Hey all!

First of all....I PMed Hygene99 and she said her signature is just hopeful thinking (Med 2007)! So no definite confirmation yet!

I did start school today, we work 2 more days then the kids return Monday!! I'm really excited for this year to start!

Sorry Leslie & Lisa, we didn't get to know you but on many other cruises the DIS meets weren't as successful as this year.....you have to do what you have to do!! Best wishes with your kids this year at school!!

I'm alittle hyper myself, Kathy and Jenny......what's wrong with that!! Jenny....we are going to the Bengals vs. Eagles game this Friday!!!

My Tracy (DD18) goes to college for the first time on Thursday so I'm feeling the blues....

Hope you and Bob feel better soon, Lucy, don't let the stress of the upcoming school year affect you........it will probably be better than last year b/c you had such a great vacation this summer!!

Jenny - I can't wait for football season to start, I am getting such an itch. Do you do the Fantasy Football? Micco and I signed up this year for the first time, we have no clue what we are doing. LOL. Mark, Mark, Mark, where are you, you can't hide forever.....

Leslie - I am sorry that you didn't introduce yourself to us, we really are a great group of people, some of the people on this thread I know I will be friends with for life. It was truly an awesome experience and the BEST VACATION OF MY LIFE because of the new friends we made that week!!

Alex leaves for school on the 6th, it really hasn't hit me yet, I have been so busy these last 2 weeks at work. She will only be 1/2 hr away, so it is not too bad. The tuition bills have hit me, so I guess that is reality, and boy does that suck.

As far as the no time for oneself, I thought it would get better as my kids got older, but I am sorry to disillusion you guys, it doesn't. I guess owning your own business doesn't help either, working 6 days a week, sometimes 7, I never have time to clean my house anymore. Thank God at least one child drives, I can't wait till Briana drives, live will become a little easier.

I am still bad with the pictures, I am sorry, I just started scrapping some, next week I will go back to Costco to get reprints made for all of you and send them off. I am very bad with the computer and downloading and all that stuff, it's probably just easier to mail. LOL. I think David is the techy in this group. Keep those pictures coming David.

I want to cruise with Lynn and Keith if they want to cruise with us. , hopefully we can all pull this together.

Debi We haven't done Fantasy Football before (I don't think Mark has), but it does sound like fun. We are really excited for football season (since the Reds are cellar dwellers!), but still enjoy baseball games. Next Friday the Bengals play the Colts. Since we live closer to Indy (only 50 miles), we are probably one of the few Bengals families in the area! That will be fun.

JoAnn I just called Mark and said "guess where Joann is going this weekend"? He didn't miss a beat; he knew exactly where you were going. He was excited for you!! He wishes he could go too!

Tonight is night three of Parent Night. We have these at all the schools so that parents can meet teachers and hear about the classroom expectations. Students do not attend. Well, Mallory's was Monday, Marshall's was Tuesday, John's is tonight, then I have to do my classroom on Thursday! What a week!!! Whew!

Lucy I found out today that my friend here is from like 20 minutes from Kutztown. She was telling me about their teacher education programs. Her parents still live out there. I'll have to ask again what town. She is a DVC member as well, so we talk Disney a lot when she comes to school. The girls at work just walk away shaking their heads. Some people just don't get it!!

I appreciate your prayers but don't worry I'm fine. I was diagnosed and had surgery in 2002. I don't need any further treatment but they run tests twice a year (March and September) to make sure all is well. The doctor tell me that the chance of a recurrance is less than 1 percent. I come from hardy stock. My grandmother will turn 102 in October. I just saw her when I was in RI last week. She made pizza. I'm sorry we didn't get to see you when we passed through Staten Island. We were making good time on the drive until we got out to Long Island. We hit alot of traffic. Hey, whatever became of the talk of a NYC weekend for everyone?

If DCL doesn't cruise in the Med in 2007 would anyone be interested in cruising the Med on Royal Caribbean or would you rather do whatever the new destination may be on DCL (Alaska perhaps...)? I wish they would just make an announcement.

Kathy, I think I would like to go to Med more than Alaska but let's see what happens! My fingers are crossed! Hygene seems like a nice person, she answered me right away!

Ok folks, I'm totally losing it.....................DD18 is off to college tomorrow (I feel like I lost my job.........she's excited of course!) Also, I meet my new students tomorrow (I heard it's to be a challenging year!!) School starts on Monday here.............

Hey Debi, cleaning is a waste of time.........as soon as you finish it gets dirty again!! Actually, I'm hoping the house will stay cleaner soon (due to the above mentioned situation.)

Anyone here remember a guy named "Bill?" He used to come on these boards until he became all stuck up after he won the JT dance comp.....how annoying!

