Ms. Jenny - you are a TRUE party-girl.

Tyler had his first day of school today, it was awful. Bob and I had the day off, as did most of the world, but I still had to get up to take him to school, poor, poor Lucy. Bob undid the Christmas decorations today, I'm making a turkey dinner (since the Williams' were in Disney on Christmas day!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: ).

When has JT been lately?

Our dates for summer Disney trip are not yet set in stone......Jenny, those are the weeks I like to take vacation also. We WERE going to go in June, but now Bob tells me he can't get off around Father's Day (since he manages the men's department, can't get off around Mother's Day either, since he also manages the women's department). We've got to talk...all we've been discussing is buying more points with DVC....it was an awesome experience.

Lucy
(back to work for me tomorrow)

Well, we're back to work since Monday, it's ridiculous, the kids are exhausted from the holidays! Jenny, when do you go back? Did you get the letters yet? :earseek:

I'm completely beat tonight...........it's going to be a long week! :guilty:

How's things Debi?? How soon do you guys leave?

:goodvibes

We return to school tomorrow. I am kind of ready. I have enjoyed having a full two weeks off and especially having time home between New Years and school. The decorations are down (except the tree ~ Mark's job) and my laundry is caught up for at least one day! I didn't get out of bed until 11 today which is totally unusual for me! The kids actually let me sleep. It's probably catching up with me from the crazy weekend! :rotfl2:

John has his first basketball game tomorrow night, so we'll be off and running again! :moped:

I am sure when I get there tomorrow that my letters will be there JoAnn. That will be a nice treat for the kids! :goodvibes

Where's J.T.?? :confused3 :confused3 Surely the bait shop isn't that busy! :fish: :fish: :fish: :fish:

Well, it's Half time in the Orange Bowl.... And PENN ST. let them good 'ol boy's from FSU back in the game...Stuff like this kill's me....I still think JOPA will pull it out....What the H$#@# ,he beat those "sissy's" in the Big 10....!! :cheer2:

well ,the bait shop has shut down for now.... :confused3 fishing really got lousy fast this Fall... ;) All we can do is dream of warm weather, calm sea's and plenty of bait... :Pinkbounc

And it's back to school all you teacher's....enough party time... :teeth: tote that barge :goodvibes ,lift that bale  blow them minds .....

Good luck this weekend Jenny, first step towards the "big show" :rolleyes1

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:
JOPA did it!!!! ok, I'm not a sports fan at all, but Lucy DID watch the beginning of the game - everyone around here graduated from Penn State so the school does have a place in my heart......well, I guess you could say I watched PART of it....my bedtime is 9:00, you know, but, good grief, I stayed up until 9:45 (got upset when Florida scored, went to bed).....
at least we have winners from central PA, can't get any winners from those
Philly teams (sorry, guys!).

FINALLY, Jenny goes back to work...yes, I believe she had enough time off during this holiday. :cool1:

Where is Debs? :confused3
Where is Kathy? :confused3
Where is Lynn? :confused3
Hello to Ms. Alice
hello to our California girls, if you are still lurking! miss 'ya. :grouphug:

Happy New Year everyone. Ours was very quiet here. Yesterday was back to work. Tomorrow night we are going to see The Lion King in the city (Alex's Christmas present to the family) so we are looking forward to that. Haven't been to see a show in awhile.

Meantime, just getting ready for the drive down to Fla on Sat. JoAnn - Yes, I have done it many times before and swore I would never do it again, but oh well, here I am.

Anyway, have to run to get to work, I am late already. I will try to post again before the w/e.

Debi

Hey all..............what a grueling week (and big letdown after the excitement of the holidays!) :earseek:

Since your kids are well rested, Jenny, maybe they won't be as tired as my students have been this week! :smooth:

HE's alive...............our new nickname...........BAIT MAN......... pirate:

Really, Deb, at least you get to go to Florida (again!) :moped: and then fly home? Safe travels! I hope you can do something fun while you're there! All of our Florida trips are over for a while, AND YOU'RE GOING BACK! I don't need to tell you that I'm alittle jealous! Best wishes to Alex, she has to join the boards and give us updates............... :grouphug:

Hey Lucy, you're such a nice person! I wonder when the next snow storm will be upon us :umbrella: !

