather is supposed to be in the 60s the next few days, so hopefully that will help business too.

Briana has her CYO cheerleading competition this Sunday, she has to be at the gym at an unGodly 5:30 am, we have to be at the arena by 7:30. Then next Saturday is a big competetion for the schools at Fordham University in the Bronx. Supposedly her team is looking pretty good, they have been awful in years past. Well, lets see what happens.

Jenny - All the s**t you have been going through this week will only make WDW more sweet next week. Again, have a great time, and give lots of cuddles to my Allie. :grouphug: I miss her so!!!!

Have a great day all.
Debi

Lucy~ I SO AGREE with Kathy, and more particularly Debi!! Like they both said, most people are waiting. I was 31, 34, and 36 with my kids. I will be eligible for SS when Mallory is just coming out of college! I was so messed up (like I'm not now :confused3 ) during my teens and twenties. It was a blessing from God that I didn't have kids. I would not have been a good mom, not even average. At least now I know better is most areas!!! It's so scary because there are children in M&M's classes at school who I had their moms and dads!!!! :rolleyes1

Debi ~ You're right..........no June Cleavers anymore! Stay at home Moms are a special treasure. I think they are the hardest working people of all! I could not have stayed at home and stayed sane!!! :lmao: Kathy, I ADMIRE YOU!

making me feel so young and and and and, cute :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
(you think Jenny can crack herself up....not even close :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: - this is about my FAVORITE little smilie)

Jenny, Jenny, Jenny, you mean like you are driving the middle schooler to school and he says to you....oh, my lunch account is empty and I owe them money too

Stay at home mom - OMG  NOT for Lucy :sad2: ....they are THE most wonderful human beings on earth and I totally admire them

You know, I could actually join someone in Florida next week, the university is on spring break, hmmmmmm, oh, yea, this would be easy - Bob, dear, I'm going to Disney next week and you can't come :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
No, actually, it is a nice week to be at work, without 'them' (the teachers, of course :woohoo: ).

Deb, Lynn, Kathy - Jenny's bar tab is NOT large enough....hint, hint, hint :drinking:

::MinnieMo ????????? :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

I agree with everyone about everything!

Sorry, Jenny about your colleague, that really stinks, just pack and dwell on Disney. It always seems like something is going on before I go to Disney and then you really reconnect with your dreams, etc. and you'll feel great once your there. One more day.... :cool1: Remember this week's theme, people are stupid! :grouphug:

I was a young mom and I honestly am mad that the girls grew up so quick. Enjoy every second, it's hard but worth it!

Ken & the girls return to tonight, "batten down the hatchets!" :hippie:

Ok, Deb & Kath, which do you want? I'm thinking Ohana b/c it's at the PN, right? It would be nice to eat and then head over to the parks with the kids or whatever. What do you think? How many? I'll make the ressies. What time? Cheerio, Lynn and Keith?! :wave2:

Well, it's time for Survivor.............have a great trip Jenny! :cool1:

I am not sure if I will have time to lurk or post tonight, so GOOD-BYE for now! I will give you periodic updates since my laptop is packed and ready to go. Make sure if there is anything you want me to scope or do (yes, I will eat a Mickey bar for you Lucy!!!! and a margarita for you Debi...should I get a layered one at Mexico?), just let me know. I will definitely try to locate our favorite mouse "in action" and send you a photo opportunity!!!

Ta Ta!!!

Jenny

So jealous, Jenny and family! Have so much fun! WHAT IS A LAYERED MARGARITA?! Definitely, have one of those for Ken & I (remember Ken's 7 margarita night on the ship??) Tee hee. :rotfl:

Thx Kathy, I'll call this weekend! Thx again for coming when we are there. This should be fun! Disney with DISers, DOES IT GET BETTER THAN THAT??

Hey Lynn, how's school? When's your next break? Anytime in April?? :moped:

Lucy, I need alittle fun right now, WHERE ARE YOU??
:confused3 :teeth: :lmao: :rotfl2: :cool1: :thumbsup2

Deb & company, I need a count! Let me know, it looks like Wednesday night, what time do you think? How many? You can PM me if that's best. :wave2:

I wonder where the PPs are?? :rolleyes1

:teeth:Hi Guys!

I am sitting here in the hotel trying to get the kids asleep! Anyone happened to see the commerical about WDW lately where the kids are too excited to sleep (and so are mom and dad)?? Really that is made about M&M!! They are so excited!! As I have said before, it's been a year for us, which is unusual! However, we realized today that it has been almost 1 1/2 years for John. He had to go with his dad last spring break! They were showing EE on TV this morning since many of the schools are out this week. Marshall is just dying to get on it!

JoAnn ~ YOU HAVEN'T HAD A LAYERED MARGARITA???? :confused3 They sell them in the little cantina just across from Mexico. They layer mango, lime, strawberry, and I think Kiwi flavored margaritas in a clear glass. Good stuff!!! I had too many one day following M&M around while they did the Family Fun Kidstops. They told me that I couldn't have a drink at EVERY STOP!!! :lmao: Like I listened to them!!! :rotfl2: You'll have to have one for me in April!!
Today was my ST last day. She got really sick (afterall, elementary school is nothing but a giant petri dish!!!!) :lmao: I sent her home Tuesday with 101 F temperature. She was in bed Tues & Wed. Tried to come at noon Thurs and I sent her home again. I told her not to ruin my WDW trip! Unfortunately, I think she got what M&M had...oops!!! She did come in at lunch today, however she is still weak. Good thing she got this before leaving for Australia next Wed!!! :thumbsup2 The kids wanted to see her obviously before she left, so she did come in and we had a little party. Fun time!

Well, I must retire.....BTW..........I succeeded in leaving ALL of our confirmations at home. Mark wasn't too pleased. BWV, Hotel in Sarasota, airline, and car rental. I did find some stored on my laptop thank goodness. The car was the tricky one, but I did find the ressie!! :hippie: What a way to start the trip!!!

Where's Bait Boy and the lovely Mrs.???????????? :confused3

Lynn I am glad to see you check in now and then! I gave your e-mail to Megan who is headed to teach your way in Surrey County. Hopefully she will contact you. She is a very neat young lady. She has pretty much put herself through school and it is obvious she's a great kid! She appreciates everything in life!

Happy weekend!

:grouphug: cuddles to all!!!!

Hey, Jenny, you're finally home!! I'm so in on the 7 layer margarita situation!!Seriously, I need to hear about EE, I want to go on but I AM a WUSS!! Tell me, that I can handle it.........................................................
MY ST went home crying today, b/c I told her supervisor that she rarely teaches (she had no idea that that was a problem!) Wish me luck!! :furious: :teacher:

Lucy, Debi?? ARE YOU THERE??? I MISS YOU!! :grouphug:

I am planning on hanging out with; torturing the Mr. & Mrs. about their apathetic participation in OUR thread!! It's about time to come back and share.................YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE!!! Right??? :woohoo:

Jo Ann I have an Easter break from Sat 1st until Tuesday 18th April but I can't find any reasonable flights at all!!!
When are you all there?
I would like to surprise Keith with a trip but we can only do it if I can get flights for less than £400 each.

Mallory and I are wide awake!! The boys........DEAD!! JoAnn ~ I read where EE is only 44 in. which means Mallory is riding!! :clown: Treat it like Mark and I did Mission Space........I only needed that ride once!!! EEK! I love roller coasters but that one make me feel yucky all day!!

One layered margarita for JoAnn coming up this evening! :drinking1

cheerio!! and cuddles too! :grouphug:
