Hey! July 30,2005 Cruise to Mexico Reunion Thread

the ONLY thing we are NOT agreeing on is going to Disney when Jennster is there ..... Bob's weekends don't work out this year .....because of the 4th of July and ME working that whole week, then the weekend Jenny is there is his weekend to work ....I hate it but it looks like it will not happen THIS summer in WDW. SO, for Bob's weekends off, we need to go to Florida at the END of July, THREE of us only.....

Next week, Tuesday, I'll have my carpel tunnel surgery, and goodness, I just thought about it, what if I can't chat on the board, it will be difficult to type with my left hand! I just said this to a friend of mine tonight and they told me to try the old fashion method "pick up a phone!"

Hey Jenny, congrats on your ticker...............I would love to come to WDW when you are there, but, I think that's when everyone will have just returned from everywhere. I'm thinking about trying to get away right before school starts again at this point or right before Jess and Tracy go back to college.

Doing basically nothing, AGAIN!! This is the time of year when we stay home and it kills me! I am ready to rumble!! I will probably work on tagging garage sale items for the summer. The kids have a ton of stuff set aside. I have quite a few things too!

Leaving for WDW four weeks from today keeps me going!

Pitchers and catcher report to spring training this week!

Except for starting to so early, your school breaks make so much sense. Ours are always in the middle of the most expensive travel periods.....

Today we are meeting friends for early dinner, then heading home, Tyler is having 3 boys over to play video games and stay the night - of course, we will be home for this sleepover

We are presently having a nice snowfall, reason i'm saying nice is it is pretty but won't cause any damage.

Jenny, this must be a tough season for you, staying home on weekends.
I agree with JoAnnster, when i met you, i felt sorry for you with your school schedule, but now I'm thinking too it is a great schedule.

I took Mark to Best Buy for his Valentine's Day gift. He got new speakers for his stereo/TV. I had planned to get him some then decided not to. Then this morning his one of his speakers blew! So, we got him fixed up.

I also did my Wal-Marting........

Tomorrow......gotta get the garage sale stuff marked!

Well, we went to Tiffany's but I didn't get anything.......TrayTray will be 21 on Friday, so we were "just looking!" Tomorrow is food shopping and prepping our Soccer Parents' meeting on Monday night for Jess's Varsity team..............I guess I could start shopping for Val day too!

It is 9:35 (YES, very past Lucy's bedtime) and it is thundering - it is the middle of winter and this is the 2nd or 3rd thunderstorm we've had this winter....I don't get it.
Tyler is having ANOTHER sleepover....3 guys....and they have already gotten a lecture from the "big bad mamma" (that's me!)....no leaving the house or I'm going to crash with them

you think the thunderstorm is bad, there was a tornado about 30 miles from here the other night! I had to clear the loose branches off the driveway to get to work the other morning! We have had two or three loud storms this past week too. It, of course, they have hit about the time the kids go to bed, so they come running when the thunder hits!

Why I first joined DIS, I went back to 2005 on this thread (actually the old thread ) and found a picture of the sail away party and there we were (in our striped shirts).

it is freezing cold right now.....back then the weather was beautiful! (sort of).....right now we are having BIG winds....HUGE winds.....kindof scary how strong they are. We had a snow squall (sp?) earlier, boy if that would have continued, school would have already been cancelled. I did see our fire department heading to a fire - in these kind of winds, I don't know what they will be dealing with! I need summer SOON! Even though we haven't had much snow, we have had such freezing weather...I want this season OVER!

Hey Bill, did you get to the boat show?

Bob and I cleaned all day long, I got to clean the two bathrooms (lucky me) - want the place cleaned up before Tuesday when I won't be able to use my right hand for at least a week. Remember everyone, I want all the sympathy I can get this week.....I'm waiting