Just 3 more months until we're back home (WDW) :hourglass

JoAnn is using my weather knowledge again....ok, here we go.....
(I have NO idea what I'm talking about, as usual) :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1
This month will be pretty dry, I feel, and warmer, looking at the 15 day forecast, but, I "feel in my bones" there will be nasty weather on the
Martin Luther King holiday, only because LUCY has the day off, and Tyler has a makeup day for snow, so I predict he will be home with me.....this is just
'a feeling'. Anyone else? Hey, JT, you and I have the 'love of weather' in common, what is your feeling? :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

Wishing Deb and Alex a very safe trip :moped: :grouphug: Because of Alex (thanks alot) I will never, EVER look at MM the same again (knowing it could be a girl!) ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo My imagination was ruined by this news - even when I was hugging the characters at the Cape May Buffet breakfast (new breakfast for us, very good), I kept thinking that I'm probably not hugging the "REAL" Goofy, it was probably a tall girl.....grrrrrrrrrr :sad2:
(yes, Lucy DOES still believe in her Disney characters).

Another new meal we tried was Spoodles for breakfast - excellent!
I don't really care if anyone cares, but I LOVE to talk Disney food... :mickeybar
Had a :mickeybar my first day and my favorite CS, Yakatori (ate our first AND last meal there) - loved the fact that I could eat the mickey bar without melting all over the place.
Our best meal, was of course, LeCellier. PrimeTime was our biggest disappointment this time....we'll do SciFi this summer. One of our other favorites, for a cheap meal, Earl of Sandwich.....yummy - try the Oriental Salad - awesome.

Deb - what a GREAT gift from Alex. We will be in the City twice in April, one weekend we are coming up with our Show Choir to see Wicked and then the next weekend, my cousin gave us tickets to see Tarzan. One of those times we will be eating at Bubba Gump's, if you are interested in meeting us (these are all dates at the end of the month)....this is Tyler's favorite restaurant.

Yea, yea, I'm going back to work now...... :badpc: :badpc:

I am absolutely jealous Lucy! I have BEGGED to go to see Wicked!!! I got so excited because it is coming to Cincinnati............ON OUR SPRING BREAK TRIP!   So, Mark is getting sent to Dallas for a weekat the end of February. I plan to join him for 3-4 days. I look at their schedules and Wicked is coming....the week AFTER HIS TRIP!! Maybe I am just not suppose to see the darn thing! :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

:rotfl: I guess I have to get tix to Wicked now............it's coming to Philly, I hear!! My birthday's coming up..........so I guess Ken can surprise me!!!

About the MM issue, let's not forget that even though, we really believe........Alex definitely has the personality for this character.......we can deal, Lucy, hang in there! :earsgirl: :earsboy:

Don't forget all, the new name is "BAIT MAN." :rotfl:

So where is Bait Boy ??? :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :fish: :fish: :fish: :fish: He hasn't been around lately...sounds FISHY to me!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: In the words of JoAnn from NYC weekend "I just crack myself up"!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

So, Lucy how's work this week? Still quiet??? :listen: I keep thinking that this weather could be worse! :umbrella: We were having snow showers a while ago. It was coming down hard, like a rainstorm!! Of course, I had gone to the grocery, so I was right in it alll!! :umbrella:

Alex will be the perfect ::MickeyMo or ::MinnieMo . She is so antimated to begin with!! I love talking with her. My concern is..........how is she NOT going to talk?????? :listen: :listen: That would be tough for any of us!!!!! :rotfl2:

Happy weekend everyone!! :grouphug:

Jenny - That will be tough for Alex, since she never seems to shut up according to her sister. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Anyway, last post before we head off tomorrow morning. We got to see The Lion King last night and it was wonderful. It's amazing how these actors not only have to act, but also have to be puppeteers. The costumes were great, and the performance awesome. We had dinner at the Hard Rock before the show. Lucy - We would love to meet you guys at Bubba Gumps in the city in April, just let me know what w/e, if we are not at WDW that w/e, we will join you. That will be fun!

As far as weather goes, Briana is our little weather girl, she is always up on the weather!!! It will be in the 60s on Sunday in Orlando, and 70s the rest of the week. I will take it for 2 days!!!

Also, forgot to tell you about a nice surprise I had the other night. I wanted to get all the Christmas stuff down before I left, and Tuesday night was my only night to do it. Well, Tuesday was a rainy day and Micco was home most of the day, and when I got home I got home from work, everything was down and put away, even the tree. I was so excited, that all I kept saying was thank you, thank you, you don't know how much this means to me. I had a free night and got to sit, have a drink, put my feet up and watch a movie (Polar Express - great movie!) Now how nice is that. Micco and the girls had done it all, I think it's the first time ever.

