Yesterday was my birthday and I was alone for an hour and watching VH1 Country and GAC, flipping back and forth of course, waiting to hear Alan Jackson's new on "Remember When". I saw an ad to call in for CRL and the #-that is Country Request Live. I have never in my life done anything like that but figured, hey it is my birthday and a big one too. I call once and it rings forever and then goes busy so I hang up and call again. This man picks up and I tell him what I want to hear and why and he takes my number and says someone will call me back in about an hour, they will then be taping tomorrow's show. So I wait and tell all kids no phone and tell DH who is trying to find part for home computer I am waiting for a call from work please don't use the phone. An hour comes and goes and DH uses phone, I panic and then tell him what I had done, I wanted it to be a surprise for him today. We then figure the place I call is in a different time zone from us and will call later, which is what happened. I am so excited I will be on tonight at 5 Eastern time and they are sending me a 5 pack CD to boot! Wow I never win anything and I will be talking on tv to boot. My 15 minutes of fame, lol. Pixie dust to all!