DCL is just killing me! I wish they would make the announcement already too! What could be the hold up....I can see the DCL biggies, in their posh offices, monitoring our angst through these boards, laughing all the way to the bank! LOL We loved our DCL cruise so much, that we want to do another DCL cruise, where ever. We will be doing an RCCL cruise in summer '06 for Mark's family reunion...the destination is yet to be determined.

Ryan had a minimum day today so we went to DL right after school. It was just me, Ryan and Drew. Not too busy, we had fun, rode the Buzz Lightyear ride for the first time. I was like a big kid on that ride. Right now I read the AP rate at the DLH is $89/night for the month of Sept so I think we may try to get there for a short weekend.

Good Luck to all you teachers starting back and to the young people off to college, I don't suppose you want me to tell you that school for the teachers here starts 5th sept and for the kids the 8th. I think the proverb whoever laughs last comes to mind here no really i'm beginning to think about going back myself, comes with the principal territory, I have to be prepared so school can start well. the difference for me is normally the first couple of weeks back are really quiet while everyone gets back into routines.

Lynn: isn't that what they told us - October......I've got little patience and this waiting isn't easy....I wanna be the first to know (where have we heard that before - "I wanna be the first one at the terminal!").

I've been really, really stressed lately (I NEED a vacation with you guys), and
decided to change my job at the university (I've worked in the same dept.
for the last 19 years)....so, it will be like starting new....and I'm just so old
to do that....but there are alot of personality issues in my present job that
just make me sick....so a change is good, right?

OK, I don't care where we go....as long as we go together in 2007!

Ok, ok,.............I cried all day, my second DD has grown up and left me......I feel better, she seemed really happy when she called!

I met my little students............THEY WERE SO CUTE!! Now, I'm psyched for the new school year!!

Lucy, I had like the worst year ever about 3 years ago and I changed positions AND IT WAS A GREAT DECISION........I never thought I could be this happy EVERY SINGLE DAY.......so I support your decision to change......best wishes!!

Hey Lynn, in our school............EVERY DAY INCLUDING THE DAYS BEFORE SCHOOL ARE CRAZY.........it's nice to hear that in your world it's alittle less stressful!!(thx for the info about MED!)

Lucy, I'll help ya eat for Kathy....hey, we're both jerks! HA HA HA Have food, will eat; the motto I live by.

I have to admit, I like DL better than the MK too. I like that it's smaller and easier to navigate around, especially with little people. Having said that though, I really loved EPCOT, actually, we all did and I can't wait to get back to FL to spend more time there. Ryan has a minimum day the last Wed of every month, so I've decided I'll take the boys to DL each month. It will be my special time with them. Disney always gives our family such great and warm memories. Disney really is magical, whether it's the cruise, WDW or DL.

My dad just told me he and my step mom are taking a 10 day med cruise next September with my Aunt and Uncle. He couldn't remember the line (that's dad for ya), but it's basically an adult ship and it's costing $8K for the two of them (just for the cabin), so I'm thinking it's one of the hoity toity lines. I'm excited for them.....

Regarding Bill....you know JoAnn, I've heard once you go "Hollywood" you forget all the little people you met along the way. It's very sad.

To all of those offering to eat for me over the next couple of weeks...may the "big butt fairy" pay a special visit to each of you! Ha Ha...

My latest houseguest leaves this morning and we have a relatively quiet weekend ahead. I'd like to take the kids to the beach or Busch Gardens tomorrow. The weather is supposed to be great.

Next week I'll prep the kids for school. We have dentist appointments and haircuts on the agenda. Our school orientation day is next Thursday morning. Ted is working over Labor Day weekend so the kids and I will have to make our own fun.

Looky here ...Christmas came earily this year for the Eagles....

Bengles this week ... and the Jets next week... I wonder if Coach Reed will use the starters at all..... Who Ha... nothing like starting the season on a winning note....

In the Baseball world, it appears the Met's and Red's have forgotton how to lose ....they're not supposed to do all this winning,they're season was over when we left for the Cruise I mean give it up

Anyhow ,we enjoyed our brief visit at the Cinncy airport coming home from the Cruise,had a great meal,they sent us to the wrong departure gate... almost got to see beautiful Rochester,NY....
Anyhow, the fishing is slow , weather cooled, and I've been experimenting with riding a surf board... ..every time I say that they all laugh ...

Lucy, the address was right apart from the post code(zip code) which should be GU35 9EZ. My pics are nearly ready for viewing I've done the same captions 3 times and they keep getting wiped it's very frustrating,but I'll be done soon.

We have a long weekend this weekend how about you guys? So Keith has Monday off BBQ with friends on Sunday otherwise not a lot planned.
