next to the manatee at WDW, I've never seen such a large fish, Bill.
Believe me, I just 'don't get out'...... :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
NOW, what do you do with "it"???? Do you name it, do you stuff it? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I LOVE receiving these pictures of the parties...everyone is having such a good time with parties....maybe I could send you a picture of ME sitting on my sofa, watching TV, and sleeping....that's what is happening in my life. :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2:
BUT, at least I have clean clothing for my children and they are eating well (well, that is a debate in my house, "there is never anything to eat at home", even though my pantry is stuffed).

Kathy - the WEIGHT thing....congrats...I've been on WW for several months and only lost 7 lbs! That was without ANY exercise (except doing laundry of course), so now I've got to get my big fat butt out and walk, so all of you can say to me, "Lucy, you're gorgeous, Lucy, you look so young, Lucy, you are SO FULL OF IT! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: ) OK, let's set a goal for Lucy...if she doesn't lose 20 more lbs till July, NO MICKEY BARS :sad2: :sad1: :scared1: :scared: :( :mickeybar

Nice fish Bill! It's great to see all the photos. JoAnn - Looks like you have a beautiful home, I love the sunroom!

Yes, that is Lou in the pictures. He walked her in and he was her 16th candle, as well. They are not going out, but they are still good friends, and I really don't know what is going on with them... :confused3 When I look at them, it still looks like they are going out... :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

For those of you who don't know about the candle ceremony, she has to choose people who are important in her life to come up and light each of her candles. Then, Briana will make a speech about each person, and ask them to come up and help light the candle. For instance, Micco and I were her first candle, Alex was her second, grandparents third... etc. When Alex did it, her ceremony lasted almost an hour, she had so much to say....gee, can you believe that??? :rotfl: :rotfl: Briana was more short and to the point, but each speech she made was special and meaningful. She did a great job. :goodvibes Briana does not like to speak in front of 10 people, let alone a room full of over 100 people. So that's how it goes...

Anyway, it is now almost 5 weeks since the fire, and I am still nowhere further than I was at week 1. Still waiting on insurance money, can't order anything yet, and even if I could, the store still has a hole in the wall, and no work has been done. It is extremely frustrating and depressing. At least the party is over, so the stress from that has gone away. I actually woke up on Sunday, feeling much more relaxed.

Hey Lucy - When is Tyler's project due? I think you said the 31st, which is next Wednesday. Is there anything I can send him from the store that will help him out? Just let me know and I can get it out right away. Call me at the store today if you want, I will be in until 5. I won't be in tomorrow, because I am going back to the Stationery Show.

Weather is cold here this morning, 48 degrees. It is almost June, c'mon already. I want warm weather. Allie is back in the heat, and probably complaining, even though she was complaining here last week that it was so cold.

Anyway, have a great day all!

Debi

Jo ann i got the pics everyone looks really happy what great friends and family (I thought the house was sparkling too!)

Okay now just to get some perspective on this house thing our whole house would fit in your conservatory bit...... I really wasn't kidding when i said you are all welcome but tents in the garden might be the order of the day :rotfl2:

I'm so pleased everyone else asked about the candle ceremony... I thought it was a US tradition I didn't know about and was going to ask Debi later..It sounds beautiful, I guess i could have a go next birthday... although at my age people might fall asleep before the end ...that's if the fire brigade hadn't already broken up the party :rotfl:

Bill I'll show you Keith's St Thomas fish one day .... :thumbsup2
See you later
Lynn

:rolleyes2 Thanks everyone...........but.............YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN THE LAUNDRY ROOM!! :rotfl2: :lmao: :confused3

Imagine my surprise late Saturday night, when I received the "fish" movie! Shesh, isn't my dad something?? Let's think of a new nickname.....Fisherman Bill??

Again, I really enjoyed seeing Bri's party, that was so cool! Thx for sending it!

So, Jenny, almost finished??? You know what............I'M JEALOUS! I really like my class but I'm ready!! :moped: I'm planning to go to Brigantine this weekend, if anyone is up for a roadtrip!

Keep it up, Kathy & Lucy.............I had lost 6.4 but then, there was alittle setback..........so now I'm at 4.6?? I figure it's better than gaining....... :smooth:

Thx Lynn for checking in, my dad's pictures make the house look really nice....Ken's family is currently at 50 people (he has 8 brothers and 1 sister.) So all the people are actually family!

Hope all are well tonight, Jessica's team lost tonight in double overtime and then a shootout. It was really a shame. I'm bummed!

I noticed how several in the pictures looked like they could be relatives to Ken. One brother VERY MUCH resembled Ken! I didn't realize he had so much family!!!

