Yeah the description makes it sound like it would be sweet -
but it's not - it Big - but at the same time smooth.
It's my fave - next is Barolo.
Paul and I may splurge and get some of that when we go out for our anniversary next weekend.
From reading the description, I got that it would be very hearty and dry, Scott's not fond of the heartier reds at all. How are the tannins? If it's too tannic, he gets all puckery and gives me a dirty look for making him try it.

I've never tried a Barolo, either. (but I HAVE heard of it
