Hey Barb,

Well, here it is noon in Northwest Indiana (Valparaiso)..... at work!! We are expecting bad thunderstorms. And where are you....Castaway Cay, hmmmm that doesn't seem fair. Hope the weather is fine as usual.
Thanks for posting daily, even though we are doing the Eastern I can picture the ship and smell that Carribean air with every one of your posts. All I need is my ESPN mug!!lol Looking foreward to that trip report. Don't forget to fill me in on Midway and ATA.

Sadly, we are leaving Castaway Cay even as I type this. Happily, the weather was GORGEOUS! It was absolutely perfect...warm enough to swim, but not hot and muggy. There was wind, but mostly it served to keep things pleasantly cool. We spent the day at the adult beach, since we did the family beach last time. Serenity Bay definitely lived up to its name. We spent out time lounging in the sun or swimming in the wavy ocean. We ate lunch on that side of the island rather than heading back to Cookies. Then, on the way back, we stopped to ride the Segways before reboarding. "Finding Nemo" was shown at 2 p.m. but we didn't want to rush back and miss island time. We were too tired to stay up and see it at midnight last night, but we did go to see the ventriloquist (Michael Harrison, I think), who was absolutely hilarious, and of course the 70s party. The cruise staff did a great job and the 70s party was as enjoyable as always. The only thing I've noticed is that when a cabaret act is scheduled before an activity like the 70s or 80s party, the entertainers tend to go over the scheduled time (the Hills Brothers jugglers did too). But that was fine with me, as the acts were great and I was pleased to see them as long as they wanted to perform.
It's a very sad day, since tomorrow trip #32 will be over. But at least we will be staying in Orlando for the weekend. Tony is busy packing while I'm on the internet, and then we head off to the spa for our last treatments. "Finding Nemo" is going on tonight in addition to the Farewell Show, but we won't have time to see it because of the spa treatments and dinner. I'm sure it will still be playing on the Wonder in July.
Maybe I'll check in again tonight, and if not, then watch for lots of updates to the website when we return.

Barb, I'm glad to hear you're having a fun time!

I would make one small comment - Finding Nemo is better than Lilo & Stitch. You're going to want to see this when you get home.

Wow.. you really thought so? We saw this today and, for me, it was "just okay." Lilo and Stitch meant a lot more to me. As far as Pixar goes, I really thought Monsters, Inc. was much better too.

I dunno... maybe I just wasn't in the right mindset for it.

Our family is going to see "Finding Nemo" today or tomorrow, the local Weekender section in our newspaper, gave the movie a 4 star rating.

I grew up in Lake Station/ Portage! I'm now a New Yorker with my DH and my twin daughters, but my mom and sister are still in IN and I come home several times a year!!!
