Hey! July 30th, 2005 cruise to Mexico DISfriends!

Sounds like Bill raised those children all by himself........... There were a few things he forgot to mention: 6 week schools across the country for the government; river runs when they took the Navy's ships out to sea for a week or better; etc. etc. etc. Bill was mostly describing the things our son's did in their teenage years and most of the time, we did not have the time or money to go away and leave them alone. We would probably not have any house when we got home. I, frankly, hear more stories about what they were doing now than when they were actually doing them. Raising children, as you all know, is difficult, but with a lot of prayer, dicipline, love and attention they turn out pretty great. I felt it was all worth it and am thankful that Bill & I can enjoy seeing our children and grandchildren, travelling with them and just plain watching them experience what we did when they were growing up. You all seem to have a handle on what's going on with your families so keep up the good work.... Love Alice

I had three pregnancies.......someone should have warned me that after you buy them cute outfits for about 10 years (like little babydolls)....they get REALLY EXPENSIVE after that! I'm still glad I had all 3 BUT I REALLY CAN'T AFFORD THEM ANYMORE!

IU beat MN 65-60...that Gordon kids is a stud, don't you think? I doubt he'll be around long. The NBA is calling his name. BTW Bill, our 6'7" wide reciever is opting out to the NFL. I am not surprised given what happened this year with our coach and the new staff is in place not.

guys ....we just got a new computer AND a 22" monitor - HUGE monitor , BIG monitor ....the techy part - Bob set it up, whatta guy, still need e-mail though.

Football, football, football, is it ALMOST over!
I have been watching my favorite channel (weather, of course), and it sounds AWFUL in Green Bay this weekend, it hurts just hearing about the temperatures

My baby girl was here today - she is sick with a cold, she was SO cuddly today, did I LOVE THAT OR WHAT!

Took four books out of the library again (seem to do that weekly), we just watched a Hannah Montana marathon (YES, we like Hannah Montana), now it is High School Musical 2, which I don't like, so I'm headed to bed to read.

Bitter cold weather headed our way this weekend

Bob must work tomorrow from 7-4 and just found out there is no heat in the store, being repaired sometime tomorrow.....

How RUDE of me to not wish anyone a happy birthday - Happy Birthday to everyone ....WOW, that about covers it....BUT, what I don't understand, how do the two birthday girls in January get off from school on their birthday....I don't get the day off....OH, WAIT.....I DO this year

Oh, speaking of the past LITTLE snowstorm we had, I innocently went to the store at 8 o'clock last night, we were OUT of milk, well, so was the store! I asked one of the kids WHY! He reminded me we had an inch of snow on Thursday night, and the Pa. Dutchmen around here, when a 'storm' is predicted, buy your bread, eggs, and MILK! Duh!

Now I must go out and get some milk today. A "dumb statement" by Tyler last night: "I can't drink that milk, it is too fatty" (while he has buttered popcorn and some donut holes!!!!!)

Jenny is getting ready for her "big" day..........she really enjoys it when I bring it up a lot! Talked to Tara today on something called "Skype"...finally heard her voice, she was grumpy, she's preparing her "review" for school and she was feeling pressured..........oh to be young again!

my husband was monopolizing my computer while working on our taxes. I love my CPA!!

I still am to start the laundry. I have "tinkered" all morning around the house. I rearranged stuff in the kitchen about three times after I cooked my family a nice breakfast.

Yes, we do get the "eve" of our birthdays off JoAnn, but it's still a reprieve!!!! Not sure that we are going to "celebrate". We did that last weekend. Plus, I am still "on the wagon"!!!

Mark and Marshall are now working on the infamous "pinewood derby car". I HATE the pinewood derby!!! I helped with the car last year, so I got out of it this year!

I'd better get the started. I have already caught he*% from DD who INFORMED me that she didn't have any jeans to wear. Even at home, it's like a fashion show for her.

Oh, Bill..........Hoosiers are on at 2 p.m. tomorrow here against your beloved Nittany Lions. Suppose you can stay awake this time!

No, it's not psychological........I am ill b/c it's cold out, I have no warm trips lined up and I'm depressed.......it's definitely not psychological..........
