Thanks Jes. I'll do my best not to be a lurker anymore. I'm excited for you as your next trip is just around the corner. It's been two years for me. I hate to wish my summer away but...come on October! Can't wait to see all the refurbishment that has gone on since my last visit. Disney Springs was a hot mess when we were there last. I'm also hoping while at the food and wine festival I can find myself a spiked Dole Whip. I've heard of them but have never found one...It's like going to the North Pole and you can't find the big guy. My search is on....

I'm jealous that you're a DVC owner ... I looked at it but it didn't work for me financially.
Disney Springs is a lot better than it was a few years ago, and Food & Wine is pretty cool, so hopefully you can find that spiked Dole Whip!

Not for Food and Wine. I went to the World for the 1st time when I was 6 (1981) with my Aunt and then again in '12 and '14 both in July with my Aunt, cousins, DH, & DS. My husband as a young boy went to Disneyland and we made our return together in '12. Needless to say my Aunt has created more addicts, which I think she is pretty proud of. So we have a lot to look forward to and experience. I so relate to everyone here on the boards when they say they are planning there next trip before they even leave.

Thanks Sarah. I'm really obsessing over finding this Spiked Dole Whip. If all else fails I'm hitting up Trader Sam's and looking for a good substitute. Never been to Sam's but it sounds like a relaxing spot.

I didn't suggest that, because I wasn't sure - can't trust my brain - I don't drink, but I thought I'd heard they didn't have it there anymore @ one point? Not sue at all, just wanted to put that in, just in case......

Mike, Thanks for sharing this link. To the Crue...Thanks for sharing your stories. Even though this show was a little dated, still great to know where you all came from.

I would call it a "snap shot in time" as opposed to dated. All of the shows are "snap shots" and are mostly relevant for the time frame in which they were recorded. But the stories and history are all valid backstory to the shows.
