Last day of school tomorrow!! Vacation officially begins!

Everyone needs to think warm and we will be on that cruise before you know it!!

this is my last day at work (12/20) - took vacation time rest of
year

it snowed last night and presently, Monday morning, the wind
chill temperature is around 15 below. My 12 yr. old has his first 2 hr. delay
of the year.

DH and I finally did some Christmas shopping this weekend, last night
I made my first batch of Christmas cookies - I LOVE to bake, but it is
very difficult resisting them, must weigh in on Tuesday night with WW.
I will have my Christmas morning Christmas cookie breakfast, no matter
what!

Too cold.........need to think about Mexico. We sat out at the Cincy Bengals/Bufalo Bills games yesterday and about froze to death. My feet were not an entity of my body at one point!!!

Bought an LA Dodgers pin and a SD Padres pin at the Reds' gift shop to include in Santa's big announcement bag. I am getting so psyched to tell the kids. Verandahman has sent a postcard as well from Mickey!! I will be glad when the "cat is out of the bag" as I have almost spilled the beans so many times!!!

Now, just wrapping to do! yeck!

Hopefully the holidays will help us break 200 before we know it!!

I'm feeling the holiday pinch right now. I have a million things to do and no time to do it.

With the snow we have here, I guess I am done! I need to send DH out for a couple of things, but I am not getting out. I think we are up around 8 inches or more this morning. YECK!

My kids are wired for Santa..........little do they know! The cruise is a major portion of their gift Sat. I have some items to wrap to make the big announcement!

I think I'll listen to that Toby Keith song today (Good to go to Mexico). Puts me in the mood listening to it. I need some "warm" feelings!

This cruise can't come fast enough! Now everyone is passing around the "intestinal stuff". Two kids with it down and one to go.....

I envy Verandah Man right now.... Wish I could be a stowaway!!


I trust eveyone had a nice holiday. Our kids are so psyched about the cruise. I am just glad they know now. I almost spilled the beans countless times!

Lucy is back on the boards - rejoice. We have a serious
computer virus at home, computer is down, so I couldn't
write over the last two weeks.
Our Christmas presents are usually geared to Disney,
got my DH the Unofficial Guide to Disneyland, although
I like the other version better (Birnbaum's?) - guess what!
he bought me the same thing....we are both just a little
too excited about July. This holiday was very stressful,
we made it that way - entertained a little too much - constantly
cooking and cleaning. Now the serious diet begins also.

I almost blew it several times! DH and I would get to talking at night and someone would come walking across the house and we'd be paniced that they heard us!!!

We did three packages. The first had a Reds lanyard with Dodgers and Padres pins for DS11 to open. He was so excited!
The second one was a black and white Steamboat Willie stuffed toy. DS7 opened it and also included a DL video (he had always wanted to ride the Matterhorn). The last one for DD5 had the stuffed DCL like they sell on the ship (from E-Bay) and the DCL video. They were jumping up and down with excitement! We also had a postcard from Mickey (thanks to Verandah Man and Shirley at Perfect Gift) that talked about the cruise and riding the Matterhorn. I love the magic of Disney and Christmas!!!!!!

Happy New Year everyone! Can't believe we'll be under the 200 mark. But 200 days still seems like FOREVER!

Hey, I can't wait for the under 200 mark!! It's almost here!!!!!!!!! Going to CA and vacationing on the West Coast will be such a blast!!!!!!!!! So how was the Unofficial Guide....not too good??? I'll have to check that one out......Right now I just want to know what the excursions are...how about you guys!!!?????

I'm so anxious for summer, BUT also looking forward to the first seven
day cruise out of LA - want to know about the excusions and, of course,
the menus. This is going to be one long winter - rain, rain, rain.
We have mini trips planned, one night in NYC in January, and 5 days at
Disneyworld in March. Disneyworld is our second home, we have annual
passes.

So, does anyone have a guess as to when they'll have info on shore excursions?!? It would be nice to know around NOW, so that we can plan $$, etc. Plus the first cruise is 6 months away, you'd think they'd have it available by now, at least for us to view. I guess I'm too much of an "advance" planner.
