Does anyone know when Universal starts allowing booking of tickets/hotels/packages for the following year (specifically, Jan 2026)?

I've been trying to book for May too, but for some reason I can't seem to get to that month! It's very frustrating. Any tips to help would be appreciated. Thanks

Not sure if it makes a difference but we are using a travel agent. She told us that Universal is only booking for 2 night stays (we happened to decide to add a night recently) and 3 day park tickets at this time.

Well, that makes sense. I will check with our travel agent. I have only been booking our trips myself for the past 4 years or so and never run into a problem. I can't even access the page I want.

I asked when I called to book the shuttle for this weekend and the TM I spoke to didn't know. I was just told "soon", but I was also told soon over a month ago.
Universal needs to step up its game. I can purchase Disney World tickets as far out as October 31, 2026.

I'm pretty much checking every other day to see if tickets and other stuff become available. Last time I called to ask (early July) they said sometime in September. I'm hoping it's soon so I can get that part of planning over with.

Part of me is hoping they do not introduce AP access to the park until mid-2026.

I asked Universal about express passes for January this weekend, and all I got was hopefully soon. They been saying that for a few months now.

Tickets have been available through the end of this year for months, so I wonder if the 3 month clock is a new thing? Or if they aren't sure how to handle Epic going forward (which doesn't really make sense since people have been able to buy package tickets for 2026). At any rate, I'm checking almost every day for January!

We bought a package, so we have tickets, but I've been doing the same for express pass for January because those are not available with the package.

I am going to follow this too. I am looking to book a 3-night (3 park day) trip in August 2026 and will likely book hotel to take advantage of some Chase points and buy tickets separately. I assume that if I book Royal Pacific through Chase and then buy tickets separately I would still get whatever Express Pass benefit is available for guests at Royal Pacific at that time?

Perhaps that far out, Epic will be added to Express Pass! (I can dream!)

It's pretty crazy they aren't selling tickets for next year. Disney is offering a a lot of specials on tickets and cruises for the Fall. Maybe things are slow this Fall and that's causing the delay in pricing.

I agree. This is getting very frustrating. I am scheduled to arrive January 4. If it were just me I probably would have cancelled by now and booked a trip with the mouse. My family is really looking forward to this trip and have not yet visited Epic.

I called yesterday to ask if they were making Universal a packages only destination because I was considering canceling and was told that single day should be released sometime between mid October and Mid November.

As a safeguard plan B, I also booked stand alone rooms at WDW and I might make reservations elsewhere too in a completely different place as Plan C so we have options, irksome.

I feel it is very disrespectful to guests, I want to go to see EPIC but confidence in the brand is now quite a bit lower and sinking.

I called and I think option 2 got me to a person to talk about packages maybe, which fit because I wanted a direct answer if they are going to be a 100% package facility.
