Hey Floridians! Do you have a front license plate?

I need to know if in Florida you have a front license plate? Or only a back plate? My sister asked for a Red Sox license plate or a license plate holder for Christmas and I can't remember what she exactly asked for!

No--it is not required in Florida.

I don't even have a place to put a front plate.

Most cars I see for Florida residents will put a frame on their tag in the back to support a team.

A holder would have to be installed in the front if her car was bought here (none of the cars we bought in florida have the front tag holder).

Isn't required. My car doesn't have a holder and I didn't know that until AFTER I bought a tag for it.
Get a license plate holder for the back

When I lived there (2003-2005) they didn't even give you a second plate to put on the front of the car.

I have an expired plate from Virginia, F1GMENT, on the front of my car. The fun thing is my official Florida plate is also F1GMENT and, of course, it is on the rear.

I am sort of surprised that you haven't been pulled over for that--it sounds like a story for a "stupid criminal" article--changed the license plate but forgot to do both

Many who do have a front bracket put plates for their favorite teams or some other personal ad there. We just keep the front bumper clean, except for a few bugs when we go on the turnpike.