Well, I will post when I get back...have a great weekend all. Maybe I will get to see the mouse on Sunday! :earsboy: :earsgirl:

Debi

So. now it's gonna be "Bait Boy" :goodvibes that's really funny JoAnn....I'm just wondering how funny it will be ....after I put a live eel in your car, :cool1: or in the bathing suit :Pinkbounc ....HeeHee.... that's gonna be funny :rotfl:
Of course, there's other live "critter's" that could take up residence in your bathtub down here in "sunnyville".... :earsgirl: you might want to check that warm bed before sliding in it....!!! : :confused3

As far as the weather predictions, Bob/Luce... good luck.... when it's 80 degree's with hi humidity... :goodvibes now your cooking...!! :teeth: predictions are pure guesswork.... :rolleyes1 All we can do is endure the next 2 months, :cold: and dream of when that good weather finally shows up...or go to Florida :moped:

Debi/ Micco/Alex... Have a safe trip... How are we to address the MM we meet in the park..?Do we whisper in Her ear :sunny: Old men like me get arrested when we try whisper'n to MM's,or any other "critter's" down in Disney
soooooo, what's the secret....?? :confused3

Hey Bait Boy! Loved it when Penn State won! I was pulling for Joe PA!!! I have so much respect for that guy. (hey, he stuck up for Coach Knight....). He's a perfect example of "classy". High expectations...nothing wrong with that!!

Airplane? I fly so I can drink...!!!!! :drinking1 I think flying and drinking are illegal. I NEVER drive after drinking. I will have to say that I absolutely DO NOT.....hence why we stay a three blocks from the stadiums!!!

Anyway, if we would be fortunate enough to get by Pittsburgh (that's a big IF...not sure about this one..we will have our hands full) we head to Denver. The guys already have it all plotted out. It just so happens that we have a semester records day on Friday, so no students. A perfect day to "skip"! Plus, MLK Day on Monday!! BTW, as I sat and watched the ticker at Micco and Debi's that weekend (John and Mark were at the game in Pittsburgh), I was cheering when we would be ahead and so forth, it was when Debi informed me that Micco was a Steeler fan.....OOPS! :guilty: So, anyway we go, someone on the board gets a winner!!!! :cheer2:

Have a great weekend guys!!!!
:grouphug:

Let me try to correct what might be a misunderstanding..... :teeth: I've got nothing against drinking.... I only thought it would be more practical with all the jumping around you guy's do,to buy a plane....I'm kidding.... :rolleyes1

your doing it the right way....bottom's up.....

just to prove a point about my wonderful forcasting!

quoted from AccuWeather:

Monday, Jan 16 [Details/AccuPOP]
Mostly cloudy with snow possible. Winds from the S at 14 mph.

(didn't I tell 'ya it would snow on MLK day, while I had the day off)!!!! :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

Let me clear up a few things..............

a) I believe the name was "BAIT MAN", but hey, I can do "bait boy" or "BB" if you like............... :wave2:

b)YES, I do crack myself up ............I'm not sure why though.........

c)This past week was he]] and i'm so happy it's friday...... :bitelip:

d)tomorrow is my first weighin since Christmas with WW..........I'm alittle nervous........... :smooth:

Happy travels Micky and family..............Happy Weekend to us all (including BB ) :love1:

All is well here in cold, wet and dreary Southern Virginia. Nothing like Suffolk in the wintertime. Have I mentioned that I can't wait to be back in Sunny and warm Southern California.

Deb, Micco is the best...you are a lucky gal! Ted folded the laundry last night and I was ecstatic. We saw Lion King here in Norfolk right before Christmas and we too were floored by it. What an incredible show! The kids were on the edge of their seats.

I'm adjusting to the fact that we have an additional year in Virginia by booking and rebooking vacations. Our summer is starting to fall into place. I'm just waiting to get confirmed dates for Coronado. The best weekend for us for a Virginia reunion would be 21-23 July. It's a starting point anyway. How would that work for everyone? If that's not good, I'll have more options available after we set our Coronado dates. We will be in at BWV 20-25 August. Debi, will Alex still be there then?

I finally got the Christmas cards in the mail! Hey, quite a few of us have January birthdays don't we? In fact, I think two of you gals share the same birthday.

Speaking of college football, Bait Boy (I love that btw), all the talk in our neck of the woods centers around Marcus Vick and his abhorent conduct at the Gator Bowl. It's all over the news tonight that Virginia Tech has kicked him off the team. Well deserved punishment. His mother lives in a house across the fairway from me. Brother Michael bought it for her after he signed with the Falcons in 2001. I've only met her once in 4 years. They're not very friendly.

Has anyone tried Oprah's Pomegranate Martini recipe yet? They are too good. Let me know if you need the recipe.

Quiet weekend ahead. We have to sign Owen up for baseball and Amy for soccer tomorrow. Ted will be watching the Redskins game tomorrow afternoon.
