thanks JoAnn for the invite....but, told 'ya about Tyler = HUGE project due till the end of the year and he has THIS weekend and NEXT weekend to complete....YES, we knew about this a long time ago! :confused3

HAVE A FUN TIME, TARA

NOW we want to hear about Briana's party

Tyler was at the doctor this morning, now HE has a sinus infection....don't feel sorry for him....he is still eating well and moaning and groaning about the school work. Bob told me to double up on his medication since the warnings on the bottles say: MAY cause drowsiness! :rotfl2: :rotfl: joking! :lmao:

I'm exhausted! The only time I clean is when we are going away (remember that??) and when we're having a party. So today, I decided to clean the laundry room. Now I realize that the guests won't be in there, but you just never know when I'll be motivated to clean it again so I just went for it! I've been sorting socks all day! Around 8pm I was FINALLY FINISHED so then I went shopping for the food. You can imagine why I'm so tired! :confused3

Have fun, Jenny, you can come for margaritas anytime (How about on the beach this summer (I really mean ON THE BEACH!) Mark and the kids could fish with Bill! (Everyone knows what a great fisherman he is - you SAW the FISH!) :lmao: Seriously, anyone who wants to go to the Jersey shore this summer, we are down most weekends and better my parents and my house, there's room for all.............. :cool1: :moped: :grouphug:

Debi, after you recover, let us know how things went! princess:

Hi, Kathy & Lynn - hope things are going better Lynn! :listen:

Well, we did it again  ....another monster /"moby" fish..... :cheer2: 5 lb 8oz 26 inch flounder.....wow, what a fish... :goodvibes Just Ms Alice and I...usually she nails the big fish, not this time :rolleyes1
Hey... Joannnne you know ,the first place I'm headed for will be the laundry room  yeah right... looking for the vodka.... :lmao:
From what Lynn reported in the recent note...she was touring the pubs in
Derby....hohoho :rotfl2: ...good for you Lynn, that's the best way to cure back aches :woohoo: I know it always worked for me... :rolleyes1

I see Johan has invited everyone down for the holidays again :confused3 ,hey why not :cool1: I'm going fishing :rotfl2:
Congrats to all you winners out there..... Briana, Tyler, Bob,Loosy the lurker,Mico, Mark,
Mallory,Cinn.Reds,Deb....and the recent Grandaughter grad...TARA... :cheer2: And to all the rest of ya...

look who is back! :welcome: Bill. Would love to visit this summer but
fishing just isn't 'my game'...... :sad2: Any pictures of the fish, Bill? :stir:

Hey, did anyone, but me, notice the Reds score...not good. Wonder if
"she" noticed :confused3 , or was 'she' partying too much without the kids. party: :jumping1: :drinking1 :drinking1

We haven't heard from Deb or Micco - they must be passed out from all the excitement this weekend. :dancer: :rockband:

Wish it was NEXT weekend, then I would have Monday off - but then
Ms. Jenny would be closer to the end of school :cheer2: :bounce:  :cool1:

:surfweb: It's JoAnn, Dad!!! Party Phase 1 is over; party Phase 2 is underway. Tara and Tracy invited their high school and college friends over...................................................................................................................................................................when will this day ever end?? :confused3 :stir:

Since Jessica won her playoff, we're having a pasta party and NOW I have to make all this pasta for tomorrow................................................. :guilty:

Enough about me.............NEWSFLASH............ANOTHER BIG fish has been removed from the back bay of Brigantine Island...............DaddyO has made a video movie of this one............BEG HIM TO SEND IT TO YOU!!! pirate:

Yes, Jenny is almost done, I'm jealous!

Sorry you didn't come Lucy, but I hope the project is done!! :cheer2:

Hey Debi, Lynn & Kathy, hope you're having a nice weekend.! :cloud9:

Off to Desperate Housewives! :goodvibes

JoAnn...the misspelling of your name by your
father really, really confuses me.....   :scared1:

Sorry you didn't come Lucy, but I hope the project is done!!
JoAnn, let me explain one thing....the project is DUE May 31st.....
it is a culmination of the entire 8th grade year....do you want to GUESSwhat date this project will be complete.....you guess it, girl, May 30th! :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious:

JoAnn, I'm almost believing you will be HAPPY to go back to work tomorrow...sounds like a very exhausting weekend. :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

