I hear you Lucy, I walk on the treadmill, with headphones and a tabloid! Hang in there, it's time to get ready for next summer (it will take me that long to lose 10 pounds!)

I think Lynn means an overnight stay with her students (what bravery!) Thx for your encouragement, I have only a half day with my students and then a day and a half to clean my room, put away all my papers, etc........it's not pretty!

Hope Kath is having fun, Lynn & Deb are surviving.........summer here we come!

Okay okay...ive been a really bad allie gator ::hides behind goofy:: but tomorrow will be my 17th day straight working so I think you'll understand why I haven't been around! I've been trying to keep up and my mom has started to yell at me for not posting haha!!

Jenny- I got the letter and pictures from the kids...thank you so much!!! it put a hugggggee smile on my face and i have them hanging up in my room here!!

On Sunday me and my roomies are moving into this place called Regal Palms (www.regalpalmsorlando.com) because they took to many CP's and disney is offering those who extended to stay there for free, its beautifulll!!! We're getting a two story town home in it, ahhh!

Joanne Tell your girls I have a major story concerning my ex! We spent the second night I was home in his car talking for about 6 hours which resulted in me coming home around 6 in the morning...momma and papa were not happy, ay yai yai!

We just got a taste of Alberto today, it was a dud pretty much...nothing terrible.

I get my first day off in 17 days on tomorrow...and I have work in about 5 hours...I should get some rest..

It's a great day for JoAnn !! I so feel her relief!!! That cleaning up part is nothing compared to the last day!

It appears Kathy might have gotten a taste of Alberto, but let's hope it doesn't linger too long there. Mark & I were talking today about how nice it would be to see HH. I don't believe I've ever been to HH and definitely not the Disney property.

Debi How's Bri's school coming along? I bet she is "so done"!! I would be! What's the latest on the store?

one of my professors just caused me a stress attack - he wasn't here
when I got here - he is ALWAYS here when i get here, no matter what time -
and he has heart problems and cancer....I call his house, answering machine - more panic - i start looking for his car - and my phone rings...he just woke up - when he is feeling better...I'm gonna kill him!

Hey all! Thx for the kind words, I've been a little whiney lately! Yes,my last day is tomorrow. My students were so sweet today, I cried a few times! I bet you NEVER thought I would say that! I had a few students from 6th who visited and they touched me! A few of my boys reorganized my library before they left and THAT'S never happened before! Finally, one of my girls wore a shirt today which said "Mrs. Lawall" which she had made for today! How funny and cute is that!

Anyway, I worked until 7:45pm so that I wouldn't have to work past 4 tomorrow! Then as I said, I will start the cleaning!

It's Father's Day this weekend, and my dad said you can all come down this weekend! (that should get his attention!)

I'm so psyched to hear from our "Allie!" It's so cool to hear all her news....question, I'm trying to get Tracy to join us in July, how does that sound? (Really I just want to get all the details about the six hour "talk") Stop working so hard, Allie! Seriously, I just put all my cruise formal pics and the MM pic from April in my frames. Truly, Allie, you are GREAT at your job! I love our family pic at AK with you, what a great moment for all of us! Keep up the good work!

Wow! Sounds like you had a great day. It's amazing how "sweet" they can be! For some, too little too late!!! However, they are so funny at the end! It's also amazing to see how far they have come in 9 months!

So, now CLEAN FEST begins???

I am still three closets away from finishing. Unfortunately, two of those closets are MASSIVE AND STUFFED!!! One is memorbilia collected from various games. I have years worth of programs, scorecards, press guides, bobbleheads, etc. I have NO IDEA what I am going to do with all this stuff. Much is to be kept for the kids' collections. Then there's the closet of various holiday decorations. I haven't done any serious decorating in years, but now that the kids are older, maybe I can do more? Anyway, it's long overdue!

And of course, there is always to be done!!!!

I wonder how Debi is???

I hope Kathy and family are having a great time!

I know what you are saying.....even I have some problems with some of the kids, but then at the end of the year, or when they graduate, they come with gifts and these wonderful notes. I wish I would have started a scrapbook (did someone say scrapbooking ) with all the pictures and the notes. One of my students that worked for me gave me a picture frame with all the kids I knew....that was SO touching, and then 3 years later, another assistant of mine did the same thing, all the kids I knew with me in several of the pictures.

Thanks for the invite JoAnn - and we WOULD take you up on it, but we are heading out for a long weekend ourselves......won't be on-line, sorry you lurkers....it will ONCE AGAIN be very quiet. The weather is supposed to be
GORGEOUS at the shore HUGS to Bill for me, ok?

On June 7, 2006, it was announced by Disney that the apartment would be completely decorated and upholstered as a 'royal bedchamber', which can sleep upto four people. It will become available as a once-in-a-lifetime experience during the Year of a Million Dreams celebration taking place at all eleven Disney theme parks, and an overnight stay in the apartment will be a prize randomly awarded to a guest at the Magic Kingdom, or indeed any park at the Walt Disney World Resort. More details will become known as the celebration opens and someone stays in the apartment.

SOMEONE was snoring when he returned home from a "meeting" with a doc and two of his superiors!!!) I am not touching the Beauty one!!!

Camp Invention Showcase today. I wonder what my air popper got turned into?? Knowing my kid???? This could prove to be interesting! We head off to the city for the Reds and the defending World Champion White Sox! Sounds like a potential a&$ whippin' for the poor Reds to me!!!

Apparently the boards will be quiet. I am not sure whether the laptop will make the trip, but I will check in if I take it. Lucyis quiet again! Keep it going JoAnn and hopefully you can sit your dad down for a spell!!! Maybe Kathy will come home and tell us how great her trip was! Lynn is due back, so she can give me a lesson on "residentials".(Residentials sounds to me like the sent her to the "funny farm"!! Hey girls, don't desert me, I'm finally home!! It's time to make our final plans for next month, so far, we have our Segway ressie (and I think I reserved some dinners for us.) However, we can change the dinners if you have better ideas............then we have to pick out "Margarita Night!" Whoooooooooooooopppppppppppppeeeeeeeeeeeee!! Summer's arrived!

My dad's working three jobs, his last day as crossing guard is today! Then it's just the boat ramp and bait shop, what an ol' salt!!! Why we all send him a Father's Day note to get him to write back (after all he is our honorary "DisFather!" )

I really have little news ...as Joaaann says today is the last ....till next year....
one item of interest ...a women drove up to my car yesturdayand started screaming at me concerning the crossing guard job... whoah says I.. what's the problem..??? never did get a straight answer... Alice says it's because of the tax increase....I think she's a @#$#@ nut....
Today is the last.... and don't you know two female drivers crash into each other and then into a pole.... From observation over 2 years...I've concluded 30/50% women shouldn't drive.. they got tomuch baggage with them in the car, kids,late for work, fighting with the 'ol man,cel phones...and then some.... Hey, sorry just seems overwhelming at times...forunately, no one was seriously hurt... sure been a h$#$ of a week
...fishing been quiet, Big A and I go up to the the "north" end with this beautiful weather (after dinner ) throw some lead, not much happening for me.... but people are catching 'em...I know ,I get to weight them at the B&T shop
on a final note....Happy Father's Day to the hubbies out there....love all of ya
