It does appear Bill that everyone is on the mend! Thank goodness! Everyone has travel plans!! One of these days I want to come to the shore. But, with the fuel prices...whew!!! Glad we had our WDW flights purchased a LONG TIME AGO!!!

Bill - make sure you watch our new rookie, Jay Bruce. He was brought on Tuesday. He hit the game winning HR (his first) on Sat. He has a couple of doubles already as well. He is hitting something like .570! When we asked the scout from the Phillies about him, he simply replied "Roy Hobbs"! For those of you who are thinking who? That was Robert Redford in "The Natural". This guy said he is "the real deal"! Let's hope he continues and it's not "beginner's luck"!!

I will be pleased if we split with the Phillies!

Hey all, thx so much for the support, I'm over it, I know Jess was bummed but probably our time was up anyway. It's nice to not have all the stress and running around this week (talk about gas prices!)

Jenny, come to the beach! Aren't the Reds playing the Phillies in a few weeks.....no time like the present! We can compare ballparks and Lucy will come too, I'm sure!

We had a magnificient day at the beach yesterday, great weather!

I'm jealous, Lucy, as of today, we still have two full weeks of school!

Now home to plan the soccer banquet and Jess's graduation, more fun and games!

You think you have problems, Tara emailed me today that I should make a quilt of Jess's old soccer jerseys. Can you see me doing that? Do I seem handy or crafty to you? So I went online and I found some good websites....... It's a shame b/c you need about 8 weeks to order one of these quilts. So I told Tara that when she gets home, she can work on this as a going away gift!

didn't do anything to him (this time ).....I kindof guessed where he was and it was fine (this time!). Today 2 finals for him, and tomorrow one final and he is OUT!

YES, I'm watching THESE games, Cincy games that is. BUT, I only get to watch the game from 7-8, in my mom's room, once I'm home, I don't get the chance to watch anything!!!! Last night Tyler asked me to review a science study guide with him.....I couldn't even pronounce the words (he enjoyed every minute of that! ).....went to bed!

We are to see horrible thunderstorms in the Philly area - maybe the game will be cancelled tonight (hope not!)

rough weather here for two days now. Tornado near here yesterday. Cincinnati is currently getting hit hard and are reporting many trees down. The radar is reporting something like over 500 lightening strikes as well there.

I need to get out of this house! I am about stir crazy.

John and I played ESPN DVD trivia yesterday. We split. We also have the Disney DVD trivia so maybe M&M and I will play that today.

We sat out on our "new" deck last night and listened to the game (baseball is best on radio!). I got Mark a wireless speaker for Father's Day (yes, early) so we can take it out there. It was nice. We still don't have railing yet, but the flooring is finished. The guys who are doing it are working after work and weekends, so it is a slow process!

Ok, everyone on these boards is in BIG trouble! Yes, I've been working, but don't forget that I'm the PRESIDENT of the Soccer Boosters at the HS this year. The banquet is Monday night, so the last minute preparations are underway! While dodging Soccer Moms, I'm arranging the gifts and counting the final totals for the banquet (remind me to NEVER agree to be in charge of anything ever again!)

As a side note, Jess did again get the "FIRST" team for our league which is really fantastic (it makes everything else worthwhile, while, she, of course, doesn't appreciate what I'm doing for her!) Getting it two years in a row is fairly uncommon, she also had SECOND team as a sophomore. Noone on her team received this award as a soph or freshman, so I'm really relieved that she did as well as she did the last few years. She had a really talented team this year, so it is a big relief that she was acknowledged this year!

Sorry about the bragging, but this year was so nuts! School is equally crazy right now, still 9 days to go around here! I hope I can glean a weekend day at the beach this weekend, we'll see!

Storms,rain,rain almost every day Gonna be a hot weather weekend in Philly, Brigantine will have a cool ocean breeze..... Fishing had been good till this week,it seems the "bite" has dropped off a bit

Your right Lucky ,that Utley and the other guy are "cute" I think they're both married now, But that red's pitcher sure shut them down last nite..Utley is the best player I've seen since Pete Rose,this guy Utley gives 100% every game ....

"Hooked on Fishing", will be happening June 28, around here,attended another meeting last nite,it seems all in place, food,fishing stuff, events are all shaping up ....all we need is good weather,and some fish,to make it a great event..

I was about to start building a boat around here! Man, that's all it has done! Yesterday we got THREE huge storms through here. Luckily all the trees are still standing and the water is NOT standing in my house!

All that Wal-Marting killed me yesterday! I slept like a baby!