How was everyone else's weekend....oh, by the way, I heard thru the
grapevine, that not only is Jenny NOT finishing her laundry, the poor, poor, children didn't have anything to eat in the house on Sat. morning either....
there is a law about this, isn't there? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

O.k. THe laundry didn't get finished, the kids had no cereal on Sat. a.m. (as "Tight Lips Loose" has already reported), the Reds lost BOTH games we saw, and I lost $25 at the casino (I am NOT a big gambler)!! But, Mark and I had an AWESOME TIME!!! We stayed at the Mariott Renaissance Center. They put us in a room overlooking the Detroit River and the Ambassador Bridge (to Canada) on the 61ST FLOOR!! It was so cool. I had stayed there years ago, but the town has really improved (thanks to the Super Bowl being there in Jan.). The new Tiger Stadium is one of my favorites in the "new stadium" category. The fences are LONG...lots of room out there!! St. Louis' new stadium doesn't hold a candle to this one. Our seats were right behind the plate both days! (it helps to have "CONNECTIONS"!!) Today we sat next to the mother of one of the Red's players. That was cool. We did see Ken Griffey, Jr. hit a grand slam yesterday, but we still lost the darn game!!

Now, back to reality for a few days. Ball games and, of course, laundry!!! Maybe a trip to the grocery should happen too. My kids basically eat cereal, so it's a food crisis!! John and I are going to make a quick trip to Cincy Wed night for a special giveaway he wants to hit, so it will be another whirlwind week. SIX MORE SCHOOL DAYS!

Mark fish???? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: He an accountant, for God sakes! He doesn't get his hands dirty!! :rotfl2: How do you think the lawn gets mowed?? John or I do it!! :rotfl: Marshall on the other hand would love fishing!!!! (I am still laughing at the thought of Mark fishing!!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

No discussions of the "Housewives" please! Mark taped it, so I don't want to hear what happened!!! :teeth: We love the Housewives and Grey's Anatomy... :woohoo:

How's Lynn??

I am anxious to hear about the "16 bash"!!

Kathy....you doing o.k.????

Ted left for LA on Friday morning. Since then I've had Field Day at the kids' school, strawberry picking, entertaining my aunt and uncle who arrived Friday afternoon and departed Sunday morning, ballet recital rehersal all day Saturday and recital Sunday afternoon. I even managed to take the kids to see "Over the Hedge" and make it to 5:00pm Mass on Saturday evening. This of course in on top of grocery shopping, laundry, cooking and taking care of the kids. Ted is having a great time in LA being wined and dined every night. He won't be home until late Wednesday night.

Next weekend he's working and I'm taking the kids to Water Country USA on Friday since it is a teacher workday and on Sunday I'm taking Owen to a Springsteen Concert in DC...his first.

Ted just found out that in addition to becoming department head of gastroenterology at Naval Medical Center San Diego next year, he will also become fellowship program director. There is no fear that our move will be delayed this time!!! Now I'm stressing about when to list this house for sale so we can be closed no later than the beginning of May next year. There are alot of homes on the market in our neighborhood right now and nothing seems to be selling. I'd rather sell this house early and be inconvenienced on this end than be worried that our house didn't sell when we leave for our cruise next year.

JoAnn, It sounds like you need a rest too. Congratuations Tara! And congratulations Jessica!

Lucy, I can just see you cracking the whip with Tyler. My guess is that his situation is not unique and that many of his classmates have also left their projects to the last minute.

Happy belated Birthday Mallory!!

Debi, I can't wait to hear about the party. We want details!

Lynn - It's great to hear you're back, I am glad you enjoyed your scrapbooking w/e. Sounds like you took a lot of classes.

CONGRATULATIONS TARA on your graduation.

HAPPY 16TH BIRTHDAY JESS!

So Briana's party was awesome, she looked like a princess, and had a smile on her face all night. It was truly her night to shine! She had written her candle ceremony all by herself, and not being a public speaker at all (unlike her sister), she did a WONDERFUL JOB!!! Micco and I were so very proud of her. Mom had a little too much to drink that night, and suffered at about 5:30 a.m. Saturday was a little rough, I had to do a birthday party at the store. But yesterday, I got to sleep a little late, and then went into the city for the Stationery Show at the Javits Center.

I am in the process of uploading the pictures as we speak, so I will send you all a link to view them later today.

Alex left Saturday night back to Florida, we miss her already. This will be the hard stretch until July when we get to see her again. It was really hard saying goodbye this time.

Anyway, hope you all had a great weekend. I am looking forward to this w/e, having Monday off. Anyone have any plans, we are not doing anything this w/e, so if anyone feels like a road trip, our door is open!!!

Debi

Hey guys, I emailed you all the link for the photos from Briana's party. Hope you can all see them. It is so easy to order and share photos now with this Costco website. I love it! Let me know what you think of our little princess!

Deb - so funny you mention stationery - we were just talking about you yesterday, how we wished we lived closer - Tyler would have an awesome report if we could get some materials from your store! NOW we must depend on boring A.C.Moore.....

Jenny - the children NEED cereal, girlfriend....are you going to make it to the store before YOU LEAVE AGAIN! I'm so thankful this trip to Disney will be here very soon so those children can have some healthy food while at Disney with me! :mickeybar :mickeybar :mickeybar

OK, Kathy, I'm totally exhausted....you have MORE energy than I EVER had!Congrats to Ted, but I'm sad too, I will miss you here on the East Coast. :sad1:

Deb - I know your sad about Alex...you guys are SO CLOSE....but just keep yourself busy and July will be here before you know it.....we'll check on her when we get down there

How's Joannie, JOAN, Joanne, Janey today? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Brianna looked beautiful! A true princess indeed!!!

I really enjoyed them! Debi.....I loved your dress too! The color was so cool!
Thanks for sharing!

Simply Stunning :tink: :tink:

in fact, all the girls were BEAUTIFUL (and the 'old guy' didn't look so bad himself!) :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Thanks, Deb, for the pictures. You have a wonderful family.

I posted earlier but for whatever reason it didn't actually post...

Debi, Briana looked gorgeous...Alex did too! I loved your dress! You looked beautiful...Micco wasn't so bad himself!

Please explain the candle ceremony. I'm clueless.

Congratulations Tara and Jessica! JoAnn, you deserve a rest now.

Lucy, I can just see you cracking the whip with Tyler. I would bet that many of his classmates are in the same boat this week.

Happy belated Birthday to Mallory!

:cloud9: Wow!! Debi, what a party..............I have a few questions????????????? Was that Lou?? I thought he was out of the picture, what happened??? Thanks for sharing, it looked like quite a night! Bri was gorgeous! It was great to see Alex too!

My dear ol' Dad made a little slide show of my party and so I sent it to Lucy, Jenny and Debi..............I don't remember Kathy & Lynn's email so PM it to me and I'll send it to you too. Lynn, you can see my American house!!! I look really terrible in the one picture of me so just ignore that one! :sad2:

I'm not worried, Luce, I'm sure he'll finish it on time! :cheer2:

Hey, Jenny, it sounds like you're having a ball.........keep it up.......BTW, I'm not going to make it!!! :teacher:

Me again!

I think I found Kathy & Lynn's emails........pls let me know if you received my two photoshows!! :teeth:

JoAnnUnless you are the thing with gills and the hook in the mouth, I didn't get any party pictures!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

BillGreat fish!! So, do you eat the thing now??? :confused3 I usually just go Red Lobster for one of those things...much easier!

I still am laughing at the visual of Mark fishing! :rotfl2: Poor guy...I just don't give him a chance!

DebiI'm curious as well about the candle ceremony. Having never been to anything like that, I have no idea what goes on (except the drinking part...had that figured out!!) I spotted Lou also and wondered what was going on with them.

Alex(I know you are lurking!) YOu looked great too! Did you get your envelope from M&M?

Loved Bill and his flounder!

Loved the pictures of Tara and Jessica's party! Everyone looked great! And your house is beautiful, JoAnn, and very clean!

Two more days until Ted gets home! He's partying like a rock star out there. Tonight I took the kids to Applebees...

JoAnn, I've been doing 120 min/day 4x/week of cardio at the gym...eliptical, stair-stepper, treadmill and bike. I've lost 10lbs since Easter but it's slow going. I need to add a weight-training program but I hate weights.

Hey Kathy..........you should have seen the LAUNDRY ROOM!!! Don't give up! Weights really help but I haven't done any for 2 weeks! Congrats on the 10lbs! That's great!!! :teeth:

Hey Jenny, so you were impressed with the FISH?? :thumbsup2