I am off to Cincy this afternoon for a night game (just John and I). John has to go to the doctor first. Late night back, but hey....only 3 more days of work!!!! :cool1:  :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Time to brag...........we got a letter last night in the mail. John is receiving the "Superintendent's Award" along with 5 classmates on Thursday night at the Middle School Banquet. These are the students who received ALL As this year! I am making him skip his game and go to the banquet because this is so cool!!! :woohoo: Unfortunately, he did NOT get this talent from his mother. It's the only POSITIVE thing "X" gave him (but he also has NO COMMON SENSE like "X" too)!!! :lmao:

Where is our Allie Gator?! :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Actually.... I've been called Billy Brass B@#@# on occasion ... and that was appropiate for the moment....I can just accept what comes my way...!! :cool1:
And remember...Billy Shakespeare said... "What's in a name,a rose by any name would smell the same"....see ...and youse guy's thought I had no culture....!! :wave2:
JoannnEa, I thought the laundry looked "OK", I couldn't find the Vodka though.... :furious:
For what is was worth,I was commented about in the local fishing Mag this week... :smooth: And I think we can put that subject to rest.... :badpc:
Lynn, I would love to sleep on your front lawn,...It would have to be a first, since they got the "Yanks" out of England after the "Big War" :rolleyes1
I'm impressed with the various achievements of all your "children's" ... :goodvibes ..as I have lurked in the shadows ( along with others :teeth: ) It is a indication of the hard work you parents/teachers have dedicated yourselves to... :cheer2: Well Done...
Loosy ..I had a Uncle who wouldn't get up in the mornings... when he had been in the navy, they would "flip" his bunk... :Pinkbounc or a bucket of cold water was all it took to cure that behavior.. :goodvibes Hey.... nobody said it was going to be easy :woohoo:
Can you believe those D#$@ Phillies blew those games in NY..... :furious:

OMG! I WANT TO SEE THAT ARTICLE, BB!! Why don't you guys go around the corner and SURPRISE the girls!! They're there tonight!!

I was there too(the day of the big fish catch)!! I was trying to get that big flounder to go into the fish net so we could bring on board. Gonna be quiet on the boards - everyone is away....Debs, let's keep it going, and Lynn and Kathy. Gotta bake some choc. chip cookies and choc. cake with peanut butter icing for tomorrow - spent a fortune at the grocery store today....sorry Bob...love 'ya. Oh, Bob, by the way, Tyler and I went out with some friends tonight and I brought you back a meal. (I know he'll read the boards from work tonight...the only way we keep in touch)

Allie Gator - I'm waiting! How are 'ya. :) :sunny:

What, Lucy, you think I don't have a computer down the shore?! I'm here, I'm here...............I'm going to try to get a copy of the "article" and send it to all of us! :cheer2:

Thx Lynn, see you next summer!! Pray for me, I don't think I'm going to make the next 12 school days......................... :bitelip:

Where's Jenny & Kathy??? :wave2:

Hey Luce, Happy Memorial Day!! Hey Deb, how are you recovering from the party? Hope things are improving at the store! :confused3

I'll be checking in all weekend, I LOVE SUMMER! :cloud9:

Hi Friends
I'll help keep us going this week we have a week's break before we head into our final 7 and a half weeks at school!!!!

Now I have a big favour to ask of someone who is heading to WDW this summer...to get my Disney fix when I'm not able to go in person I've started to play VMK (Virtual Magic Kingdom for the uninitiated) I have some quests that I have downloaded, I know all the answers but they have to be handed in on Main Street before Sept 30th and my dilemma is I won't be there until Oct. It would just mean printing the page on your machine ticking the correct boxes ( I would e mail you the answers ) and then taking the completed page to the cinema on Main Street. I know it's a pain on your vacation would anyone be prepared to do that for me???? They will give you in return small cards with codes on. You could either e mail me the codes and keep the cards or give them to me when you see me next!!!!

In the same vein I Have a special code from playing on line for a free ride photo on Expedition Everest would any of you like this Coupon as again it expires on 30th Sept so is no good to me.

Thank you Lynn

I've just read back a bit Well Done John!!!!
I agree you do all seem to have the most amazing kids......but then I do subscribe to the Nurture rather than Nature side of the arguement on Children so it's really not so surprising to me that your kids are all so wonderful!!!!!:grouphug:

And I would be happy to turn in your VMK info on Main Street for you. Just send Lucy all the downloads. We will PM our address and e-mail. By the way, if you want to send the coupon for the free Everest picture, we will ALL use it when we ride together! (Everyone game?) Wouldn't that be cool... Wish you could join us in July (actually Lucy thought you were surprising us by coming), but we understand. Anyway, we will get to see you again in October! :thumbsup2

Thank you Bob...That is very kind of you. I really can't come in July we have people flying halfway around the world to see us, I can't fly away!!even if it is to see you lovely people, I love the idea of a group Everest piccy then you could scan it and I could see you all having fun!!!

Anyone got friends in CA who go to DL regularly there's a quest there at the moment too!!!!
