Way to go JoAnn!! Keep counting points, drinking water and running! :cool1:

Spent MLK day cleaning files and my desk. Three bags of trash!!! How does one get so much junk? I found my DCL documents from our 2003 cruise. Now I do have the fever!!!

Still craving those excursions papers!!!

Big plans for your birthday????

Did you all read the post on the main cruise board about excursions, it seems they will be on the Disney site by the end of the week. Hooary

My hubby and I are trying to help each other lose weight. We couldn't possibly run, way too unfit but we are walking together each evening, gradually building up the distance and time. I want to do some of those active excursions and not feel uncomfortable in the heat.
Good Luck everyone

:confused3 Whose birthday?

So cold here today - i can't get out for my walk today (temperature at
0 degrees!) Tonight WW - i THOUGHT I might hit the 10 lb. mark tonight
but getting on the scale this morning, i don't think I did it AGAIN!
I worked very hard on my day off yesterday - things that had to be done
before we go to NYC this weekend.
Oh, how I hope those excursions come out this week - what great news.
Lucy

:grouphug:

Is it ironic that we are talking a cruise and you are going to the Titanic exhibit??? EEK!

Don't forget to reward yourself with a piece of birthday cake!! :bday: :cake:

:cheer2: Because it is YOUR birthday, we are going to NY this weekend to
celebrate YOUR birthday (of course, no other reason!!!)
No, I have no desire to see Earthquake or Titanic (get it?)
It is snowing as 'we speak'!

Lucy-I think almost 10 lbs is great....more than what I can say! I think it's great that you're doing it.
JoAnn-3lbs is great too! Especially since you're running...not only good for your waistline, but your heart too!
Keep it up ladies...now I just need to do something!!!

I'd love to see the Titanic exhibit, upcoming cruise or not. Can't wait to hear about it.

I hate to say this, but it was 80 here yesterday! Of course the week before it was raining and there were floods and I think we saw temps of 45 during the day, which might explain why this week I came down with a terrible cold and a fever of 102!!! I thought my littles one were supposed to get sick first, not me!!!! LOL.

As soon as anyone sees the excursion info on the DCL website, be sure to post here so we can jump on it. Wonder if all of us checking at one time could jamm up the DCL website?!?! :earboy2:

Whoa, 10 lbs. is so great....WTG!!

Ok, about the Titanic exhibit.......you're right it's alittle weird........to be honest ........my cruising obsession began after I saw the movie......it replaced Gone with the Wind as my all time favorite (my oldest DD is named "Tara")...so for my birthday, it makes perfect sense!!

I'm so excited about our cruise!! :jumping4:

Haha I definitely foresee jams on the DCL web site just as soon as that info gets posted.
I'd already booked randi for Mazatlan, Has anyone else?

Okay I've probably got alot more to lose than you guys, I lost alot for our cruise in 2003 but I'm afraid it's all piled back on. I've lost 9lbs so far in Jan about one twelveth of what I need to do. I don't think it will be all gone before the summer but I hope to be considerably lighter so I can enjoy myself even if it's hot.
My hubby and I aren't running but we are walking together for 20mins every night.
Here's to a slimmer 2005

I just e-mailed her last night and booked. I'm 90% sure we'll do this, but am keeping my options opened until I see the other options. I am sure Randi's will be the best choice, but still........ :flower:

Nothing was posted for PV excursions yet. These aren't on the DCL website and I personally did call DCL to get info and they said not for another month. It amazes me how some people get a rep that will spill and other's get a rep that won't say anything!

I also got this from another thread...it looks like fun! It's for PV

Woohoo..... :cheer2:

OK, everyone have a good laugh - the family is travelling to NYC
tomorrow morning - just checked the weather - a foot of snow is
possible in NYC tomorrow thru Sunday. Thank goodness we won't be
driving - taking the local bus to NY. It should be quite messy and
kind of cool to be there in a snowstorm (I won't be saying this
if we can't get home on Sunday). :charac2:

JoAnn: be careful on your trip to Phila. tomorrow (how far must you
drive) - you may be staying with your daughter. :flower1:

Oh, and happy birthday, JoAnn - may be a birthday you won't forget! :bday:

Thx so much! I think it's your birthday too so have a blast in NYC! We cancelled our plans due to the storm. My DD20 came home and we're chillin' at home!

I hope everyone is safe and happy during the "Blizzard of 05!"

JoAnn :grouphug:

Sorry, I think "JFS" has my birthday, I hope you return home safely....anyone watch the Eagles beat the Falcons today!! How cool is that!!

Hope all are safe and well on the East Coast after the storm...... :cheer2:

Can anyone imagine how beautiful NYC was during the blizzard?!!! :wave2:
Started snowing Saturday morning as soon as we got up there.
Actually saw two Broadway shows, nothing else to do in NYC in a blizzard.
Walking around in the City during a blizzard was really neat, then came
yesterday and it was a messy city. Busses started running in the
afternoon and we got home around 5:30. We were dreading getting
to our house, which IS in the same town, because we KNEW we would
need to shovel the driveway and sidewalks. WELL, some SAINT came
by our house and cleaned everything up for us. Once we find out
who it was.....they will get a very NICE gift. Saw the ending of the Eagles
game (we are NOT football fans) and we were really proud of our hometown
team. Gotta read those excursions, people. Happy Monday. (our kids
only have a two-hour delay - i can't believe our schools aren't closed).
Lucy

So, I was wondering if everyone had a look at the excursions and if so what y'all thought?! Only one stands out to me right now, which is the Pirate Cruise (Marigalante) pirate: in PV--I know my boys will love that one!

So what tickles your fancy?!

Lisa

Just letting you know that the prices for Puerto Vallarta have been added as well as the times of the excursions at all of the ports. :cool1:
